This Safeway is quite large and seems to be clean and well-maintained with products organized on shelves. They've got a large parking lot just off the highway. There is a Starbucks inside.

employee leo came over on an alert because i moved the creamer out of thr paper-sack to free standing on paid scale in self check out. leo safeway's employee & aggressive theft investigator then roughly went through the entire bag about 7 items to make sure they were rung up.
and they were!
seemed sorta intense but i kept scanning.
then leo, at self check out , grabbed my cart, cashed my 120.00 order out and said he was re-ringing everything up. i was surprised as every single item i had bagged was rang up. every single thing! he insisted that i had a unrang pineapple and was very loud, embarrassing in front of numerous people. i cannot even put into words how horrible, degraded and targeted i felt.
my friend also checking out said i work for safeway (because she does!) and my friend (me) would not steal anything. leo said well we will see...
i ended up just walking out in tears because of the scene.
listen safeway, your a big corporate monster, we all get it. but seriously i will make sure i never shop at your store. i will make sure my family & children dont shop at your store. and hey hopefully over the top, shoplifting detective leo gets to keep on harassing and degrading your customers while you sit there and do nothing... i mean really you have a real gem in that employee. and if his job at safeway doesn't work out, he can always see if there's a slot open in the nazi party for him to abuse people....because your business model eventually's going to bite you in the ass and i can't wait to watch you close down.

Only one star because of their prices ! Just so out of line!!!

I stopped in here after a hike to get a kombucha and a little snack. The store was decorated nicely for fall and there was a pumpkin patch outside. Everything looked clean and tidy. There was a great kombucha selection and I tried a new flavor which is really refreshing! I also got fresh cut pineapple, which was really fresh and I tried a pumpkin spice Cliff bar-amazing! I went through self checkout and there was no line. It was a quick and easy shopping experience!

Well after giving them chance after chance we've decided to shop at Freddie's. We got expired milk again and moldy bread all in less than a week. Same employee that fulfilled the order both times.
It's like dating Jennifer Lopez, every time you go back it's still Jennifer Lopez, nothings changed. Sorry Ben, not sorry.

Nov 23, 2021Previous reviewContinuous issues with this store when ordering online for pickup. This takes the cake. My son showed me this and when I called with my concerns they put me on hold and didn't get back to me.
We've got expired milk in the past too.
We are just lucky that Fred Meyer is just as close to our house and will be shopping there from now on.
In this day and age of kids making 15.00 dollars an hours they just don't care about customer service or just wait for government checks for not working at all. Check your food before you open it or even leave the parking lot because the employees here won't.
Take your time drive a mile further and go to Fred Meyers.

I just want to say that you have one of the best worker in your food court section! Her name is Katrine. This lady is so nice and so friendly with nice smile on her face. She is ALWAYS in the good mood! She makes me to come back over and over. She is truly serves her customers. She should have promotional bonus for her services!

The soap dispenser broken! How we suppose to wash our hands?
This Safeway haven't fix they problem for at list one year. The bathroom door does not have a hook for the purse. I can go on....to bad that their stuff members and supervisor don't care for their customers.
Overall - it is a shame

Pretty clean and easily navigable Safeway! Came in for a quick kombucha to quench my thirst after a long hike. Will definitely be back after all the hikes in the area.

I mean what do you say. It's a local grocery store. So that's an easy +1. They have a Starbucks where you can sit and people watch. +1. They didn't food poison me. +1. That's about it. They can't pick and pack to save their lives. No deli cheese. 1/2 picks on burger. When they have a ton in the store. Just go in and get stuff yourself. And grab a Starbucks. Otherwise be prepared to scratch your head.

My 13 year old daughter is a huge Walking Dead fan. With only 24 hours notice I contacted Camee in the bakery and sent her a picture of the cake I wanted with a classic scene from The Walking Dead on it. "Yeah, I can totally make that!" she told me.
She ROCKED that cake. She spent time (I assume on her time off) checking Pinterest boards for other examples, and with 2 hours left till my daughter's birthday party contacted me to tell me it was ready. I was so impressed when I saw it, and my daughter loved it so much she didn't even want to cut into it.
This is true customer service. With almost zero notice their baker put her heart and soul into a project to help make a 13 year old girl's birthday awesome. I would have gladly paid double, but the cake wasn't a penny more than any of their standard sheet cakes.
I've consistently gotten this level of service from other people at this Safeway, like the time that Penny in customer service spent 20 minutes on the phone when the prepaid phone card I bought for my daughter did not work. She also went above and beyond.

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. Filled a prescription here and I'm from out of town and it could not have gone worse. The attendant, Charlene, couldn't figure out how enter in my insurance info BCBS, the most standard insurance carrier, and had me pay full price. Absolutely terrible.
