Another visit...today we ordered a large seafood pizza. They are generous with toppings and the crust is excellent. Our favorite pizza place in the area. Good service and friendly staff. Huge menu. Not just pizza.

The food is consistently good and the service is as well. The menu has something for everyone-and not only pizza. Reasonable prices; clean establishment. I recently stopped by mid afternoon and asked for two half baked pizzas to take home and finish baking later. I was even offered a (complimentary) beverage while I waited. Everyone is super nice, especially the owner, who was right behind the counter, helping me. Because we like their pizza so much, we have never tried anywhere else. Photo was taken while I waited; no one eats at 3 pm, so please don't be concerned that there are no customers shown.

Oct 17, 2019Previous reviewGreat pizza without skimping on the toppings, friendly and efficient service at a reasonable price. What else is there to say? We had the shrimp artichoke pizza and it was delicious.

Yummy home cooked favorites leaning toward the Italian fare. Great local spot to fill your tummy and not bust your wallet. Good selection of desserts, as well.

Great pizza - the mushrooms were fresh not canned.
The antipasto salad was fresh with olives and rolled up meat and cheese.
I was really impressed by the delivery. We are at Tilghman Island. The delivery charge was $7 and she said it would take an hour. That's exactly how long it took. The pizza was warm not hot, but it was a 15 minute drive for delivery.
Would definitely order again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ron H.Easton, MD024Jul 2, 2022
We were looking to have a casual Southern Italian dinner, and this place looked like the right type, but I would have to describe it as "just OK," based on our full dinners. The service was similarly mediocre: dishes were not presented in a timely, coordinated fashion, with reminders necessary. There was also an annoying number of flies throughout this indoor restaurant. The one caveat to this review is that we did not sample the pizzas, which seems to be their main attraction.

ordered a calzone , asked for extra marinara sauce and even called back to make sure I got extra & the lady on the phone responded with "I gotcha !"... waited an hour for the food anyway which I was okay with so , when the food got here I was nice to the delivery guy tipped him and said goodbye , when I opened my food I realized there was no sauce at all and fortunately the guy wasn't too far away so I was able to flag him down and aware him on what was going on .. He insisted that he would be back and I believed him being that I wasn't that far down from the restaurant.. minutes and minutes go by and he's not back yet so I call . The place closes at 9 I called at 8:52 and the ladies on the phone tell me that I was never charged for marinara so they didn't give it to me but that's what I asked for right ?? She kept telling me that they were closed and there was nothing that they could do & that it was a mistake on their part.. also tried to make it as if the situation would be better just because they apparently didn't charge me for it .

Amazing food. The pizza is delicious. The crinkle cut fries really steal the show though! We love how affordable it is you really can't beat a burger platter with fries, cole slaw, and pickle for $7.

This is my go-to takeout place. They have lots of variety and all of it is good. I've had pizza, wraps, burgers, and I am never disappointed!

I feel really bad writing this. I generally love Sam's. Really good Greek food, wide variety, really nice pizza, and among the best crab imperials I've ever had. Today, though, I wanted a crab cake, and ordered the sandwich. Not a winner...
I ordered it broiled; it was pan fried. Could not taste crab or seasoning; it tasted like the fish cakes we would occasionally get served in high school. Really disappointing, especially since we're kinda in the crab capital of the world (Maryland pride!). Around here, I'm used to seeing real chunks (often lump) of soft white crab meat. Not this one; it was pink, and the meat (and unidentifiable veggie stuff) was chopped so fine as to be unrecognizable. Did I mention that it was pink?
Really disappointing, especially given how great the crab imperial is. This is truly the only bad meal I've ever had at Sam's, and I eat here year round. It may have been a fluke, but it will be a long time before I try another crab cake here.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 49456765May 29, 2016
Called at 845 and they said they close at 9. Then, subsequently when i tried to call back and order a pizza they proceed to not pick up their phone for 5 minutes and when I finally got through at 850pm, they said they are closed. I argued with them saying I had just called and they said they closed at 9. However it was to no avail. Lazy service.
