Ross Dress for Less

Whenever I walk into this store, I walk right out. I don't like the store layout and the shelves are pretty empty if you ask me. The whole interior turns me off. Sorry Ross, but an updated store is needed here. Austell/Mableton residents deserve better!

Located in the Kohl's shopping plaza that sits at the corner of EW Connector and Austell Road, this Ross location is your standard Ross store.

The store hasn't seen an updated in a hot minute, but it goes with the known aesthetic that Ross's are known for. Another thing that did not escape this location is the ratio of women's to men's clothing. If you are a lady, you are SET! Fellas, be prepared for disappointment for the most part. They do have a decent offering of home goods, which is one reason I pop into Ross. This time was to look for a nice button-up shirt. I ended up buying a dog bowl instead of shirt, if that tells you anything about selection.

Service is hit and miss. The cashiers are always pleasant and efficient, but the folks on the floor are less than enthused to be asked for help.

Overall, I know what to expect at Ross and I am solid with what they have to offer, so I will certainly be back to this spot and other Ross locations when the need arises.

It's a typical Ross, they lack stock a lot of times. But that's the new norm thanks to covid. I will say that they have hired some good employees here over the last year. I find them more personable and how people who work in retail should be. Overall it's acceptable.

I've been to several Ross locations both in state and out of state. This by far, has to be the worst one I've ever been to. This Ross location is right next to Kohl's, but don't be deceived by the looks of it. It is ALWAYS busy and ALWAYS understaffed. If you only plan on buying one or two things in particular, don't bother going. You'll be in line waiting for 45 minutes. The line usually starts at the shoe section. The staff here are not particularly helpful as they don't have many people working to begin with and their inventory is a bit lacking most of the time. It's really a hit or mud with consistency of product. Sometimes you can find some great finds, sometimes you can't. If you're just looking to browse, sure, go for it. But if you are expecting your regular Ross experience, I do not recommend. At all. Just save yourself the trouble and go to the one further out.

Ross can meet your shopping needs. It has everything from clothing and shoes, to furniture and decorations. The shelves are stocked and waiting for you to stop in. You need new dishes no problem, your kid has out grown their clothes no problem, you need car Matts or seat covers no problem. Whatever you need with the exception of groceries can be found here. Pet toys and beds, rugs, bathroom accessories, and more.

If you've ever shopped at a Ross, you probably know what to expect (At least, you should). It can be a bit of a chaotic "free-for-all", but like I said, if you shop at Ross...!?

The staff at this location is usually pretty helpful and friendly and if you come with a Ross state of mind, you should be okay.

Most unorganized Ross store ever! Horribly messy . Very hard to shop at this location. Not a good selection of products and lower quality compared to other Ross's stores.
Avoid this location.

Never had an issue with any Ross I've been to. This one is no exception, though, I hate how the women's department significantly overshadows that of the men's.

I love a great deal so Ross is one of my favorite spots to go to. I have been to so many of these stores that i probably could tell you what aisle everything is located on. This Ross was not bad but the inventory is always low. I literally went to this Ross and went to another one 30 minutes away and it had way more items. Maybe it's because people snag up all the goodies so quickly they can't keep up with demand. Nonetheless the store is clean and everyone was very helpful. I will definitely come back to see what gems I can find. Maybe shopping in the middle of the week or maybe a Tuesday will yield a better return. The staff here was great so I will visit again. We all know how hard it is to find good customer service these days. So when you find good service you spread the word!

It was very clean and organized. I needed a few things for the house. They had shower curtains, baskets, lamps, welcome mats, kitchen towels and more. They also had the cutest house shoes, that were so soft inside but it wasn't in my size.

I would give a zero if that were possible. Bought a table there last Sunday. It was pouring rain and "security" would not let me use the cart to transport the table to my car, nor would he watch the table while I pulled car in by the door. Ended up carrying a heavy table and other bags in the rain. Table was damaged as well as my handbag since I could not tuck it under my jacket to protect it from the rain. I have called the corporate office to complain--though I doubt that will help. This is why I shop online--discount department stores cannot match the customer service you get by ordering online and having it shipped--and I don't mind paying extra for that service.
