Once more I have to applaud this company, Zac, & his qualified crew.
One year ago they had done kitchen cabinet work in my apartment & thru the wear of time it needed some adjustments. I called Zac & in 2 wks he shows up with his associates, they fix & improve the work and upon leaving, Zac says: "No Charge".
In NYC? C'mon! That's unheard of!!!
Zac and his company are 100% dependable, reliable, clean, neat, and super professional.
It is my pleasure to recognize and share with the consumer out there this hard work and customer satisfaction. Zac will never let you down!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aly D.New York, NY0107Jun 28, 2023
Could not recommend Zac LESS. So unprofessional, unhelpful, and work was worse than when we started. We hired Zac to transform a bookshelf into a laundry closet. All seemed to be going well at the beginning but through the process we learned that Zac had hired an independent contractor. This contractor seemed to know a lot of information, however, his finished project was not what was promised. Constant delays / disingenuous promised timing due to arriving late every day, very sloppy, little attention to details (see photos below)! We had so many issues we had to get a new contractor to solve them... the floors that were put in were not anchored so they moved a ton, none of our shelves fit flush with where they were supposed to (which was blamed on our apartment structure), and our new contractor told us the materials that were used were cheap (the wood was painted and it kept scratching off). When we would contact Zac for guidance he was not helpful at all and claimed he's not responsible after having us make final payment directly to the independent contractor.

I do not know where to start. Hired them in May 2021 and fired in June 2021. Terrible, worst bunch of incompetent bufoons that I ever dealt with. Zac was accomodating at first, but after signing a contract showed his true colors. Not coming for meetings, not following up, aggressively demanding more payments, unable to explained damages, mistakes after mistakes. Workers completely without any skills, project manager Nestor, just stopped answering calls, nowhere to be found. Do yourself a favor and don't even consider them, save money and aggrvation. I am initiating a litigation to recover damages.

I would NOT recommend this guys at all. They took two extra days more than first promised to finish the job.
The job after the removed my closet looks horrible. I contacted them back and they sent a guy over to take photos and they promised to fix but it's been months since this happened. The guy that came to take photos admitted was a horrible job.
The walls looks worse than before now they are all cracked, the floor is damaged, they didn't even finish the job at all. I have to hire someone else to come fix if they don't come back now.
Please do not waste your money with these guys !Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Monique L.Brooklyn, Brooklyn, NY04Jan 29, 2021
Loved that all the workers showed up in masks. And had the proper precautions in place. This the second project I've hired them for. I'm a bit particular and worry about everything!!!! After all is said and done I had nothing to worry about. We love the work Zac and team do. His team is meticulous and thoughtful. No complaints. Give them a shot... I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!!!

This man Zac Gelardin is a complete fraud. I used this business Renovation NYC in early 2016 for a different job.
1 year later he has deducted $279 with NO authorization using the exact same credit card details I gave him 13 months ago.
By no means use this company or his other company Blinds Productions, they are LINKED and both should be shut down.
Reading the other reviews I should not be surprised, he is a crook.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Fayyad R.New York, NY219Jan 10, 2018
Had to install a wall to separate a room in my apartment. I did some research, and settled on Renovation NYC. I didn't have much of an issue. The quote was fair, the work was straightforward, and everything was done pretty. I would use them again.

The professionals repaired a water stain on my dark wood stained media center to perfection. They were quick to come in and give an estimate on the work, and even quicker to remove, repair, and return the very large piece to my apartment. If the flawless work they performed on this piece is any indication of how they perform major renovation projects, I would recommend them to friends, and use them again on larger projects myself.
I would beware of Zac up charging each time he updates you on the project. This is a deceitful tactic. If I ever hire this company again I will be sure to agree on a price and get it in writing.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Anita R.Scarsdale, NY04Dec 7, 2015
I also would give him a ZERO. Stole money. He had my debit card # which he charged for work done in Feb. Then, he charged my card twice months later for a total of $4300. He didn't even do additional work. He just stole $4300. He admitted that it was a "mistake" but still hasn't paid me.
Calling the police.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
