Q:
Is there an outdoor space to eat or is it all inside?
A:
The entrance to the restaurant is inside the Hilton hotel. There weren't any tables I could see outside but the hotel has outdoor tables but not sure if they will service you there
Helen T.1 year agoQ:
Do you need to make reservations?
A:
Yes i would recommend them. Although you may be able to catch a seat at the bar.

Pros: Pizza was delicious. Super fresh, piping hot, delicious. Cesar salad was great. Cocktail refreshing and not too strong. The restaurant itself is gorgeous throughout. Plenty of cute instagrammy spots.
Cons: Service was ROUGH. It was a Tuesday night and it took an HOUR for our pizza to come. Our waiter was kind of rude/short with us. I'm not sure if they were understaffed that night or what but we seemed to be a bother to him. - 571254187/26/2023
Located in the C. Baldwin Hotel next to the Allen One building, Rosalie is an Italian restaurant with a beautiful interior.
The inside is very maximalist, and there are bright pink walls with embroidered pillows and sleek chairs. The design of the restaurant is really nice, and there is a large wine selection.
However, the food did not match up to the aesthetics of the area. For the main dish, I got the pepperoni pizza and margherita pizza. I also got the caesar salad, grilled broccoli, creamy polenta, and arancini.
The pizzas were standard and tasted like any other pizza out there and was nothing special. The caesar salad was too strong on the anchovy paste for me. The grilled broccoli was medium soft and had chili and was very lemony, and I enjoyed the flavor.
My favorite side was the creamy polenta, which was essentially mashed potatoes with mushrooms on top and was very creamy. The arancini were fried risotto balls with a side of pesto aiolo sauce.
The service was good, and the servers came to check on us quite a bit.
Overall, I think the inside is very pretty for pictures or Instagram, but the food is nothing special and tasted okay. - 539875036/16/2023
Incredible place! Actually located in the beautiful, artsy, eclectic, hip and trendy C. Baldwin hotel, this restaurant has EVERYTHING you need for a fun night out! A very retro - '60s setup, with vintage decor (music and film), furniture, and accents all around. If you're there long enough, which we were-about 2-1/2 hours, you'll definitely get 'lost' in this pleasant 'time-warp'! Love that this restaurant mirrors the same retro vibe as the hotel - and that's another review...
Our server, Tom Holland lookalike, Jeffrey, was personable and attentive, helping to make our night even more enjoyable. We began on a 'tapas roll', wanting to try everything - all kinds of appetizers: the Crispy Calamari, Margherita Pizza, Mushroom Pizza, Panna Cotta, cheese sticks (the largest and crunchiest I've ever seen!), meatballs, I'm sure there's something else I missed). However, even after all of that, we couldn't resist trying their dinner entrees and family sides: Caesar Salad, Cherry Tomatoes, Hanger Steak, pistachio/pine nut/Italian sausage Ravioli (they have a ravioli rotation), Rigatoni Pasta, chicken, and sides of the largest broccoli ever! The food was delicious! As for drinks, the non-alcoholic Cucumber Fresca sounded so appealing on a 100-degree Houston summer day, but I asked for mine 'spiked'-let's just say...GREAT IDEA. So cool, refreshing, and just the right amount of alcohol-not too much. Other drinks were great too!
We're so excited to return to this restaurant- a GREAT TIME - HIGHLY RECOMMEND! - 31556013115/25/2023Updated review

Went here for a dinner before a downtown event. Just going to throw up a simple review.
Good: Arancini, so good! Came out fast and hot.
Bad: Everyone's pizza was lukewarm and the cheese on the Italian salad was rubbery.
Ugly: Service was absolute garbage. The people who ordered their drinks last received their drinks first (10 min wait) and took an additional 10 minutes to get the rest of the party's drinks. He hardly checked on us and was super smug. Literally threw the check down with a 20% auto gratuity and ran off. Later told us he could not split the bill. It was only 6 people (3 couples) and an app, 2 cocktails, and pizza and salad each, not complex. I've been a server, the micros/aloha systems easily can get this done.
I work in the Allen center and I will never return and ensure my coworkers do not go here either.3/22/2020Previous reviewI work in the building right next to the C. Baldwin that houses Rosalie. From all the buzz and marketing around it, I really was expecting some great things from this place. Unfortunately it didn't even meet my expectations.
The ambiance is great. It is kind of hard to describe but it's kind of a blend of 50's antique, country chic. I think. Maybe I'm confused, but I liked it. The place is kind of small, not many tables.
The service has been hit or miss on my two visits. One time the server was no where to be found and the other visit they were always present and drinks filled.
The food is okay. This is where they fell flat on their face. The meatballs decent. The several salads my group tried okay. Pizza was good and about the only "good" deal on the menu. I understand it is downtown, but it is kind of a pricey.
