Salt Lickers

Great food and environment. The wife loves it for the crawfish and I love the boudin. The servers are friendly and always checking to see if you need anything else.

If you live in Grand Saline, Edgewood or a Day Trip from Dallas this is a GREAT PLACE TO EAT.
Food was very good, make that very, VERY GOOD.
Deserts were Excellent.
Service was outstanding, it was like we had our own private wait staff if a relatively full restaurant, the young woman was always by our side asking if we needed anything.
It was worth the trip from Dallas.

Food was good. We had poppers...they were good, a half jalapeño with cheese, battered a fried. We burned our mouths on the cheese! Fried shrimp was good and chicken sandwich. The tornado taters were really good. Service was very attentive, beer was cold, tho first beer came skunky. Could have been a fluke because we drive by this place and it's absolute packed.

Great place great staff clean relaxing place! Gator basket and shrimp basket were fresh and tasted delishous! Had to come back same day to try get the shrimp crawdad and crab boils. Took a little walk around the area came back and threw back a few beers but it sure is worth the wait! Will come back again five stars try like 10!! Price is not bad at all

My family eat here at least twice a month! Food is great, beer is always cold and the service is always spot on even on busy Friday/Saturday nights. The owners Tara & Heath are always there to make sure you feel welcomed and that your experience is perfect. Cannot recommend this place enough!

If I could give zero stars I would. I felt like they were trying to tell me something with how small the portions were.

This was the most embarrassing restaurant I've ever been to. This place is called Salt Lickers? More like Chum Bucket.

Visited the first time on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Ordered burgers and fries. Waited 35 minutes for our food and it was served cold. The hamburger was returned and the kitchen took another 15 minutes to reheat the same burger. I was told there was a crawfish issue in the kitchen which caused the long delays and cold food. This was totally unacceptable customer service and a terrible burger. Will not go back and would not recommend this eatery to anyone looking for a quality meal and timely service.

Awesome awesome awesome! Sorry for the lack of photos but we enjoy the food and atmosphere so much that we often forget to take them. We try to go once a week. Not only is the food damn delicious but the staff and amazing owners know the true definition of customer service. I try something new everytime and have not been disappointed. Go try them out, what you waiting for!?

Tasty fresh lemonade, calamari, popcorn shrimp, and classic burger, this place did fine for us and had very reasonable prices. There's a lot (a lot!) of fried breading on the shrimp and calamari, but it's tasty. The large-cut fries were kind of mushy for my taste. The burger was excellent. I bumped this up to 4 stars due to the super friendly, welcoming and awesome staff. it's a favorite with the locals, and I can understand why, with a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
