I just had to note each time I am in Birmingham I make it a point to go to Shain Park everytime...The laughter of kids playing, among the Shoppers and churning fountain with the sounds of birds and the smells of being in Birmingham!

The statue in the Park is also a rare piece of architecture and a great place to take pictures!

Birmingham is one of the most beautiful and charming cities in Michigan, right off the historic Woodward Avenue.

Downtown Birmingham has great shops, restaurants and a vibrant feel. Tucked right behind this great shopping district is a nice Oasis of a Park.

Shain Park is right outside the Famous Townsend Hotel, it allows you to relax and enjoy the sights, fountains, and greenery and take a break for the busy hustle and bustle of shopping. I enjoy the feel for the Park not being just a playground but an area everyone can enjoy, it is almost like a City Center, just a great place to be!

This park is gorgeous. I used to come here every Thursday in the summers here with my family for their weekly concerts. Shain Park has changed a lot since those days (RIP the climbing tree) but is still a beautiful meeting place.

In the summer it is host to many Birmingham events/fairs/concerts. They even have a dog height drinking fountain, I mean come on, that is adorable! If you are in the area I encourage you to stop by and relax for a bit in the park. There is parking everywhere (all struct
