Moving, yet again, to another new home has shown me how important finding a talented Massage Therapist [MT] is everywhere I go.

The universe brought me Rose DeNicola, an extremely talented MT in the massage science and art.

Yesterday, I arrived at Rose's office after experiencing an unpleasant scuffle with a tow truck operator in Rose's building's parking lot. He was attempting to enforce errant parkers from parking there who were not patrons of the two associated buildings.

His attitude, tone, and demeanor, for whatever reason, rubbed me the wrong way and I became upset. In hindsight, he triggered latent anger in me. In the moment, neither he or I handled it well.

I was met by Rose at her office door and she asked if something was wrong. I briefly related my experience to her, and she went out to talk to the tow truck driver with me. Through calm and considerate mediation, Rose was able to get the tow operator to apologize to me. I thanked the man and did my best to be calmer.

Throughout the encounter, Rose handled herself with aplomb, poise, and centeredness---I was so impressed.

Not only did Rose diffuse the entire situation, without judgment, she patiently and kindly spent a number of minutes sitting with me before my massage, listening to me share and offering her support.

Rose masterfully soothed my emotions and brought me into a safe place to receive what would be one of the best massages of my lifetime.

Armed with the knowledge from the event that just transpired, and because she bore witness to my process, Rose intuitively orchestrated the moves and strokes perfectly in tune with my needs.

With every joint Rose worked, through her pinpoint strength exactly where my muscles needed it, and as she honed in on places my emotions manifested in my body, I felt absolutely wonderful.

After decades of receiving world-class bodywork with hundreds of professional massages, I am well qualified to identify extraordinary healing talent.

The absolute best massages I've experienced in over 20 years of chronic illness have been with Rose. Most masseuses I've seen did pretty much the same basic massage every time, regardless of my current condition. Rose isn't like that. As an intuitive, therapeutic masseuse, she carefully listens to you describing your current situation, your aches and pains, how you've been since last seen, checking on your state of mind, then she goes on to give you a massage like you've never had! She knows just where it hurts and just how to heal it.

Rose is a very gifted and caring Healer. She uses essential oils specific to your needs; perhaps a Sacral Cranial Release that soothes any neck, shoulder or head ache or tension you have; always a soothing, gentle touch. Rose makes me feel so much better in no time. Every time.

I like the 1&1/2 hour session. An hour is too short, and 90 minutes is not too much either (I'm sensitive to touch, chronic pain). I highly recommend Rose for everyone, for any need. I've referred friends who've gone for stress, the more "typical" aches and pains of life, and they've all come back feeling great, and all are very pleased.

Rose will gently soothe, heal and mend you, body and soul. Oh, and did I say she is a really lovely person too?!? Awesome.

Rose is a highly skilled and seasoned practitioner. As a fellow massage therapist that is very discerning about who I see regularly, I give her my highest recommendation. Her work is deeply therapeutic--a flowing dance that targets specific acupressure points and soothes the nervous system.

My husband and I are massage enthusiasts as part of our self-care. We realized that due to the pandemic we hadn't been doing anything other than staying home, my husband working full-time from home and taking neighborhood walks. All wise and safe measures, but nothing that includes taking extra care of our minds and bodies during such stressful times.

So, I came here on Yelp looking for a mobile masseuse and found Rose. I very much liked what I read on here in the other reviews and on her website as well.

We started with my husband being treated and he said it was the best massage he has ever had. I had to check with him to make sure he wasn't exaggerating (because we have had lots of massages), and he was not! That is AMAZING! He was so happy. He said he didn't even realize how much stress was pent up in his muscles and what it felt like to truly be relaxed and stress and tension free in his body. He is going to be booking twice a month now, which I think is really wise.

I am booked for next week myself and really looking forward to it.

It's a pleasure and a treat that Rose is offering mobile services by coming directly to our home. She sets up outside (we have a garden, so it was lovely), both parties wear masks, and she asks clients to provide their own sheets and pillow case. All very Covid friendly and we felt perfectly safe, while still being able to have a massage at home, de-stress, feel amazing and meet our self-care needs during this pandemic time period and beyond.

Best massage I've ever received! Started with a chat about what's been going on with my body and health, and what I wanted to work on during our session - showed genuine interest and desire to personalize my massage - and did so with brilliance. With an incredibly healing energy and spot-on intuition, Rose was able to tune into, sync with, and work with my energy in ways I have not experienced in my life. Seems to have an amazing understanding of how to address and heal the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of her clients, and how to explain it in a way that makes sense as well. Perfect balance of deeper massage and lighter touch, sunk into a level of comfort and relaxation that far exceeded any prior massage experience. I highly recommend a massage with Rose! I find her to be so sweet, sincere, caring, and deeply present. She combines skill in a variety of modalities with intuition as she enters into my specific body dynamics. Thus she's able to keep feeling in and dancing with what is there, shifting, moving, often working quite deeply without triggering the muscle's automatic defenses. She said last time that she keeps asking my body's wisdom what it deeply needs. That's just what it feels like!
