Despite few people telling me not to go to him I decided to try anyways, because he was near our home. Well I should have listened. My husband and I set up a regular physical check up since we haven't been to one in years (my husband protested the whole time)...called my insurance they told me everything would be covered. Awesome!!!

Well, just for blood work - (not even full bloodwork just testing for 1 thing on me and 1 on my husband)- between my husband and I we are now paying almost 600 fucking dollars because he decided to use some coding doctors use other than routine physical which is what I scheduled to begin with ....when I called and asked why and if it could be changed so that my insurance can cover it he told me a big fat NO. Get this - He ran it as an office visit with outpatient care...FOR MY YEARLY CHECK UP!! My insurance would have covered everything 100%... but hey, let them pay 600 for bloodwork. My husband isn't even diagnosed with anything but because his mom has diabetes he checked him to be sure he was ok it was no longer part of his physical....how, I don't know.

My biggest problem here is, if you, as a Dr. know how this shit works why would you have done this and not tell us it would be a separate charge!!? If I scheduled a physical and you are doing shit that's not considered part of a physical and you know we will be charged an arm and a leg why, why would you not say anything.

Be forewarned, for your yearly routine physical you need to be 100% healthy because any concerns you have will be considered pre existing and some other bull crap.

You are better off going to a hospital where they actually do your physical and count it as that.|
