Last night I went to Safeway and my cart suddenly stopped at the exit door hitting me violently in my breasts. I don't know why it stopped, because I went through the register with my purchase. This caused me harm and injury.
Today, my entire entire left Breast is sore today from the Safeway cart slamming into my breasts!! I am fed up with Safeway!!locking up the carts at the exit door is a asinine way of controlling crime. My cart went through the register and i was not stealing anything!!!
Years ago in my neighborhood we had a grocery store that had "Conveyer" belts. The "baggers" at the registers would put your Groceries in a crate and give you a ticket to get your groceries from the crate when you pull up to the belt.
If Safeway is going to lock your carts at the exit door and in the parking lot far away from your vehicle, then they need a system to get your groceries to you vehicle and STOP having the shopping cart ATTACK YOU AT THE DOOR AND Causing YOU INJURY!
I stopped shopping at the Safeway store on Dublin West side for this reason. I got tired of my cart suddenly stopping in the parking lot leaving me stuck sometimes in the rain in the middle of the parking lot with groceries I had to carry by hand to my car! Now Safeway at east side at Tassajara is doing the same.
I am done with shopping at Safeway Stores. I may have to run to the store to get something that i can carry in my hand but my money will not be spent at Safeway when I can get the same groceries at other stores that are friendly and customer service is not causing the customers harm at the expense of saving the store money.Â
I am 71 years old and having to carry groceries from the exit door or stuck in the parking lot far away from my vehicle is NOT what i am going to do!SAFEWAY HAS NEVER BEEN TOO BRIGHT WITH its CUSTOMERS SERVICES (other bad experience with Safeway Stores) AND THE STAFF IS VERY UNHAPPY TOO!

This pharmacy is definitely one slowest pharmacies. It's not a busy pharmacy for a reason..because the service is slow and rude. If you ever need to call, you are placed on hold for a long time. That or they will get back on the phone after claiming that they were researching something that they do not have that medication. I guess their stock isn't that big because they simply do not have that many patients. I am looking forward to switching back to the Pleasanton Safeway on Bernal.

This pharmacy is great! Super quick and very responsive! Yes, there is sometimes a wait but there's a wait everywhere. The pharmacist knows what he's doing and walks you through your medication and answers any questions.

Do not come here unless you want a headache and someone to argue with.
It starts off with the "auto fill". After telling them multiple times to put me on auto fill they still have not done so. I don't know if they are lying to my face or if their system does not work but i have asked multiple times with no success.
Next, the phone call...since I was not on auto fill I needed to call them to fill the prescription. First time I call they pick up the phone without saying anything and leave me on hold. Eventually after 5 minutes without a word I hang up can call again. Second time the same thing happens, they pick up and without saying anything put the phone down. This time they actually hang up the phone a minute into it. Third time, they pick up the phone and immediately hang up. RUDE. Fourth and final time, she picks up the phone, says her name and acts like they did not just hang up on me three times in a row.
Lastly, the service at the actual store is pretty awful. There will be no line, but for some reason I still end up waiting for help, they lose prescriptions, take hours to fill, etc. Going to school with a bunch of pharmacist, there is a reason why none of my friends work for Safeway pharmacy. Have made this pharmacy my one and only. Very capable staff, polite, and usually not crowded. The pharmacist is thorough and helpful. Glad to have found this place.

Came in at 9 PM sharp only pharmacy in town open hour early before everybody else was met by the very nice Miss Dolores took my prescription quickly put it in my hands within 5 to 10 minutes that she promised great service great staff both women were very great

This review is for the pharmacy. On more than one occasions, after I've asked my doctor to refill my prescriptions, which should be ready to pick up after 24-48 hours, the pharmacy did not start processing it until I show up, which add another 30 minutes of wait time (or I have to come back the next day). Very poor process!! Often times, I will have to call in advance to check that the prescription is ready to pick up before wasting time driving over. Such a poor user experience! Would give this a 0/5 if I could!!

The other reviews are spot on. Yikes, a simple refill and they have a hard time figuring things out. I came by to pick up a refill and was dealing with new staff. She was so rude and argumentative. Time to switch pharmacies. Not worth the headache dealing with incompetent staff.

I shop at this Safeway for the last 9 years and I recently noticed a change in personnel at the pharmacy. So I decided to try again and they were awesome! Carmelita was the best!!! She went above and beyond!!!! Thank you Carmelita!!!!

I'm talking about common kids antibiotics. Then the customer service is horrible, the women are rude as hell!! It's just awful!!!!

Khadija Washington provided excellent customer service. She assisted me when no one else would in the bakery dept. Even though she stated it wasn't the dept she worked in. I had been waiting for an hour for assistance. She saw the frustration and even said I know you've been waiting a long time I will help you! She should receive some reward for helping far and beyond! She assisted me even when the manager onsite didn't offer any assistance!
