Sarku Japan

This is definitely number one choice when I am at Oak View.When I walked in the door, the smell attracts me to go here. I was never let down here because the place is outstanding.

Great flavor, delicious food, generous portion, and very quick service. Chicken teriyaki is a must to try, fried rice, steamed veggies, and grilled chicken with this sweet spied teriyaki sauce. The price is fair, probably the same price with other fast food places, not sure whether it is healthier or not.

But if you find yourself at Oak View, go try this place.

Run...don't walk...okay, not if there is Ice on the ground, or scissors in your hand. But definitely hurry, like do that weird speed walk thing, if you have to. Who cares how goofy you look...you're about to eat something good.

The sauce, chicken, rice, vegetables...and quantity you get. Best deal in town! They make a smaller bowl but don't bother...you'll want more! Then it'll be too late. You'll have bowl regret.

The cooks are loud/proud, super nice, and love throwing on extra sauce on request. I've never left hungry or feeling like they "missed."

This place has completely gone downhill. Not only did they raise prices AND shrink the container size...now they are giving you half the chicken.
What made them to goto -PORTION SIZE - is now the reason NOT to go. I used to go twice a week....not anymore. Not worth it now

Shit, they weren't closed but said they were after i drove an hour to eat there. This is bs. Do not go.

Walked all the way through the mall only to find them closed 15 mins early. This has been twice in a row now. Never again will I make an effort to eat here, they've lost my business permanently

We drove all the way out here and found out they had already started cleaning up 15 minutes before close and wouldn't let us order. If you close at 6:45, then update your hours to reflect that. We used our time and gas to go here just to be told they wouldn't serve us.

A very good choice in the Oakview Mall food court. The menu is simple: basically choose a meat and they'll fry it in teriyaki sauce and place it on a bed of rice and vegetables.

They often have a mountain of uncooked chicken on the grill quite close to the cooked meat, so I watch them very closely. So far, I've never seen the two touch, and they've always been good at using separate spatulas.

Payment is by cash or card swipe-no secure chip or NFC methods yet.

Dang, getting Sarku Japan without having first 1-5 free samples at the mall just isn't the same. BUT that said, when it's delivered to me so I don't have to venture out into the cold, that might be better.
I ordered Sarku today because it was chilly, and I wanted something to warm my belly, I also wanted something super filling and flavorful.
I had a 20% OFF coupon of $15 and so I ordered a little outside my favorite meal which is chicken + fried rice and instead had chicken + noodles + double chicken and pot stickers.
WHOA I almost couldn't lift my take out bag it was so heavy. I opened the box and all I could see was a mountain of chicken.
I just so happen to be working from my parents and when they saw what I had ordered, I thought I might have to fight them for my lunch. Luckily,with a double chicken order, everyone could have this dish.
Its a classic teriyaki meal that you can never go wrong with and you always end up satisfied. Love that they still deliver even if you don't feel like going to the mall. No pictures because I was thinking with my stomach. But 10/10!

Sarku is always a must when visiting Oakview mall. It's the best and most consistent vendor in the food court and always have the best offerings.
In addition to being really tasty food, they always give you a TON of it! It's a good thing it comes in a to-go box because I can never finish it in one sitting!

This is one of the busiest shops in the mall and for a good reason. The Teriyaki chicken is great ! The chicken itself does look a little iffy but I have never got sick from it. The flavor is good and they give you a lot. They will ask you if you want the veggies and I always get them and the rice. You could probably split this meal with 2 people.
