Such a wonderful treat while waiting for your car to get washed at Barton Springs Car Wash at South Lamar and Barton Springs Road. David is a true professional with magic hands. He checks in with you once or twice to make sure the pressure is okay and that you're doing alright, and you are able to add extra minutes if you want a little bit longer. I usually do 20 minutes and it is time well spent. Also, you don't have to get a car wash to get a chair massage, so consider stopping in when you have time for a quickie. You won't regret it!

The overall experience with Tom who helped quardinate, an experience for my crew members who work so hard Day in and day out. Chris who came both days was very professional and treated (massaged) each crew member with uniqueness to their own needs and body aches.

Booked a single massage therapist to come to my office to give my staff a little bit of TLC, as their jobs are very physical and after awhile, all of us end up with bad backs and various aches and pains. The booking process was quick and seamless.

On the day of, Katrina arrived (early, even!) and set up. I found out that day that a number of my staff had never had a massage before, and every last one of them came out with a smile on their face and expressed how amazing it had been. Two even requested information about getting more massages in the future.

For my money, you can't go wrong with Seize the Day. Literally NOTHING bad to say--it all worked perfectly, and the massages were fabulous. Will definitely be doing this again!

The process of booking was so easy. I filled out the form and was contacted. Received everything electronically and could sign electronically, which I prefer. Communication was great and complete and all my concerns were answered. The massage therapist arrived and the process and transition between multiple sessions went smoothly. I will definitely book the same way next time.

The best stress relief of the day! I am so thankful that Janine and Seize the Day make this service available at work. The convenience of the online scheduler and workplace access makes it simple to schedule. The 10 minute session is like a re-charging station, relaxing and energizing for our employees. This is a great perk for our employees and one that always makes them happy, healthy and more productive during their work day. Janine is a joy to work with and I receive positive feed back from employees on how pleasant, knowledgeable and professional she is. This is a MUST for any Corporation!

I started with a 15 minute massage and five minutes in requested it to be longer. David is amazing!! You can tell me cares about his craft. I will definitely be back! :)

I've been working with Tom the owner for about four years- both in his private practice and I hired Seize the Day for our corporate events. I initially went to see him because of a tear in my rotator cuff. It probably took about 3 months to heal fully, but after over a year of pain and trying other "physical therapy" alternatives, the results were excellent. Tom knows all of the various tendons and ligaments. His knowledge, his "cross fiber friction" technique, and the stretching and strengthening excercises he gave me proved to be solution my shoulder needed.

Then I started P90X (a rigorous workout routine that routinely injures...) and he was able to fix all sorts of body parts that I would injure through that 90 day workout. I have continued seeing him because he is friendly, and- most importantly to me- uses his strong fingers to get deep into my muscles. I can't stand "namby pamby" massage.

I have also hired Tom's company Seize the Day for several corporate parties. We've had about 50 employees, and to two events, the families of our staff. The chair massage professionals Tom has sent have all arrived early to set up, they've started on time, been in uniform, and been quite professional. I know from working with Tom that all are well-trained to follow his chair massage routine to ensure consistency of the product they deliver. They also all must pass a strength test using a sort of "squeeze meter" before he will consider them for his training program! My staff always looks forward to the chair massage at our corporate events. It's been a big plus!

I hate to write this review. I've used Seize the Day for several years for events held in central Austin. When I asked for Seize the Day to provide massage therapists for an event taking place on the east side of Austin, I was told this was "scary" and that the massage therapists would have to have "escorts away from the place". I reminded the person with whom I spoke that I'd done a lot of business with Seize the Day over the past seven years, the person insisted, this place, because it was on "the east side" was different. I was uncomfortable with the fact that he insisted that the massage therapists have "escorts out of the east side" and suggested that this was racist. The person with whom I spoke said I was welcome to what I thought and that he did not think he would feel good about filling my request.
