Delicious food and considerate service. The environment is a bit crowded so you'd better go there early on weekends

This place was so delicious. I loved Sava's and can't wait to come back. We loved the Mediterranean salmon salad bowl. It was filling and delicious. The bowl was packed with amazing flavor and the service was so incredibly kind.
They brought me out my sandwich with chicken even though I didn't order it with chicken and they were fast about fixing the issue. The sandwich was mid but fries were delicious and the mayo/ aioli was nice as well. The restaurant was nice and aesthetically pleasing.
I look forward to visiting again soon! I will definitely be ordering the salmon again, it was cooked perfectly!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jay W.Richardson, TX15331819Mar 24, 2024
Sunday night supper meet up after UM SMTD activities. Not a packed crowd, that was nice.
Salmon on rice was very very good. Small portion but it was good. We also had the sweet potato fries, olives, Mac and cheese and the pasta salad. All were good. Nothing was amazing but all were solid choices.
Environment was good. Music was good and playing at a volume where we could sit and talk without yelling. Service was awesome.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Cheryl W.Brighton, MI02430Mar 24, 2024
My husband and I dined here for the first time on a March date night. The food was very good. He has the braised lamb shank, and I the capellini Marlon. Most notable was the service. We had ordered the Mediterranean olives as an appetizer, but they came with our main courses, instead. No worries--they were amazing!!--but the manager personally apologized for their late delivery to our table and provided us with a dessert, as well. The tres leches cake was out of this world.
Great wine list, great service, quality food, and fabulous house-made olives and dessert.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 29, 2024
Food was good, a bit pricey. I got the pulled pork sandwich. It was so good and it came with fries and garlic aioli sauce. That sauce was the star of the meal. I also got a cocktail called Sweater Weather- it was good and sweet. Our server was amazing, she was helping us with a lot of recommendations on food and drinks. This place is very nice and clean, perfect for a fancy dinner in downtown ann arbor!

We've been meaning to try Sava's when in Ann Arbor and this is another place well should not have waited so long to try. Can't wait to get back here's
I had the Capellini Marlon and really enjoyed it! The seafood was cooked perfect, had excellent flavor, and was not in short supply. Be aware the sauce is pretty think and buttery so be ready for a
Heavier meal.
My wife had the Greek Salad with chicken and really enjoyed it, she said she would order it again without question.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 1691193Feb 15, 2024
Great place for dinner. Our server was awesome and made sure that our meal went great. We got the burger, sweety fries, Mac and cheese, and the greens salad. The burger was absolutely amazing and so were the fries. I would come back just for that. Would love to come back to try other things on the menu.

Went to dinner before a great show at Hill Hall. Our waitress explained the menu in so much detail and told us her favorites. Based on her recommendation we all ordered the capellini marlon. (Saffron butter sauce with shrimp and lobster over angel hair pasta.) We also ordered the hummus and Brussel sprouts as starters. Everything was delicious! Service was exceptional and the ambience is beautiful. I wish I spent more time in Ann Arbor because this would definitely be on my list to visit.

Note to self - eat here for a good lunch/brunch, avoid this place for dinner.
The lunches are reasonably priced and appropriately portioned. Dinners not so much...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Apr 25, 2023Previous reviewUsually when to grab a bite to eat and your really really famished, it tastes great no matter what.... Well, I definitely finished my New York strip steak but something was a bit off from the start when I noticed it came pre-cut with A1 sauce drizzled on the top - maybe it comes this way?? Looking to confirm on the menu now but it isn't there - hmmm.... The steak along with the potatoes were just blah - not quite sure how to describe it other than it tasted like something you would rder to-go and then eat it 10 hours later.
The Mahi Mahi fish tacos were actually very good but very very small. It came with four for $22 but you could literally consume one in one bite.
This place has always been a bit pricey and I guess portions were never big but I will definitely never get a steak here again.
