Eve was working very hard Saturday Feb 3, 2018.Woking 3 registers at a time but huge line of customers waiting to be help. Management needs to use more of their knowledge to provide with good service, acknowledging more employees work flow to run smooth and consistent. Location should not matter good service should be provided.

I came to drop off a new prescription to this pharmacy because I was told the day before by the pharmacy over the phone that I had to bring the prescription in. The lady attending me said she couldnt accept the prescription because the doctor didn't specify the quantity. It clearly said 2 pills a day for 7 days, I said, so that's 14 pills. She said the doctor has to write it. I asked her if she can call the doctor but she refused. She said I can have the doctor fax it in. So I just went to CVS and they filled my prescription with no problem.

Almost any store of restaurant in the Kenneth Han Plaza (Watts) starts at a 4 because of the horrible location. It's not very safe, and the service is pretty sub par. The rating can go up if there is something truly spectacular, but this Rite Aid isn't spectacular at all.
The pharmacy is horrible slow, medications takes days to get filled, unlike some CVS's where meds can be filled within 15 minutes.
They have all the other usual stuff, drinks, junk food, supplies, but things are a bit overpriced, probably to make up for shoplifting which is rampant in this area.
They do have good ice cream though! However it takes a while to locate someone to serve it.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Valerie L.Richland, MO061Aug 11, 2020
I have no complains on the store itself its always stocked with everything and the workers are helpful and very friendly but the ice cream at the ice cream counter os so gross its almost like a powder form i dont understand why thrifty/rite aide ice cream was always so good now its really not even like ice cream very disappointing

This Rite Aid on Wilmington and 120th/Imperial is the worse, everytime I go there to purchase something they never ever have it. The pharmacy is about the only one that has what you need most of the time. And don't forget out the ice cream parlor they are forever out of service, and when they are open they may have two or three favorites if that many. Just because of the area it's located in, should be all the right reason to have the items that are needed to make the revenue continue to re recycle, and the neighborhood happy! #staystocked&ready

Thank you to all the people
In the Pharmacy for fixing an issue that another Rite Aid created. They could have sent me away and made me go back to my doctor but instead they went above and beyond to fix the prescription and get my mom her much needed meds! Thank you again!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 12, 2014Updated review
Rite aide has the best ice cream. Yummy.. I had a scoop on a cone of circus cookie ice cream. I went to my car and waited for my daughter to finish shopping. Then I decided after finishing up that scoop, to ease on back in the store to get a scoop on a cone of birthday cake. I am satisfied now...yummy

I'm starting to believe that Rite Aid's new mantra is: "We don't have any", and "I don't know when it will come in." Yesterday I dropped off my Rx at this location so that they could do all that they had to do to fill it. I am aware that with controlled substances there is to be extra measure to ensure proper dispensing of such.
Background: I have Posterior Tibial Tendon Disorder on my left foot and my specially made braces is evident to all who look. I also have a torn miniscus and severe arthritis on my left foot, but you can't see the brace I must wear for that. And finally I suffer from Spinal Stenosis. Pain has become my permanent companion.
When I moved to LA I started taking my Rx to this facility and stopped because of angry customers loudly voicing their disgust over services not rendered. So I changed my store to another location and was lied to by the pharmacist on two different occasions regarding my pain medications. In that case I had to report the incident to the agency who regulates pharmacists and submit a complain
I didn't want to deal with the other pharmacist again because I wanted no more excuses I shifted gears to see how this facility handled the situation.
I walked in yesterday, handed them my Rx and my drivers license for identification and verification; if need be from my doctor's office. I did this so that they could during regular business hours they would have access to my doctor.
Today at 9:44 am, I called this pharmacy and the phone was picked up by a technician by the name of MaryLou. I asked her the eta on my prescription so that I could pick up that medication there after I picked up the other medication from the other Rite Aid pharmacy and her response was: "We don't have any." I asked her: "When will you have it?" "In about a week because it has to come from a different place, it's a special order." I asked her it that meant that I would have to spend a week with my pains. Then she said: "You can always pick up your prescription and try another pharmacy." Needless to say I was five shades of pissed off.
I was in the middle of looking on the internet for the nearest CVS to transfer all of my thirteen different medications when I received a text at 9:58 am letting me know that my prescription was ready for pick up. Fourteen minutes from my call and discussion with MaryLou the pharmacist filled in my medication.
I don't know if all of Rite Aid's pharmacy department got the same memo regarding their new mantra's, but it's really getting old. If they don't want to deal with certain clientele then they shouldn't be in the neighborhood. i never had a problem with Rite Aid when I lived anywhere other than LA and I depend on their prescription management program to inform me that my automatic prescriptions are filled or if I need to refill one. But, Really?
I consider that profiling.
I believe that email that might have been sent to pharmacy technicians, it such exists, should be permanently deleted and a new one issued.

Waited by the register for over 10 minutes for the manager to come by for an approval. Ten minutes just for this guy to check this button or whatnot so my receipt will print!! Honestly was the ultimate waste of my time and I had places to be too!
The inefficiency of the manager or perhaps the PA system is bafflingHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
