5/6/2021I had a major struggle in my addiction. I was on a very thin thread of losing my family and tearing them apart because of my drug usage. I found this place, at first I was scared but I knew I needed treatment to fix and repair the damage I have caused. This place was amazing, it was beyond belief of what they have done for me while I was under their care. The staff was truly amazing to be around. From everything- Admission, techs, clinical therapist, chefs, house keepers. I stayed there for 30 days and extended my stay because I saw how much growth I was making. Everyday that I spent at Seasons was an experience that I will never forget. The staff are there to help you with your struggles and underline issues. I myself was able to bring up things that I never knew until I started to open up. After 15 years of being in my addiction I am truly grateful that I have went to Seasons Malibu. They are very resourceful of helping finding a sober living once you are done with treatment. This place has the far best of knowledge and skills of what it takes to be a treatment center. I would highly recommend this place for anyone that is seeking treatment for their addiction. This place has saved my life dearly.
My sobriety date is Aug 5,2015 and this year I will have 6 years clean. I have also been able to repair the damage I have caused to my family. My bond with my family is stronger and better than before, if it was not for this place I would not be where I am today.
Admissions- truly welcoming with open arms and caring.
Clinical therapists/ Case workers- truly helpful and they are there to help. Truly eye opening experience. Groups are amazing and were truly helpful.
Chefs- truly amazing cooks and super friendly, healthy food.
Residential Advisors/Nurses- amazing team. Each have their own journey to recovery and is truly able to sit and take the time to interact with clients.
House Keepers- They are the most sweetest and gentle people I have ever known. They ask if you need anything and make your stay worth wild.
I am hoping that I will be able to visit them again soon. I do miss my Seasons Malibu family.
To all Seasons Staff Thank you so much for saving my life.
Yours truly Jeff K (Panda) - Stan M.Folsom, CA22317
8/28/2021The worst experience you could ever go through. For me the decision to get help was extremely scary! But I knew I could do it with some help from " professionals"
So I show up to seasons with an open heart and $95,000 check in my hand. I
Kiss my wonderful wife goodbye and I give my trust to seasons!
4 days later I am in the ICU!!!
I spent four days there again I couldn't say this enough thank you los Robles hospital you save my life!!
When I Woke I had bruises on my legs huge gash is on my shins which seasons had no clue how I got!!
So here I am in ICU? I Asked the Doctor in charge of the ICU how did this happen??
His exact words were, this is Text book unmanaged withdraw!!!! You can imagine I was confused because I came to Malibu season "world class" so I didn't have to do an unmanaged withdrawal!!!!
I get released from ICU I have to go back two seasons they wanna talk to me they do not want any of their staff to speak to me. I spoke to a doctor I met vaguely through it zoom call when I was in a less than alert state!!!
I asked, is Don the guy that owns this place going to come out and talk and figure out what went wrong? To my disbelief she said no he has phone calls. So I said he cannot take 15 minutes out of his day to go see the patient that Jud got out of ICU!!
To this day that guy has not returned a single phone call!!
He doesn't care about your sobriety he cares about your money!!!!
Also JR my case manager, he told my wife that I used that's why I went to the hospital.
Hey thats A realistic outcome but you do not say that in to get the results of the toxicology report! And guess what!!
JR WAS WRONG!! He was YELLING at my wife while she is driving to the hospital to
See if I'm ok!
I know this is long but I felt it necessary to let people know their "world class" status is a huge stretch! Don if you won't do it for your patience do it for your employees they deserve better!!!Business owner information

It's always unfortunate when people use fake names to post negative reviews low on facts. Simply put, we saved Stan, better known as Darrin's life. He violated our licensure by somehow sneaking drugs into our facility and after several days in treatment, used them to the point where he was discovered over-dosing in his room and staff had to call the paramedics. That's how he woke up in the hospital, and that's why he was there for four days. It is disappointing that Darrin is misinforming the public and attempting to slander us due to his own actions and lack of taking responsibility. Seasons is widely known as one of the top treatment centers in the world. We sincerely hope Darrin gets the help he so desperately needs.

10/11/2021Every single person is so helpful, so genuine, so accommodating, and completely without judgement. They are committed to keeping you comfortable during your stay. And the team of therapists, my goodness- so kind, so skilled. They have assembled a dynamite team of caring and talented people. They treat people as individuals with a holistic approach, focusing on much more than the addiction or mental health diagnosis you present with. This is so important for lasting recovery. Not all recovery centers/programs are created equal. If you're ready to take this step, pick a place where you'll feel respected and get complete, comprehensive care with a warm touch. Bonus- the environment is beautiful and the food is fantastic. Highly recommended!

