Although it took only two weeks to sell to the right buyers, it was about a one year process for us to decide if we really wanted to sell or not and when to do it. Ron was with us during the entire process, always calm, relaxed and patient with our decision making. Mike, his sales partner, is also a great person to work with and helped out as needed. My last point is that Ron did all of the showings and open houses himself, meeting all of the other agents and potential buyers. This really made for a personalized process and allowed us to get the real and up-to-date scoop as to how each showing and open house went and who the potential buyers were. My wife and I chose Mike as our buying agent for our first home purchase, after meeting him at the open house of a well appointed Noe Valley condo he represented. Right off the bat, Mike struck me as calm, sharp, non-pressurizing, and genuinely interested in helping us find the right house.

Over the ensuing 4 months, Mike showed all the time and patience in the world, showing us houses each weekend, contact selling agents, and passing us new listings and houses on the market. The first house we bidded on, we lost, and I admit that Mike gave us the right advice on the amount to bid. We chose to bid less, and sure enough, missed the mark.

So when we found the house that eventually became ours, we strategized closely on pricing with Mike (initially), then when we got into the bidding war, took his advice exactly. Per usual, his advice was right on and we won the house!

Importantly, at no stage of the buying process did we feel pressured, rushed, or 2nd priority- Mike seemed to always have a quick email or call reply, and we're learned a lot. As first time home buyers, this was very valuable to us, and I'll use him again for sure on our second house (although that will be a while!!).

My brother and I have known Ron ever since grade school, so when it came time to sell our parent's house, we turned to Ron and Mike. Not only did we think they would be the best choice, but another friend had also used Ron and Mike and had great things to say about their professionalism and attention to detail.

The first step was getting the broker price opinion and figuring our when would be the best time to sell the house. Both Ron and Mike were prepared with a nicely packaged folder and report about their marketing program, recent sales price and market condition for our area and San Francisco in general.

Since this was our parents old house, it needed fixing up, and we were confident we could rely on Ron's advice as to what really needed to be updated and repaired in order to sell the house at top value. We also needed recommendation of vendors and contractors to use to update the house and were very pleased with the referrals that Ron provided. Not only did he provide referrals, but since my brother and I did not live in the City, he arranged to have the stager, painter, floor guy, and gardener come by when I was not available.

Also, I've bought and sold my own home before, but never did I encounter the kind of customer service that Ron and Mike provided, as they personally were there to show the home to every perspective buyer so they were right there to answer any potential question the buyers had.

The end result was that we had multiple offers and needless to say, the home sold over asking price. I don't think we would have had as exceedingly positive results without using Ron and Mike as our realty professionals. I highly recommend this team from Hill & Co. if you are considering selling your San Francisco home.

Buying a home in San Francisco is not an easy task. You have to be on the ball, and ready to move. Mike was always prepared. He helped us navigate the SF real estate market for over six months until we found the perfect home. He was patient, responsive and efficient. And, in the rare circumstance he wasn't available, Ron stepped up to the plate and was always up to speed. These two are a great duo.
