Not really a review, but why, when I search Frisco gay bars, this comes up as the first link?

Solid beer spot with decent bar food, but the happy hour is just $1 off everything with no food specials. It's a nice, quieter hangout spot but certainly not a destination I'd go out of my way to experience.

What an amazing hole in the wall and great recommendation by friends. Went here on a Saturday and totally loved the DJ. Played great Old School Hip Hop mixed in with new school hip hop! Love it that you can just walk in dressed as you are. Its a late crowd that enjoys dancing, and is laid back!

Just stopped in for a beer post-Run of the Irish 5k. The ambiance was good - I had no idea that there was a pub tucked away behind Jasper's. Since I didn't have any food, I don't feel like I can give them a full pub review. But they certainly hit the mark as an A-Ok (the 3-star definition) pub to hang out with friends and a cold brew.

This place is rather quiet on Sunday afternoons. I'm fine with that since they have such a great selection of beers. There are other places nearby that get overly crowded so this is a good place to escape. Although they have decent food here, it isn't a place that parents bring their kids to which makes it an even better place to escape. Our bartender was so sweet and knew a lot about the beers they serve. This is one of the few places around town that serves Hoegaarden so we will be returning here often. There is a lot right outside which makes this a convenient place to stop in for a quick beer.

Went here a few times with friends and I find it super underrated!

Across the way, Henry's is taking a lot of business. We tried to go there for the national championship game but it was just too packed. We headed over to Ringo's and there was plenty of room! Plus, tons of TVs, no underage annoying kids, good food and drinks! Also, our waitress was super nice and attentive.

The only thing I would suggest is maybe some more daily drink specials like Henry's has. Love this place though!

Nothing wrong with ringos, it's like a much smaller scruffy duffies. I wish they had some sort of games like darts or billiards though.

Great spot! They have awesome weekly specials, however the Fish and Chips/Imported UK Brew night is where the money is. It's definitely a typical pub, however the 'real ticket' is whether the food and brew is better than average, and it certainly is. The only real bummer is the interior seating layout is small and can get overly crowded.

While drinking my way around DFW, I decided to revisit Ringo's Pub and it was pretty much how I remembered it the first time. LOUD!!!!

Why do these places have music so loud that it's completely impossible for people to have a conversation. Not only that, but because people have to shout to hear over the music and each other, in gets increasing louder.

With that said, it does have a good pub feel to it. I was there with one of my drinking buddies and we decided it was time to eat.

I forgot what he had but I went for one of my usual choices, fish and chips. It didn't take long to come out and was pretty good. The batter was just the right thickness, didn't fall off the fish, nice and crunchy, not soggy, and the fries were...well, fries!

There is a good beer selection but we did have to ask for glasses to go with our bottled beer. I can't imagine drinking Delirium Nocturnum out of a bottle :)

Taylor looked after us well and was always prompt with anything we may have needed.

Overall, nice place, we both enjoyed the food and beer selection, take the volume down from 11 so people can talk without screaming.

Don't waste your time. Nice place but food just marginal, and clueless staff. Not thinking will be open much longer, no one in there. They nickel and dime you for extra condiments. Careful.

We have been here now for at least two hours watching the "waitress" do absolutely nothing. We have not been acknowledged even once. All drinks we have had to retrieve ourselves from the bar. We have brought this to the attention of "management" and they asked "what would you like me to do?" Even after said conversation nothing. Have been coming here for years but won't be back. Would not recommend much better options in the area.

Ordered my meal.  15 minutes later was asked if I wanted anything.  Reordered my meal.  Same gal.  No meal.  1/2 hour later walked to the cash register and asked for my check.  They did ask me for my ID (I'm 49), they walked away with it and brought back a release to sign so that they could keep the photo on file.  Come on?  I just wanted some sliders and a drink.

Came in with some coworkers this past weekend.  Asked for a Velvet Hammer but they were out so I asked for their second cheapest beer. Gave me a Budweiser, which I came to find was nowhere near the second cheapest anything. Getting that sense that the bartender was trying to take me for a ride, I purposely stored my receipt away.

I wake up the next morning and log on to check my account and wouldn't you know it, I was overcharged. I called and spoke to a lovely young girl who suggested that the amount was my drink plus tip... but not the full tip. About 92% of the tip. And we here in the 21st century know tips don't clear until the payment has posted completely. I took her explanation with the same amount of disbelief as I did the ice cold Budweiser the night before and found the review Alice T. posted a few months back. That's all I needed to see really.

This is the kind of bar where the best you can hope for is that you're charged correctly when paying your tab. I wasn't. If you find yourself stumbling into this place over a weekend, bring cash.

Even though this is not really my scene, they do have a large selection of beer. I am not a beer drinker, but I do drink lambic, and they have it here.

I would say this is a good place to go with friends after work. It does get a little crowded, but the crowd is always cool. The bathrooms are clean too.

Wow, the reviews on Ringo's are all over the place
Well I'm a fan and I've been here tons of times. I have to admit I live in the shops so that's almost a guaranteed star just to be within walking (stumbling) distance of this bar.
I much prefer Ringo over gingerman (round the corner) mainly because Ringo also has a wicked beer list (kudos for just adding a sour beer which Gingerman is still lacking).  However Ringo also has liquor so it wins out over gingerman just for variety.

Ringo does get crowded on the weekends and these a missing star on my review for less than stellar food. However this is a pseudo English pub and so the food is as such. No bad-not amazing (actually just like uk pub grub)
Whenever I've been there the service has been fine...what you'd expect in a crowded pub. On quieter week nights the service is of course better but as I said this gets packed on a weekend and the waitresses can only cover so much ground
I've never had any rude service here as is mentioned in the other reviews

If you follow Ringo on facebook you'll get to see all the bands and events they have. Halloween and st Patrick's are awesome...they close off the whole car park between scruffy Duffies and Ringo and have bands/Djs. Otherwise they will often have live (chill) music on their patio but I guess follow them to see when and what will be playing.

I visited Ringo's for the $1 Guinness special during the two weeks preceding St. Patrick's day. What a deal! I never ordered food because their limited menu was not appealing at all.
The staff is very friendly and quick to ask if you need a refill (work that tip baby!) They offer trivia on Tuesday nights and there was live music on Thursday, although I'm not sure that is an every Thursday thing.
The limited and pre mentioned poorly constructed menu did have a note on it claiming that they a building a new menu. I'll probably be back eventually and I'll fill you in on the menu improvements.

It's your typical pub TBH. Service can be hit or miss even on a weeknight. I used to hit up this place lots with my running buds in Plano for drinks after a social run. It's a nice low key hangout but I wouldn't make a night of it and come here to eat or anything. Typical bar food also. If you want food for real go to Scruffy's next door and try one of their pizzas or lemon pepper wings.

No wonder this place has such low reviews.

Came here NYE, we were overcharged for our table. Called the next day to dispute, talked to Manager Chase then GM Keith, both who said they couldn't do anything about it. You would think a person with a "General Manager" title could do something like reimburse as little as $15. But no, he was rude and unprofessional about it instead. Even though the drinks were fine and the service was good, I won't be supporting a business that has such despicable management with no respect for their customers.

Good place for bar food and beer. It can get loud, and it's pretty dark. Your eyes have to adjust when you walk in and out of the restrooms because the dining area is super dim whereas the restrooms are like daylight. Haha. The decor and everything inside reminds me of Scruffy Duffies...or maybe vice versa.

Burgers are good but a little greasy. Turkey panini was THE BOMB. I'd go with that!
