Self-Heal School of Herbal Studies and Healing

Have loved continuing my journey with herbal healing through the self heal schools classes! Amazing in person, hands on learning!

I have been using the beauty cream from Self-Heal School for six months now. I used only small amounts on my face in specific areas daily during this time. It's use has completely healed a red rash condition that began on my face a few years ago, over that time, I had used everything from dermatologically recommended creams like hydrocortisone cream to Aloe Vera creams bought at natural cream trade shows to Manuka honey smeared on this rash for many months. Some were better than others, but all with minimal effective results long-term, in the end, resulting in a drying out and cracking of my skin that always led to continued red rash breakouts weekly. Since using the natural ingredients beauty cream my skin has healed from within and never dries out as it did with these breakouts. I now use it on a weekly basis once or twice a week and have not experienced these breakouts for many months now. Only those that have experienced this skin condition truly know how much it means not to have to experience these red rash breakouts anymore. I see my skin is healing properly because I feel it is no longer tight and soar, instead, supple, flexible and regenerated as it always use to be.

I have had the absolute pleasure of attending classes with Jane and John and have gone through the pre-clinic and clinic courses. They are extremely knowledgeable and very kind! I have learned so much from them and they truly do care about their students. I'm truly grateful to have been able to grow with them and heal both physically and mentally through this beautiful time in my life. I was actually referred to them by an herbalist currently practicing in San Diego as well so rest assured you're going to great teachers!! Highly recommend their classes and if you can I'd definitely take their pre-clinic courses =D

I love this school, some of the best times in my life were learning in the classroom of this school.

And they also have herb walks all over San Diego, They are definitely worth going to, they are at the various city - state parks and as you go along on the walk you will learn quite a bit about the different herbs and plants that are naturally growing here in San Diego California.

What I have learned here at this school I use in my everyday life and it has made a huge difference in my appearance and health and also for my family friends and clients.... The teachers are really excellent.

I am so happy have to gained all of the herbal knowledge that I learned from John and Jane. I am a graduate of the herbal certification course, as well as taking the pre-clinic and clinic training courses. Their classes cover a broad range of information, including but not limited to, basic herbal applications, formulas to make tinctures, medicinal herbs, energy healing, aromatherapy, and other essential calsses. I now feel that I have the tools needed to be a successful herbalist. I currently own a dog walking/pet sitting busines. My goal is to combine my knowledge of herbs along with my business, so that pet owners can come to me for herbal assessments and treatment plans for themselves as well as for their beloved animals.

Was referred by a friend to this school and I am so happy that I decided to take classes here! Jane and John make you feel like family and so do the students! I'm enrolled in the energy healing certificate program and I've learned so much about myself and what true healing is! My confidence and self love have grown and I can't wait to share this abundance of positive energy with others! Would totally recommend this school and program to others!!

I attended school here with John, Jane and a few of there other teachers and learned so much. Not only do John and Jane know their herbs but have so much experience using the herbs they pass on information you would never get from books. They are fun, kind, down to earth and attract wonderful people to their school. The community you will gain through their school is full of people that network and support each other. I am so grateful to have learned from John and Jane and will continue to take classes at their school.

I started studying here in June of this past year. I've been very happy with the knowledge that I've taken away from John and Jane's classes. They're both amazing teachers. The classes are laid back. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the classroom is not accessible to people (like myself) with disabilities.

I couldn't continue my studies but would have. The day/time thing just didn't work out for me being that I have children and my husband wouldn't be getting home from work in time for me to trek all the way from PQ to OB.

The few classes that I did attend were good - even for me and I've been studying herbs for somewhere around 35 years (since I was a kid and began reading my mom's books on the subject). I learned a few new things but sadly had to stop going to class just as things were getting really good and helpful.

Sadly, I won't be able to return again because soon I will be moving out of state.

But whether you're a beginner or pretty skilled by way of herbalism, if you've got an interest, do take a peek at what they offer.

The lack of the 5th star is only because of the times they offer and how often classes are run. I wish they offered more class times and days.

I have taken a handful of classes here and have enjoyed it for the most part.
I did learn all about North American Herbs and go on herb walks at different canyons around San Diego.
I give a low rating because when I have taken these classes a women named Tricia was taking the classes at the same time and would constantly interrupt the class and act so privileged, she was so very toxic in personality that I could not hear and absorb what was going on in class each time, she had said she comes to each class over and over so you can't get away from her. I am surprised they don't say anything to her/the people that run the school.

I rate classes a 1 star because of the disruptions from Tricia
I rate the herb walks 5 stars as long as Tricia the toxic lady does not come
I rate the one day classes a 5 star as long as there are no interruptions from Tricia the annoying student
would I return?/ I guess not because of the constant interruptions
