    • Q:

If I don't want to see the show do I still need to pay for a cover entrance/ticket?

      A:

The shows are upstairs. The first floor is the brewery so no cover charge entrance /ticket if you're only having drinks at the brewery.

I love the atmosphere! Absolutely the best staff. Kevin, the manager is amazing. He always makes us feel welcome.
This is a super cool space, with a lot of history.
They have a pretty good list of craft beer, and they make some amazing cocktails.
Great place to just hang out.

      (From March, 2022)

Known for their collaboration with music artists on developing signature brews (hence the name), i knew I had to stop here for a couple pints. After finishing my stop at Hattricks, I took the nearly 2 mile walk over to the Ybor City area since this location was on my list. Heard of them since they partnered with 311 to produce their own brand of beers. As many of you know, 311 is my favorite band so it's a no brainer I would check this place out.

The inside looks like a larger merchandise tent at a concert venue but cleaner with the scent of cocktail herbs and handcrafted beer. Beer selection had about 15 to choose from. I started with the amber rock lager; something light and refreshing which it proved to be. I finished with the E Z street pale ale, went down smooth with a nice balance of hops. Also picked up a couple 4 packs of 311 signature tall cans cause why not?

In addition to beer, they also have awesome handcrafted cocktails such as the coconut mojito and the espresso martini. The bartenders a nice and easy to chat with. One of them didn't know who Paul McCartney was though so I had to roast him a bit but he took it like a champ.

Definitely a must-visit should you be in this area!

What a great little venue for intimate concerts.

As I age, I really don't enjoy the massive concert venues anymore. I'd much prefer the smaller ones.

      This place is just right.

Downstairs is their bar and brewery where you can select from a menu of drinks such as The Dead Heminway. (We really love the name...LOL)

The event area upstairs also has a bar with beer and more of a limited drink menu.

There is no food at this establishment but you can order a pizza to be delivered. They have a QR code to scan on the tables downstairs.

Definitely eat before you come for an event.

We enjoyed exploring downtown Ybor after the concert was over.

Bathrooms are assigned Men/Women and are located on the bottom floor.

You take the stairs up to the second floor for events, or there is an elevator for those who need it.

They are across the street from a public parking lot. Download Park Mobile and it will make parking easy. If you run out of time you can add more time using your phone without having to go back to the parking lot. WORTH IT!

This place just never ceases to amaze! Tonight we tried the Mezcalita cocktail and we're blown away. Friendly mixologists, chill atmosphere, and very unique cocktails. Start your night at Ybor at this spot.p

Stopped in for a drink late last night. Really great bar setup and service quality was top-tier. The drinks were all great as well especially this coconut mojito they had on special and their Intermission espresso martini was on-point. Prices were fair too.

Would definitely go back and recommend if you are looking for more of a cocktail bar in Ybor and not something so dive-y like the rest of the area.

It's a pretty nice place. It's a little bit away from all the chaos of Ybor but it's still right there around the corner. It's a good place to get away and get some good drinks. I must say their cocktails are truly quite good.

Their beers are ok. They have a lot of them so it's hard to gage the quality of all of them in a day.

It's also an event space for concerts. They don't always seem to have converts or gigs here so you really have to pay attention to their schedule.

When you walk into Rock Brothers you wouldn't not immediately think brewery. At all. It looks like a regular bar in a cool old building in Ybor City. Though it is a brewery they do offer a full bar and have several unusual/modern drink options available to you. The kind that require a little more knowledge from their bartenders than simply pouring a drink, like how to infuse flavors or use smoke. It is fun to watch them while making those drinks for people.

We have been here a couple times as they are very close to Cigar City Cider & Mead (one of my favorites) as well as being in the Tampa Bay Ale Trail book that Ben completes every year.

So far, we have tried Hootie's Home Grown Ale, 311 Beautiful Disaster, Dark Brush Imperial Stout By Umphrey's McGee, 311 Amber Ale, Beer Can Island Honey Blonde and 311 "I'll Be Here Awhile" Honey Apricot Belgian Wit.

The one thing I love about bartenders is their care for their craft and how they treat each drink like an art. I want to give a huge shout out and appreciation to Hilary. All I said was that I loved mezcal and this girl perfected the best mezcalita I've had with the right amount of smoke and spice. Not only did she take her time in curating this cocktail, but she also said it was on the house!! I was super thankful and realized how much of a great establishment a bar/brewery is with personal and hard working bartender service! 11/10 recommend coming here to try out their mezcalita, along with their other amazing drinks. Thank you again Hilary!

The perfect stop on our first night in Tampa! When you walk in you are greeted by high ceilings, artwork on the wall, and friendly bartenders. Although this is a brewery, they have a full bar and the bartenders will make you a custom cocktail based on what you like.

I tried a few sips of their beer, but the cocktails made by our amazing bartender Kevin was where it was at! I told him I liked spicy tequila drinks and he made me an Old-Fashioned inspired cocktail with tequila instead of bourbon and chocolate bitters. It was a game changer. We were the only ones at the bar at the time so we had a blast hanging out with Kevin. For the next drink, I asked for something with bourbon and citrus, so he made me a margarita with bourbon instead of tequila.. genius... I was blown away by Kevin's creativity and knowledge of the cocktails.

There was a lot for parking right across the street and there's a lot of great places to walk around once you are there.

I haven't been out and about a lot during covid, so this was a dream experience for one of my first times back at a bar.

Margarita with bourbon instead... unexpectedly delicious

My fiance and I frequent Rock Brothers for their craft cocktails and down to earth environment. We live 2 blocks away and have become well acquainted with the staff there.

Rock Brothers has a very speakeasy vibe with eclectic artwork and an open concept feel. They have an upstairs concert venue that is just now being opened back up to the public. Everytime we come into this space, we thoroughly enjoy ourselves.

My fiance tends to order the beers, whereas I give the bartenders the freedom to make me something of their liking. I love Moscow mules and theres is to die for. I've had martinis there, which are also delicious!

If you are looking for a cool and hip place in Ybor city, Rock Brothers is your place!
