Been going here for 5+ years and have never had a bad experience.
Staff is always super friendly and the pharmacist Allison is wonderful.
Would recommend to anyone!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ashleigh K.Denver, CO580102319Nov 20, 2016
I am going to start this review by saying that I am a loyal Rite Aid customer. I started choosing this pharmacy when I lived in Massachusetts and as well through my college years in New Hampshire.
I favor Rite Aid because of their customer service and great deals. However, this pharmacy is MISERABLE, why you ask? Because of the people behind the desk. I am understanding that everyone has a bad day but when ALLISON was rude to me for no reason while I provided my documentation for my medicine I was APPALLED. She was zero help and even though this Rite Aid is closer to where I live, I will be going to the Peachtree Battle location from here on out because it is cleaner, friendlier, and less miserable.
I could go on forever about Allison but I will keep it at this. This pharmacy was NOT helpful.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Zewditu D.Atlanta, GA46914041617May 7, 2018
This is the closest drug store to my home, but i rarely go. Funny as I used to go to Rite Aid all the time when I lived out of state. I'm sure the store is likely similarly priced to CVS or Walgreens when it comes to regular prices. Though, i think perhaps the other stores have some better sales for things I need. Also, I have found that frequently they don't always have the items in stock that are on sale! It must be a pretty small store in their "fleet." The store may not be as inviting for some as their is a homeless presence on the property (in the parking lot).

While I do agree that the chip reader doesn't always work, I don't want to take it out on the store. I'd rather take it out on the idiots who came up with the entire chip reader concept (but that's a whole other review.)
The staff is apologetic when the chip reader never works. Plus Security is always visible which is encouraging with all of the craziness that lives on Ponce. Pharmacy staff is great.
While I agree with some people on the Pharmacy being closed for lunch, it is from 2:00 to 2:30 (not during most people's lunch hour), so I'd like to thank the pharmacy staff for waiting so long to go to lunch!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Randi S.Boca Raton, FL9281Dec 15, 2016
Allison Budnick has been our pharmacist at this location for years. I cannot say enough nice things about her and how she cares for her customers. We have had several times where we need her advice or need her to rush something for our family and she always goes above and beyond. At the holidays I wanted to take the time to thank Allison for such a great job. Thank you and we appreciate everything you do!

SO much better!
Hooray! They've waxed the floors, spaced out the aisles, and now keep the shelves better stocked! They almost always have a plethora of 'buy one get one free" stickers in the cosmetics aisle. I have more mascara than I know what to do with at this point.
The cashiers lately are a motley crew: sometimes I get the cell phone chatter/texter, occasionally the ultra efficient cosmetic counter associate, sometimes the guy I'm embarrassed to buy Tampax from, and sometimes the spacey girl that stares at me while I browse around--but they're a nice bunch and I wouldn't have it any other way.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 10Oh no 0Apr 22, 2008Previous reviewEckerd is now Rite Aid. Apparently the change over is "to better serve [their] customers." It's a hop step and a jump from my place, and it seems to be less expensive than the Highland's CVS, so I sometimes pop in for the essentials.
The store hours are ridiculous. They close at about 10 every night, sometimes earlier--make that OFTEN earlier. The store is cramped crowded, and really dirty. Also I think they get last dibs on the merchandise or something. Like, if there's some sort of drugstore drawing of straws, I'm pretty darned sure they're getting the short one. The displays are outdated and the nail polish colors are slim pickings. All the registers have little ripped pieces of cardboard that say "no cash back" or "no credit transactions" or something of that sort on them. I usually check out at the photo lab area. Last time I went, the cashier dropped all my stuff and exclaimed, "S**T!....uh, I mean, sorry?" Now I'm not one to complain about fleeting expletives, goodness knows they're some of my favorite words. But with his stained, half untucked shirt, it just seemed like they could give me a touch more effort. You know, for the children. :) - Jada G.Atlanta, GA77287292Jan 9, 2011
Yeah. I really don't like this store. They have a blockbuster movie kiosk outside. I guess that is cool and convenient.
But the store is small and nasty-feeling. Really cramped. Dingy. Old. Can't find the right word, so I'll move on.
The lady behind the counter was too busy on a personal phone call to assist me with locating the tissue.
All in all, I'll stick with the CVS up the blockHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Steven P.San Francisco, CA091May 16, 2019

I just had a great experience this morning. It was a run of the mill, "oh no the toilet is clogged" kind of errand, was out for a plunger. The lady running the store (I think her name was Trella ?? Her name for sure has two L's in it and I think her name began with "T") was so chipper & polite at work on a Sunday morning. I just really appreciated her demeanor, how she was sharp and ready for work & releasing a really positive presence in the store. It impacted me so I had to write. Cheers to you, lady, and thanks for the excellent guest experience !

Chip reader doesn't work at the cashier. This place sucks. Go elsewhere - there's plenty of pharmacies in the area.
