Old school pizza joint, perfect for team sports dinners, watching games (multiple screens), and just relaxing with a pint and a pie. Been here many times over the last 20 years with groups ranging from adult friends, co-workers, award dinners for kids sports, and relaxing by myself. Service has always been good- beer selection better than most pizza places (not Mission Pizza level, but this is much cheaper). One time the place was packed and they forgot my order, but made it fast and gave me a gift card for a pizza at a future visit. Arcade games to keep kids busy are great, but can turn into a money pit quickly.

      Couple tips:
      - they will reserve tables for large parties in advance, but limit seating time to 60/90min or something like that. Call ahead and verify. They were pretty nice about letting us use plates and forks for bday cake that we brought in, but I've heard this isn't always the case, esp when crowded.
      - Shakers is a family place and is almost always packed with kids. Don't expect a quiet experience.
      - They have deals which save a bunch of money on the wall. We always get the "Trembler" which is pizza, drinks, and breadsticks.
-they still have a salad bar, which is a nice option over the typical pizzeria salads made of toppings over lettuce.

Shakers used to be a solid 4 star pizza place with good beer and fun games for the whole family. Lately the quality seems to be slipping.

This time around we ordered a large combo (no linguisa), a pitcher of Modelo, pitcher of diet coke, and a milkshake. Their website and in-store menu lists milk shake options as regular and premium, but no flavor choices.
The first thing I asked the two guys at the counter was what flavors they had for the milkshakes. It took a second for them to say anything, and then they looked at each other because neither of them had an answer. I was told "I think chocolate, vanilla..." then they just stood there blankly. He finally continued with saying something about the regular shakes being like chocolate or vanilla or maybe strawberry and at one point actually said "I don't really know". Then again he continued with telling me that the "premium would be if you chose like cookies and cream or pistachio", so once more I asked if they had a list of the flavors. The answer to that was that I could go look "back there". I had no idea what that meant, as I've never had any ice cream product from them before. I finally figured out that they have a little ice cream "shop" in the back half of the restaurant that says they have the "best ice cream in town". I finally got to choose my flavors and my husband ordered it for me. The woman that helped him was nice and at least seemed to know what she was doing. He asked if it would come with whipped cream and all that and she said yes. So i was placated as this is all I was having tonight.

The beer we ordered was cold and the glasses were frosted and chilly, the diet coke was nice quality as well. The milkshake was terrible. I ordered mint chip and chocolate brownie. When the guy brought it out he had put it in a To-go cup with no whipped cream, which may not be a big thing but it was irritating as they have proper milkshake cups and fixings. My husband retrieved a milkshake glass for me from the bar people. It had very little flavor. I am fairly certain the ratios of ice cream and milk were off, and that they didn't know how to use their milkshake machine. A traditional milkshake done in a milkshake machine is mixed and aerated which gives a milkshake its proper texture. This one tasted and felt like one i had mixed myself in the blender at home- Jack in the Box has way better shakes.

The pizza was 3 star quality. It was loaded well with toppings but was overcooked on the bottom of the crust and difficult to eat. We noticed other pizzas coming out of the oven were very browned on top. The pizza was also not cut all the way through on 4 of the pieces.

The last thing I noticed was that it was not super clean in the restaurant. There was a lot of dust where the napkins were (pic included).

Overall the place is lacking in customer service, quality and cleanliness. With the many other pizza places around I'd recommend skipping this one.

The worst service ever !!! Came in the night shift people were very rude to us. Guy with Afro like hair & bread had attitude and mugged us every time he walked past us . A younger lady made us get our own drinks from the bar instead of them bringing our pitchers of soda. Is this how you treat your customers this is ridiculous I would give this place a 0 star !! Definitely not coming back to this spot very unprofessional.

Don't know what happen to this place but my family and I have been coming here for years usually once a week but the last few times we went here the pizza has been very chewy like a piece of card board, sad to say we had Mountain Mikes for the first time in a couple years this week and you can really taste the difference in quality.

The best pizza in Fremont, possibly the Bay Area. It has an old school pizza joint feel. Awesome food and awesome service.

Pizza was decent we ordered pizza to go 10/01/22 my husband said it was packed in there. Which is a good sign. We ordered a medium combination and a medium pepperoni an order of hot wings and bbq wings. Everything was ok it wasn't the best I have had but not the worst. The hot wings were great the bbq wings didn't even look like wings it was fatty and clumped up together. I wish I would have taken a picture before throwing it out. But it's a decent pizza spot

Last weekend I went to Shaker's Pizza around 3 ish. This was my first time going to this place, so I was not sure what to expect. I ordered a personal cheese pizza and a one plate trip to the salad bar and a soft drink. The pizza was pretty solid. I enjoyed it. The crust is slightly crunchy in the bottom, which is not a bad thing at all, but I think most people are not use to having it that way at other pizza chains. It was totally fine , it could be how they distinguish themselves. I couldn't finish my whole pizza at the restaurant so I brought it home and I ate the rest a couple of days later and I thought it tasted even better. The salad bar was well stocked, but I was disappointed that they didn't have any Macaroni salad, I was totally craving it and I didn't see it.

The cashier was polite. I paid with a credit card, then the cashier went to the bar to print my receipt. I'm not sure if something was wrong with machine that was there. I was not sure if the cashier was going to come back so I went to bar area and signed the receipt there. That was a bit confusing. However, every associate that I interacted with there was very nice to me, from the person who took my order, the person who refilled my Coke, the person who brought out my order, to the person bussing the tables. I appreciated the friendliness I received from everyone who worked there.

It was actually pretty busy. I was not sure where to sit. There were tables that were no longer occupied but they were not clean. I finally just sat at a not so clean table. Later I saw someone come out to clean the tables but he really took his time. Even after he was done there was an improvement but the tables and the areas didn't seem that much cleaner.

From my observations it looked like this is a local staple. The people who were there looked like they were regulars happy to be there and were having a nice family day. The kids seemed to be happy and the adults seemed like they all were enjoying the food and the company. I also saw a baseball coach with his baseball team and the parents enjoying a celebratory gathering there. So from what I saw, this place seems like a good place for families. I also noticed they had like an ice cream room, I forgot to check it out.

To recap, the pizza was pretty solid, portion size was also good. The salad bar was good. The place could have been cleaner, especially since it looked like they were well staffed. But I do want add that someone did come to my table to clean it up a bit. He was polite and he apologized. The employees were friendly and this place seems great for families and friends to gather and have a good meal.
