Such a hidden gem and in my neighborhood- concerts in the summer and boarding in the winter- what more could I ask for! Special events like the Mystery tour banked slalom!

Ruby Hill is a park on the south west side of Denver and is known for being one of the more steeper parks in the metro area. Climbing to the top of the hill will boast fantastic views of Downtown Denver and its amazing skyline. In the summer there is a dirt bike park where kids can bring their little BMX and mountain bikes and jump the man made hills. In the winter, Ruby Hill is known for sledding, and on sunny winter days the hills will be packed with kids sledding down the hill all day long. Also like many other parks in Denver, the entrance(s) have been blocked off to vehicular traffic in favor of a safer and more enjoyable environment for pedestrians and cyclists.

We went on a terribly windy day, but the kids still had a ton of fun. They all enjoyed the playsets, especially the ones you can spin on and the maze (of sorts). There are great views of Denver and the surrounding area as well. On one side was a huge bike park with ramps and jumps and on the other side was a snowboarding hill.

Ruby Hill is super fun to come to and walk around. The views of Denver from the top of the hill are spectacular! You can see Cherry Creek, Downtown, Glendale etc.
I came here a few months ago with some friends and went sledging down one of the really steep hills, and nearly broke my back, so that was pretty embarrassing, and painful!
Other than that, the park is lovely, and there's plenty of parking spots available.
One of the best times to visit Ruby Hill is during an evening sunset, it's so pretty!
Come and check this place out.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - Jupiter M.Asheville, NC8816Aug 23, 2022
A beautiful park with a great view of Denver! Would be a great place to do a photoshoot or a music video. Was there at sunset and played on the swings and some of the rest playground while waiting for a dinner reservation nearby.

Wow! I'm on a quest to visit every park in Denver, and so far Ruby Hill is my favorite new find. It's got a huge picnic area, playground, tons of green space for the dogs, and a nice little trail up the north hill. Many of our Denver parks are pretty flat, but a walk up and around Ruby Hill (hills, really!) provides a decent workout. I did two laps - up the trail, over to the playground area, down to the street and back around again) with plenty of stops for photos and just to enjoy the view - took about 40 minutes total. This one is worth a drive to enjoy!

This play area features a friendly dragon that actually spouts smoke from its nostrils every few minutes! The playground was built in 2011 and boasts 8 spinners, a large educational maze, and a bouncing ring toy. Situated on top of a tall hill, Ruby Hill Park features nice views. A large picnic area and restrooms are located a short walk from the play area.

Driving from KC was tough on my kiddo so we went searching for somewhere to stretch his legs for a bit yesterday and Ruby Hill was an amazing find. Multiple play areas all including different types of stimuli for learning children! The maze was by far our favorite. From the picnic and play area you can look around to see all of the Denver metro, mountains, and places within the park like a bmx park and ball fields! I have to give 3 stars because there was SO much large trash littered around the play area midday. Definitely needs better upkeep.
