I get great service every time I go. I love the quality they provide and my nails look amazing. I've read all the comments and it seems as though there are some very opposite feelings then mine. Honestly I'm glad some of you won't be back because that means I get slots when I need it for a fresh mani. I highly recommend them for gel manicures, they don't do acrylic, so don't stop by expecting to get one.

      Absolutely love this place.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this nail salon. The person responsible for taking care of me seemed quite indifferent and careless. It was evident that she had no interest in providing proper service or doing her job diligently.

I have been to many nail salons before, so I can confidently say that this was by far the worst encounter I've had. The service was subpar, and it felt like she underestimated my knowledge and familiarity with the procedures.

I strongly advise against spending your money at this particular nail salon. If the staff members are not committed to their work and do not show genuine care for their customers, then it's simply not worth it. I hope that the management takes notice of this issue and takes steps to improve their services and hire more dedicated staff members.

The manager never changes still horrible service

      Typical nail salon. Not surprised.

They do decent job and have a lot of colors and styles to choose from. Prices are not bad at all.

I just hate even when you make a appointment they never take you on time. They're just so rude and disgusting. Always talking shit. Like we don't know. Then they expect to get tipped.

When you walk in and it's like why did someone come in and they have to work. Don't expect to come in and to get treated good.

Just get your nails done and leave and hope they do a good job.

I use to go to this place on a monthly basis because it is within walking distance from my apartment and they're convenient when you're in a pinch. I haven't been here since the pandemic started. They've remodeled their interior but not their attitude, workmanship, or sh*t-talking. (Full disclosure - When I use to come here, they knew I spoke Chinese so they knew not to talk sh*t. I guess this time with the mask, they didn't recognize me.)

From beginning to end, everything about my gel manicure SUCKED.

They rushed me to pick a color calling me in Chinese a 'Typical picky whiny American'. I had only been sitting down for 3 mins and gone through ONE wheel of gel colors at that time.

Staff would talk shit about every single customer that walked in. They called people slang/derogatory words in Chinese. They called certain people, based on the color of their skin, animal names. It's so rude and I'm sure if people who were regulars knew their nicknames here, they'd think twice about coming. I was extremely uncomfortable.

My gel manicure is as bumpy and uneven as a broken down cobblestone road. My nails are uneven and not the same length. When I pointed out that some of my nails were square while the others were round, I got a 'grunt' as an acknowledgement from a reluctant manicurist who ended up fixing it.

I have gel nail polish all over my fingers, she didn't even bother cleaning the mess up. At the time of this posting, two of my nails already gave air bubbles popping up.

COVID Protocols - Close to NONE. Masks required only. No temp checks. No hand sanitizer available. No barriers between staff/customers and customers/customers. They do not sanitize the work area after each customer. They only thing I saw they even attempt to clean are the Mani/Pedi tools but simply spraying then with sanitizer spray and sticking it in the UV light.

I'm so glad I got a vehicle and can drive to better salons and no longer have to come here. Farewell Seashell Spa, it was 'okay' while it lasted.

Gel nail polish all over my fingers - I had already picked some off by the time I got home.

Not bad! The pricing is very reasonable: dip powder $40, pedicure $23

Really good selection of colors, pleasant atmosphere.
Not too many people so it wasn't hectic.

The shaping of the nails could use some work and definitely filing the excess to make the nail less bulky could have some more work, but overall not bad at all. I would definitely come again if I am around the area again. Originally I wanted to do plain white but one of the nail techs suggested a sparkly one. Cute. I would definitively make sure they just match the length and I just went in w/ a nail file to make them a little bit skinnier on the side other than that 7/10

My friend (who is blind) and I went in for pedicures, which we called ahead and confirmed for 5 pm. We were met with an exasperated look when we got in the door and were told only one of us could be seen while the other had to wait. Ok...fine. My friend went first while I sat beside her to chat. When I asked if it was ok for me to sit in the empty pedicure chair beside her, they ignored me several times. Right off the bat, bad sign... The woman attending to my friend didn't buff her nails, or do anything to slough off callouses. She didn't even ask what kind of pedicure she wanted! She would have paid extra for the callous treatment. Once I saw how they did her nails though, I thought to better not bother. They didn't even tidy the edges. She essentially was given a foot bath and given a coat of clear polish. I could've done that myself and saved the $23 plus $6 tip. As for my nails, my pedicurist did a slightly better job, but not much. She didn't snip the calloused skin around the nail bed, or slough off callouses on the heel. They didn't do enough coats, and my right large toe had a grainy finish. They also didn't offer to help my blind friend put on her shoes, or direct her to be seated to drying. The girl that was attending her basically abandoned her without any communication as to where to go next out of the chair. Every single step of getting our nails done, I basically had to ask multiple times before someone answered. They treated us like they were doing us a favor for being there, instead of being attentive to us. I'm sad I ever came to this place and dumped my money on two crappy pedicures with bad service.

Yeah avoid this place like the plague. Don't let the nice interior fool you. These women destroyed my nails by drilling the s*it out them to remove my acrylics which I got done there as well. They're careless and overpriced. My nails paid the price for it and actually hurt for days after. DON'T DO IT.

Seashell recently completely renovated the salon to make it more modern which looks amazing. They now have 4 BRAND NEW pedicure stations and 4 manicure stations. They finally got rid of that horrible carpet and put down wood flooring. They also have a MUCH larger gel color selection.
      The best part is.....Air conditioning!

I respect everyone who works hard to make money that they deserve, but some ladies here really need to watch out her mouth before she talks to her customers:)

I came in with the pic of the nails with metal effect and asked them if they could do the nails like that, the lady with thick brown eyebrows in the front desk answered me "yes" with confidence. Ard, after i sat down and got my nail extensions, gel, color and whatever the designs done, it was like one and a half hour passed, the same lady, came to me with 5 trashy, ugly nail color, and she said " We don't have the color you want, choose one from here." Huh? Wait, honey, yOu Don't hAvE thE CoLOr I WAnt? Why ain't u tell me 90 mins before, honey? And now you tell me what u have is "pretty similar" to the effect I want, and the pic I had was photoshopped. Hmmm...TAKE MY TIPS AND FIND A GOOD OPHTHALMOLOGIST, AND GET BETTER EYEBROWS. FAKE LITTLE LIAR.
