Rogers Diesel Electric

I used to be a big fan of Rogers Electric. I sent people there for years and did some work business with him as well as my personal boat stuff.

But after he worked on my pontoon boat in June of 2013 on a Friday, he screwed me. I understand that he bumped another project he was working on out of the way to take care of me, but cheating someone is not acceptable. If you want to charge an expediting fee for bumping in line then tell me that. Instead I was charged for a alternator rebuild and two batteries and some diagnostic time to the tune of around $750. Then on Sat morning before I launched my rig, I was in the motor compartment I looked at the alternator and top of the motor and found no dirt or dust wiped off. Got a closer look with a mirror and flashlight and found that the alternator was never removed. And as a mechanic, and builder of motors for 25 years, I can tell that when a black painted alternator had NO dirt wiped off at all! That's a tell sign.

I was tempted to go and see him, but that would likely no turn out god for either of us ( I don't like being arrested for beating someone down ). All I know is just when you think you can trust someone........BAM! Guess again.