12/8/2020I'll keep this short and simple. Seasons in Malibu should not be allowed to operate as a rehabilitation and mental health facility. It's a poor business that does not care about the well being of the clients and instead focuses on how much money they can gain out of you. I had a family member attend Seasons and she was treated poorly from the very start. I went on Yelp to write a review so others are aware of the poor experience we had. I can't say I'm shocked to be reading that many others had a negative experience as well!
As I'm reading these negative reviews, the wonderful Chief Operating Officer (Dr. Sheila S) decides to respond to the reviews. I imagine she would respond in an emphatic way to try and understand where the issue was to improve for future clients, but NOPE! She is attacking everyone who writes a negative review. That's suspicious.. What are you trying to hide and cover?? I attached pictures of the responses and aren't you also confused by her unprofessional responses?
My family spent $50,000+ trying to find the best care for my sister. We put our trust in Seasons and they not only let our family down, but several other families as well.Business owner information

Hi Katie,
Thank you for sharing your opinion. I am sorry that your sister felt that she had a negative experience at our facility. I am familiar with this particular case and while due to privacy laws I cannot speak about the specifics of the case, I can share some general information. Based on our standards of practice, to avoid harm to our clients and staff, our clinical team determined that your family member was better served at a psychiatric hospital with a different level of care. In these cases, we always take any credited amount and apply it for the client's use towards ongoing treatment; and that is what was done for your family member. We are here if you want to further speak about your sister. - 232
2/1/2021I'm writing this review from my cousins Yelp, my name is Chris and I recently stayed at Seasons in Malibu. From the first contact they were extremely kind and polite, naturally this was a sensitive time for me but they made the process very easy. Once I checked in everything went smoothly. The staff was nice, facility was very clean, food was amazing and the staff was top notch! With all that said I was there for one reason only and I'm glad to say I'm still sober which says a lot about them as well. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who asks.

4/25/2021I was a patient at Seasons for 30 days and it completely changed my life. 4 years ago I found my son dead. I had seen local counselors, therapists, grief specialists, and psychiatrists. I was wallowing, just getting by. I supplemented my prescription depression meds with alcohol. The multi faceted approach Seasons employed helped me make a complete 360' turn about. The staff is exceptional. The psychological techniques... that I'd never been exposed to, were phenomenal. It was tough work, digging down to my core. I'm a much stronger person and actual member of society now. I've been gifted a second life! Thank you Seasons!

7/2/2021My stay at Seasons was amazing!! To say that they are the standard is the absolute truth. Everything from the facility and its amenities to all the support staff at all levels. The real pinnacle are the Therapists. They are world class. The growth I achieved there was amazing!! The amount of concern exhibited from everyone was down with heart felt compassion and concern. It was a life changing experience that I will have with me the rest of my life. P.S. the professional Chefs prepare nutritious and gourmet meals. Go for the therapy and stay for the food!!! 3/22/2021This place helped my mind and body heal in every way. Too many words to explain how grateful I am for every person who helped in my recovery. Dr. Ben, KJ, Mariel, hypnotherapy with Barbara!!, Gina, Barb, Elizabeth, Niki.... I was there 3 years ago but every staff in every way will forever be in my heart!

1/11/2021Seasons, and its absolutely INCREDIBLE staff helped me through one of the toughest times in my life. Thanks to them, and some good old fashioned hard work on my part I was able to build the foundation to my recovery. My family and I were shown respect, and support every step of the way. I feel extremely lucky, and fortunate to have been able to spend time at this facility with this team.
All of my Love,
Lauren - Femme B.Los Angeles, CA5778
10/28/2020This place is horrible. Horrible. I made a call to get help. Obviously these reviews r fake. They said they were very empty n I could have any room? After I gave him my insurance information he said the rudest thing. He said , we don't accept Medicare ???? What??? I don't have Medicare u fool!! I have ppo insurance. Nice way to treat someone who needs help. I didn't even realize how bad our healthcare system is until now. This place is so disgusting.

Dear Femme, although we do not have a man working in admissions, we've never been empty, and I would never promote, nor have ever heard any of our admissions counselors say one could have any room they want, especially since private rooms cost more, I want to apologize if your experience was less than satisfactory. I hope you got the help that you need and are staying safe during this critical time.
