This place has unreal wings. Must try. Get the sauce that's not chipotle ranch. I forgot what it's called.

Ordered the avocado BLT
Literally 1/20th of an avo was smeared on one side of the toast.
Why are you selling BLTs for $15 claiming to have avo on them when they look like this?
Put huge slabs of avo on it! We won't be scared! Give us what we want!

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant's food and atmosphere. The server was very friendly and status outside. I got the gaucho with the parmesan fries and both were out of this world! The steak was so soft, it was easy to eat and so many flavours!

My girlfriend and I came to Riff's for a nice lunch date. We got seated promptly and the waiter who was also the bartender attended to our service almost immediately. I got a beer that I love as it was fruity and sweet. We ordered an eight piece chicken wing in sweet thai chili sauce. The flavoring was on point although I felt as if some pieces were lacking a bit of the sauce. I ordered the Southern Fried Chicken burger with fries and my girlfriend had ordered some Hangover burger.

Everything was going well up until the point when a new waitress brought out "our order" although it was nothing compared to what we ordered. Our original waiter came over and promised to get us the correct order so our food was brought out again for the second time. Also by this new waitress who clearly still needs training because even during the second time, she still didn't know what the dishes she brought out were. Quote from her, "I don't know what it is but its yours".

The food was however amazing. I usually almost never finish my fries but I did in this instance.

My boyfriend planned a little secret date and decided on this place on our way out towards Shelburne Falls. The lower level was completely full, and we were seated at the high tables close to the bar; the atmosphere was very nice. It was laidback yet sophisticated. I ordered the hangover helper burger, which was AMAZING. They had a list of what sounded like a decently sized collection of tasty craft beers. I definitely recommend it if you're a guacamole fan like me - it was a little messy to eat, but that's part of the full burger eating experience, right? I chose chips and salsa on the side which came free (the other free option is coleslaw) or you can order other sides, like fries, for a few more dollars. I was very impressed with the food, but a little disappointed with the service from my visit.

We didn't wait long for our food, however when it was brought out by a waitress who was different than the waiter who had taken our order, we quickly saw that neither of the dishes was what I or my boyfriend had ordered. Our original waiter checked in with us and was very understanding. He then went back to the kitchen to double check our orders with the cooks and assured us that our actual meals would be out soon, which I appreciated. When our actual food did come back to us by the same waitress, she stated the name of the wrong dish. Upon seeing my confused face she essentially told us that she didn't actually know what it was but that it was mine. Although I'm sure she was still new or undergoing training, it was a little unsettling to still not be sure if I received the correct meal or not.

Otherwise, it is a very cute restaurant with really good food! I would definitely come back for the same burger and maybe a beer next time.

This place should get their act together. After waiting to get seated we finally left and went somewhere else. One table outside was empty for 15 minutes and they keep saying that someone was ahead of us. Then was told that we could go inside as soon as they cleared the table but that never happened.
The food was good when we go there and get served.

This is my second visit to Riff's and it was not the same as the first (the first was amazing).

A business lunch hour appears no longer possible and there were not more than four tables and three people seated at the bar.

I ordered the same both visits (Avocado BLT with fries) the first visit:
Perfect in every way Sourdough bread and everything inside beyond my expectations. The fries were equally above expectations.

Second visit not so good:
Sourdough Rye (not Sourdough as on the menu or first visit and I don't care for Rye but not enough time to reorder).

Garlic Parmesan Fries.

Whatever you do, make sure you get them, they are amazing and some of the best garlic fries I've had outside of California. I had their Southern Deep Fried Chicken sandwich with these fries and it was easily one of the better chicken sandwiches I've had in a while.
Service is very friendly and while we came in for a late lunch, it was still quite busy so I imagine the patio outside must be crazy in the summertime. For what you get, the prices here are very reasonable and the portions are very generous.

Did you know that this space in the 80's was a laundromat?? I used to play video games in here. They did a great job on the renovation.

Got the fries and wings, both were very good. Great tap selection.

One star off, NOT DOG FRIENDLY, they even have an outside space for them...too bad.

Found this place randomly trying to find a place open on a Sunday in this area. Lots of places are closed in these small towns. This place was much better than I thought it would be. Sometimes a place with a large menu doesn't always live up to expectations. This place beat mine. Everything looked delicious and tasted great! You must start out with the fried Brussel sprouts. Yum! I had the lettuce Thai chicken wraps for my meal. Was huge and brought half home for the next day. A must try and a must visit place. Outdoor seating. Indoor high tops in the bar area and lots of tables. The staff was very attentive and friendly.
