I would not recommend living here. Or next-door neighbor was a drug dealer, and she would have people in and out of the place. We they had dogs that would bark all night long. They were going to charge us 30% more rent the following year. The max you can raise rent in only 10 %. We confronted this, and they said it was a mistake. I was wondering how many people just payed it and renewed their lease.
Okay, so we cleaned our apartment and steam cleaning our carpets. we left the place just as when we moved in. We were charged $230 for a cleaning service. So wrong. They didn't even need someone to come it.
Again, I am not recommending this complex. Spend a little more and move into something better and not get lied too.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I love it here! This place is defiantly kid friendly. There is an updated playground that is full with kids playing. A Laundry room that has nice washers (1.75-2$)and dryers(1.75$ for 50mins). The Fitness room is my favorite there is so much equipment that we canceled our gym membership and use it for free. They provide workout classes too!! Parking isn't an issue We have two cars one that we park inside the gate the on the street. We had our garbage disposal brake and it took less then a week to get fixed. They have a clubhouse great for birthdays and when you have extended family over and bbq pits in the courtyard. Something that my boyfriend was happy About is we can bbq on our balcony.

I love living here management is amazing! My roommate and I's air conditioner broke and we let Mary know. She had Douge (maintenance) come out the next day to see what they could do. They were both upfront and realistic about how long it would take if they needed someone to come out. They were able to fix it within a timely manner.

We lived there for more than 2 years until we moved to another state. It was a nice time!
If you have kids, this apartment will be the most wonderful home for them. My children really miss their previous home.
Thanks to the great manager Mary, for such a wonderful time that we spent in San Jose Greens Greens!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

My husband and I lived here for two years and moved out when we bought a house. The location of the place is great...right in between Campbell and Los Gatos. There is an abundance of supermarkets close by to choose from (Safeway, Lucky, Nob Hill, 2 Whole Foods, and 2 Trader Joe's, Lunardi's) as well as many nearby restaurants. The area is safe and there's a gate around the complex, so you can feel extra safe if you are a single female.
The rent is reasonable compared to apartments around there. It's not a luxuriously upscale complex, but we were fine with that because we didn't want to pay extra for a pool or clubhouse that we would barely use. The complex has a small fitness area in the main building. The fitness area is opened pretty late for people who work late. The individual apartment units don't have washers and dryers, but the complex laundry facility is large with lots of washers and dryers. It still gets crowded during the weekends though, so I usually did laundry during off hours.
One thing to note is that there usually were a lot of elementary school age kids playing in the courtyard after school and on weekends. The complex has an after-school and summer program for the kids who live there. The complex also backs into an elementary school, so you can hear students during recess when school is in session. If you don't like the sound of kids laughing and playing, then you might not like this place. As for the residents who live there, everyone was respectful and mostly kept to themselves.
My husband and I were in a two bedroom. The living room, dining area and kitchen were spacious enough for us. There was a gas stove, which was a plus as most of the apartments we saw had electric stoves. The bedroom sizes were a little small, but doable. The closets were a decent size. The overall quality of the apartment was average, since the fixtures were standard... not many upgrades, but everything worked.
The best part of the whole place were Matt (the complex manager) and Aaron (the maintenance manager). They were quick to respond and were always very friendly. Matt usually went above and beyond for his tenants. Aaron was exceptionally competent. You can tell that they both cared about the residents. The two of them seem to work well together and make a great team.
I did not give the complex 5 stars because it is a standard apartment complex. There's no upgrades in the units themselves and there aren't any major amenities. Home office was always a bit stingy about authorizing anything above standard grade. However, our experience was better than the average 3 stars because of Matt and Aaron. Seriously, they are totally awesome! I would recommend this place if you are on a budget, but want a decent place to live with a responsive and friendly management team. Home office should definitely give Matt and Aaron big raises for all the hard work they do to keep this complex a clean and safe community.Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jon M.Santa Clara, CA03Jun 5, 2013
This was the first time living on my own. I've lived here for a year and everything has been going great. Management is friendly and maintenance. However, when I was pregnant, the kids that hung out in the courtyard were quit noisy. I didn't want to notify management because "kids will be kids". And it's apartment living.
But anyways, living here has been great for a first time apartment. OH, I did have a problem with my downstairs neighbor. She would complain even though I would be the only one there saying I was running around and what not. My happy pregnant self would not. :)Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
