Its hard not to compare Rutter's to the Sheetz directly across the street. I'm actually amazed that this place stays in business - the place is older, with the same price of gas, less selection and lousy food.

Update: I've since had several food items from Rutters and everything was very good here. In fact I now prefer most food items at Rutters over any other gas station. The pot pie is good, the soups are good and they even have pork and sour krout which is pretty darn good. I've had a few sandwiches which were also good.

Can't say much about this location other than that. It's definately dated in comparison to the SHEETZ across the street. I heard the food was decent here. The other review bashing the SHEETZ seems more like a poor attempt to draw customers to Rutters. The food at SHEETZ is good! I eat their often enough amd have never been sick. It boils down to preference. Staff is always friendly here. I do recommend trying tge chocolate milk though.

I have always loved Rutter's, but will certainly NEVER return to this location. Last Saturday night/Sunday morning(July 14-15, 2018), between 3 AM and 3:30, no one could get service. I simply wanted to put $20 cash into the tank. I had my $20 bill in my hand. The solo employee stared at me a couple times, locked eyes, but never at any point said hello, one moment please, etc; not a single word at all.
Upon arriving and getting in line, I waited OVER 20 MINUTES. I only did this out of curiosity on how long it would actually take to put $20 cash into a tank. At one point, the lady disappeared for 5-10 minutes in the back. When she returned, she told the guy who's sandwiches that she was making, that she couldn't find syrup. He said he didn't want it anyways, smh!! She was legit purposely trying to minimize sales.
Not only was I NEVER waited on (I finally gave up on seeing how long it would take after 20 minutes), but I'm fully confident that the lone employee was extremely happy to let the couple of us that were waiting, stand in agony. Maybe she was trying to make a point to the cameras that Rutter's needs to pay a sandwich person alongside the register worker overnight if they wish to compete with Sheetz and sell sandwiches late???
It takes the worst of the worst of the worst to get me to post a bad review. This is the second bad review that I EVER remember posting in my life. Rutter's Marietta is the ABSOLUTE FIRST WORST service that I have ever had in my life. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Sheetz..Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
