Q:
Thinking about trying this place for dinner tonight. What does everyone recommend for takeout?
A:
It depends on what type of meat you prefer: pork, beef or seafood. I personally like the spicy pork belly

I've eaten here twice now, and I'm really impressed with how they've adapted to being in the market space. (REDEMPTION POST IS COMING)The first time, I ordered the beef bulgogi and honestly was disappointed with the amount of food and surprising lack of kimchi.
The second time I went a few months later, I was given a huge portion of absolutely delicious bulgogi. I asked if they had any kimchi and was told they had ran out, but 5 minutes after ordering they brought me a big cup of freshly made kimchi that made the dish 5 star. This is locally and immigrant owned, and I will definitely be back.
Can't wait for their soupsHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Angela L.San Francisco, CA24Jun 6, 2023
We kept looking for it, but never found the restaurant on Broadway. Googled you again & was sent to Colliseum (?) Blvd - old location, closed down.
Clean up your website & maybe get some better signage. We finally went to Ryu's. It was really good!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - J. Adam S.Conner, MT06Apr 1, 2023
I have been eating at the Seoul Garden for two decades. The menu keeps expanding with excellent new dishes and my old favorites. I recommend starting off with the Kimbop and kimchee soup then just keeping on ordering until your hearts content. Never had a bad meal there or carry out. A true Fort Wayne Gem.

Out second stop here. The last time we came was pre pandemic and the food was delicious and flavorful. This time around we were not disappointed again. My husband had the beef bigogi. I had the pork belly kimchee? And my son had the beef fried rice and fried dumplings. Everything was just as lovely and delicious. A nice stop on our way from Indianapolis. Plus the lady who did the cooking was the sweetest and offered us a nice Korean dessert to finish up our meal and even gave me a good sturdy take out container since we still had a ways to go on our road trip.
Wonderful place. You should visit.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kara E.Fort Wayne, IN0109Feb 17, 2023
I stubbled upon this wonderful place today at Union Street. The service was wonderful and the food was amazing. I asked how long they have been open and they said today was their first day! I am so excited I was able to try and enjoy their food. Please be patient and mindful that today was their very first day! That is why a soft opening is a soft opening, to work out any issues. Give them another chance as I am sure this was their first Friday lunch rush! I know I will be going back!

I got jjamppong and bibimbop. Jjamppong was okay, the seafood was not fresh and it was chewy but the broth was decent.
Bibimbop was terrible. Rice was old, you can tell because it would not break apart easily. There were total of 4 tiny pieces of beef and it was way too sweet. It was mostly just lettuce and cabbage.
I want to root for this place, I really do, but it's just not that good. If you need a Korean fix though, what are you gonna do?Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Xai V.Nokomis, Minneapolis, MN103160206Nov 13, 2021
Decided to check out the local Asian restaurants in Fort Wayne and I'd stumbled upon this place. Everything taste good and look good. I wish she had made it spicier like I'd asked but other than that. It's legit.

Restaurant review
This is a review of the restaurant a few months back. We had just moved to Fort Wayne and found that there was only 2 real korean restaurants in town. We really wanted to like this place because there would not be a good option for a Korean food fix in town. This is a true hole in the wall place that is behind a gas station. I was pleasantly surprised that it is a mom and pop type restaurant, however that really was the only plus. First problem was the super long wait. Although the restaurant was about 1/2 full, it was a long wait before they took our order and even a longer wait for our food. I think it took close to 45 minutes after taking our order for the food to come out. 2. Some of the food is not made fresh, but rather simply reheated frozen food. You can see that as they grabbed a bag of frozen dumplings from the freezer in the middle of the room. 3. Because they were so far behind, they brought a free dish of dumplings to our table. This was fine, except one of the dumplings I had was still cold and sweet tasting. It must have been close to the edge of the plate when steaming. I should have spit it out but I ate it. 4. I had my first bout of true food poisoning after this dinner. Now I can't blame them because it is hard to track down whether it was the cold dumpling, or the egg on the bi bim bop, the banchan, or could it be king gyro I had in the afternoon. I woke up at night with chills, cold sweats, and the runs. This lasted for 3 days and I was simply miserable. The one positive is the staff was super friendly all things considered. She even gave the kids a free korean pastry pack after the meal. Overall the food was okay, as I mention I had the bi bim bop in a stone bowl which was good and authentic, but I wouldn't say that it is the best I ever had. The banchan (side dishes) were tasty. Be your own judge of this restaurant, but for me the remembrance of what happen after the meal has made it difficult for me to come back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Eric F.Fort Wayne, IN02Feb 17, 2023
I tried the new location at Electric Works. It was almost 1:00 pm so not very busy, there were maybe 4 orders ahead of us. We ordered dumplings, bibimbap and the garden tofu. First the order literally took over 30 minutes to be ready. I could maybe understand if they were busy, but it was almost dead when we got there. When our food eventually came my order consisted 70% of rice and lettuce with 6 small pieces of tofu with maybe a quarter cup of vegetables. For our entire meal costing over $50 this was extremely disappointing. My wife's bibimbap was terrible. The ONLY cooked thing on the plate was the tofu and egg. The broccoli was raw. The zucchini was raw. The tofu was oily and had zero flavor. It would have at least been nice for them to acknowledge the crazy wait time, but they seemed totally oblivious. I want local businesses to succeed, but this place was a mess. Don't waste your money.

Stopped in for lunch. Place was busy and I had to wait for a table to be cleared. Waited about 10 minutes to be served after being sat. Went to order fried rice that was advertised as being available with beef pork or chicken. $8.95 but was tried to be up charged for adding pork to the fried rice. It comes with beef pork or chicken I am not adding on anything according to the menu. I was just about ready to leave because there was more talking going on in the kitchen than serving the customers. The up charging was beyond anything I would do especially when a lunch portion of fried rice was already pushing 9 bucks.