Will I be back? Not on my own accord. I'm sure I'll be brought here on a work lunch in the near future. If things change, better or worse I'll update the review. - 4363447514/7/2023
Very cute spot inside of the C Baldwin hotel. It was giving very much Beverly Hills vibes. After checking in with the host I was taken to my booth. The decorations were so pretty that you could take nice pics/videos anywhere.
The menu was limited but still found something to try. My friend ordered the Arancini for appetizers & I ordered the Rigatoni and they both were soo delicious. Usually I'll have to take some pasta togo but I definitely finished this in one sitting as it wasn't a very large serving. I would return and have dinner there again. - 342771962/15/2023
The ambience is definitely instagram worthy! There were so many pretty details throughout the restaurant! This is a great place for birthdays, girls hangouts, any celebrations, or even date nights!
The service was great! Our host immediately greeted us, wished me a happy birthday, and quickly took us to our table! The waiter was also attentive and immediately let us change our order when we stated that we did not like one of the items. He also even gave me a complimentary birthday dessert! They also come sing happy birthday at your table for you!
Out of the items we ordered, the arancini and mushroom pizza were definitely my favorite! The Arancini was quite filling since it is basically a risotto stuffed cheese ball appetizer. We also ordered the basil pesto pasta and added chicken. The pasta was great, but unfortunately, we did not enjoy the chicken at all. The chicken was pink and tasted slightly undercooked, however, the waiter told us that they braise the chicken a certain way, which is what makes their chicken pink. He also confirmed that the chicken was fully cooked. It just wasn't for us though! But I would recommend getting the basil pesto pasta with mushrooms or some other veggies added instead of chicken. The mushroom pizza includes two different varieties of mushrooms to it was very flavorful! We also ordered the Yukon potatoes and dipped them in the basil sauce! YUMMM!
Since we went around Valentine's Day, they also had a rose flavored soft serve ice cream! The rose syrup was very light and elevated the vanilla ice cream nicely! This was a great complimentary birthday dessert! - 1931913253/7/2023
Decor and aesthetic of this place is simple and gorgeous. 5/5.
Came here for a bridal proposal and became a bridesmaid! The food is okay. I felt like it was too salty some bits and bland the next. 3.5/5.
I had the brunch special manicotti (? Spelling). That was not bad 4/5. My friend ordered an extra meat ball from her spaghetti and I thought that was too salty imo 2/5.
Margarita pizza was a 3.5/5. It was okay.
THE DRINKS. I forgot what I ordered but it was purple and sweet. It was subtle but strong. I loved that drink. 5/5.
Service was amazing. 5/5.
Overall, I would try this place again and maybe order something else. I liked the vibe but I have to be really craving pasta to come here. A strong 3.8/5, I'll round it to 4/5. - 2959353/4/2023
Overall, I'd definitely love to come back when I have more time.
We were headed to a show so we were on a time crunch. All the entrees take 15 minutes to come out. We did have to flag down our waitress each and everytime but I wouldn't take any points away for that because we put ourself on a clock.
The vibe was very cute, retro and girly. It was inside C Baldwin and they do validate for $8 valet.
I still dream of the risotto balls, that is an absolute must order.
The manicotti was also just divine.
My only note is I wish the burrata dish had a little more of the berry topping.
Would absolutely recommend!! - 1771942591/29/2023
Sometimes you just need a date night. I've been seeing this place pop up on my socials for some time. Decided to come by. It's in a hotel so we ended up street parking since the valet was a hot mess when we arrived. They do validate if you are needing to do it though.
We started with the crispy calamari. The breading didn't want to stay on it. It was a great taste but a bit rubbery.
My husband had a pesto with spaghetti. I literally couldn't get past how green it was. I get it was fresh. However, that was a bit much honestly. It was like eating a green crayon. His fish though he raved about it being great.
The spinach manicotti was a good portion. The clams with shells sounded great but they were sold out by 7pm.
Overall the service wasn't bad. But it also nothing to be amazed about. I honestly felt the hype wasn't worth the experience with some of the items we had. - Rickeal M.Houston, TX132175/22/2023Updated review
UPDATE: 5/19 ( Friday Date night)
We went on a different night a busier night...
EVERYTHING was again mediocre!
Service was not great, again!
Size portions are very small for the price.
IT'S OFFICIAL this place is not it.!5/5/2023Previous reviewMy ticket was $55 for 1 weak Salad, 1 glass of red wine, and 1 kid sized chef boyardee!
Cute restaurant with cute decor for pictures. But idk if we went on the wrong day or not but it was not great at all. Went for a birthday dinner and very slow service (looked like he was overwhelmed). Drinks were just okay, 1 had to get sent back.. the salad was old and nasty i sent out back for a cesar salad that was just okay....entrees took awhile to come out and was burned and cold. My $18 pasta was undercooked, kid sized, and very under whelemed.
