Seguin Assisted Living

My mother was a resident of Seguin Assisted Living, located in Seguin Texas, from January 2017 until November 2019. Myself along with my mother informed Karen Taylor, owner, that she would be moving on the 25th of November 2019. At no time did anyone suggest we would be entirely moved out on that date and needed to return to finish removing all remaining items on the 27th or 28th. Her rent for November was paid in full at the beginning of the month. On the 27th when I returned to Seguin Assisted Living to obtain the remaining property, everything was taken into a "private dining room" and new residents were already moved in my mother's apartment. I was extremely disappointed to discover that under the order and supervision of Mrs. Taylor, all my mother's and father's possessions were removed and relocated WITHOUT any notification. Karen Taylor had no regards to the security or well being of my parent's personal property and should be held accountable for the violation of the rights of my mother.

My mother-in-law has been a resident of SAL for over a year and we could not be more pleased. The quality of the care, cleanliness, food, activities - you name it - is outstanding. And the owner, Karen, as well as all the staff is always accessible and very accommodating. These are people that treat your loved ones as family.
