Rose's Cafe

Haven't been to Roses in over 5 years but somehow it's gotten even better since then. Today Selena was out super server! Why do I call her that? Two reasons. She's awesome and she brought me a super sized pancake. They advertise that it hangs 2" over the plate. I doubted it like an idiot! See photo. Tammy The Tornado had the cheeseburger and it was fabulous too! Thank you Selena for being the super server that made our day/trip. We'll be back next time with an Alaskan appetite !

What a wonderful little diner. A huge plate of food and well cooked. The staff were so friendly and happy to share the history of the cafe.

The staff is friendly and food came out relatively quick. The portions were huge and reasonably priced for the area. My omelet was super watery for some reason. The omelet is folded with cheese in the center which was a bit overwhelming for me. Their sourdough bread taste like white toast to me. Their dishes don't really stand out for me but not a bad place to stop by if you're doing activities in Healy as Denali has limited restaurant choices so they are busy during summer season.

Rose's was one of our better Alaskan breakfasts. This tiny diner doesn't look like much, but the service and food were really good. The prices and portion sizes were even better! I had an insanely large egg sammy and the husband had a pancake bigger than his plate. Definitely worth stopping!

It was okay. Nothing to exciting. The eggs were over scrambled. No wow factor on the menu.

The omelets are really good. The homemade sour dough toast was awesome. Beware the pancakes are huge!!

The family was visiting from Texas so we had to stop here a few times throughout our stay in Healy. The service was absolutely wonderful, regardless of the big (sometimes 28 people) parties coming in all the time. The ladies did an excellent job and the food was delicious!! The homemade salsa is to die for and definitely a selling point. Food was a large serving, and well worth the price. And the homemade sourdough was delicious!! I would definitely encourage you to try this restaurant when you're in town visiting. We sure enjoyed our meals.

Dang - we didn't find this nugget of a breakfast place till our last day! So delicious! Even saw a moose with baby out behind!

This is a family run restaurant very close to The Denali park. Portions are very large at ample to share. They serve breakfast until closing at 2 pm. They have I door and outdoor seating. Come hungry and enjoy the down home eating experience.

Excellent breakfast spot, quite arguably the best French toast I've ever had. Service was great and the staff are very friendly. Everything was made fresh to order.
