Revival Social Club

Ate lunch here today. Great downtown location and atmosphere. I chose to eat outside, which wasn't great because of the sun and a pesky bee. Shade for the small tables and bug candles would be a nice touch.

Menu looked good and I had the ruben, which is one of my go to items to try at new places. A lot of potential things to mess up, but it was great. Definitely not canned dressing or sauerkraut and the corned beef was delicious. There are some staple items like burgers and salads, but also some modern twists like a duck confit sandwich and grilled watermelon.

Fast and friendly service. I'll come back and try dinner.

Great food and great service. Will go there atleast once a year. I always recommend them to everyone that is going into town and want to know where to go for food.

Love the Lobster fingers and General Tso's Cauliflower. (I do order the sauce on the side.)
The bartenders are always on point with their cocktails, too!
The atmosphere is cozy...dark and not too noisy. It's fun to sit at the bar or high tops for casual drinks and apps, or make a reservation if you want to have a full dinner. Menu is always seasonal and always fantastic!!

This is the worst expensive place I have ever been to.

First off it wasn't a busy night bur even so the service was extremely slow and the waitress acted like she didn't want to serve us. It took about 8 minutes for us to get drinks after we ordered them. That set the trend for the night, each and every food item we received was cold. It probably would have tasted great if it got out to us in a timely manor.

At one point we saw a bug crawling near the table on a wall. I got my phone light out to see what the heck it was and our server came up to the table while the spot light was on the bug. She made no effort to take care of it, I did kill it my self.

At the end of service it took incredibly long for us to be delivered the check and then AGAIN to have my credit card returned. That is only time the waitress turned on her charm.

Will never return.

It's difficult to rate a place when several diners have vastly different food experiences. It was our first time here and we were with a large group, around 16 people. I will say the service was excellent. Our server, Brenna, was friendly. I ordered soup and a Caesar salad with a chicken breast. I thought I was ordering a dinner size salad but never made that clear and Brenna put in a side salad. I will say it was a very generous side salad and along with the soup, I did not go home hungry! The signature sweet potato soup was excellent. A solid 4 all the way around for me. DH ordered a side Cesar salad and a burger. He really enjoyed the salad, as I did but he was not thrilled by the burger. He felt the meat was not well seasoned and relied on the toppings to make it flavorful. He said his meal was a 3.
The mains at this place are on the high side , price wise. Sides are $8-$10. There are only 2 'hand holds ' ( read sandwiches) which were a burger and a Rueben. About $16 or $17.
Salad choices were varied. Friends who had mains said the short rib was terrific and the arugula salad made a hit.
I think they did a great job with our large group but I think they need to add a few more menu items. If you don't like goat cheese, (like me) there wasn't a whole lot in the moderate price range.
I'd go back for a salad. I thought it was well prepared even though they forgot my pretzel croutons. When I asked for them I think they were just seasoned croutons. Nothing look like or tasted like pretzels. Again, wonderful service by Brenna.

My husband and I stopped here just passing through. What a cool place with some great food! Ordered lobster fries and general tso cauliflower followed by a burger and fries and Brussels sprout Caesar with chicken. All fantastic. One of the best Caesar salads I've ever had and I've traveled all over. And the croutons were just perfect.

Stopped in for a quick lunch app and tried the deviled eggs- very different horseradish mustard taste to them but it made the egg flavor pop! Made dinner reservations while we were there and glad we did- they were packed for dinner. The porchetta was on point! Crispy, salty, fatty, meaty so good! The deep fried lobster was a guilty pleasure with the drawn butter. Nicely decorated for christmas and super comfy bar chairs :) Also shout out to the bar tender she was very friendly and quick!

Hanging out in York for the weekend. Tried RSC for some small plates and a few cocktails. Old Fashion was amazing and wife had chardonnay. The service was impeccable, Thank You so much. The food was top notch and priced reasonably. Going back tonight for dinner!

Went for apps and drinks. Great ambiance, although it was on the warmer side. Everything we got was amazing! The corn beignets and deviled eggs and lobster fingers were amazing!
Drinks delicious!! Will be back to try an entree next time!!

Arrived in York in the midst of St Patricks Day celebrations. It was nutz outside but we sure were happy to end up at Revival Social Club for dinner. Great food and very nice staff. Bulgogi tacos with kim chee made me feel back at home in Honolulu. Mahalo for the aloha~

Holy wow! We came here for brunch after attending a dog rescue fundraiser and we were able to sit outside with our dog. The staff is thoughtful and engaging. The drinks are good although my second one looked nothing like my first exact same one and even our waiter was confused but was told by bartender it was exact same thing. It really wasn't but was still good.
The food. Epic. Truly epic. We had both the Huevos Rancheros and the chicken and waffle monte cristo. The chicken is so tender, the chorizo wonderful. The dishes were very generous. We also couldn't leave without trying their donuts. So so good. If you happen to be in York, PA - please give them a try. You won't be disappointed!
