I come here when I have nice clothes that need to be dry cleaned. Other stuff, goes to Zips where I pay $1.99 a piece and take the chance it will return sans button. However, I found myself on a Tuesday needing my suit cleaned by Thursday for a job interview. Going to Regal instead of Zips was like buying insurance for my suit and shirt. I paid $17 for the three pieces instead of the $6 I would have paid at Zips. But I got my suit back the next day clean and without any damage. Sometimes I need insurance for my clothes and it times like that, I will pay more for Regal.
I'm not usually one to write reviews, but after 14 months of going to this dry cleaners, I won't be going back in. This would have been ZERO stars if Yelp would allow it. They are incapable of removing stains. I just got back two jackets that looked the same as when they went in, and if you bring anything silk in, they will leave water stains on it. I took a dress two weeks ago to be cleaned. While removing a stain, they ripped the dress. No call to let me know, so I found out when I went in to pick it up. Told me to come back in a week. When I did they told me to try it on at home and let them know, saying that if I did not like it, we could work something out. After waiting another week, I finally got it- to "fix" it they simply cut the hole out, and created a folded horizontal hem line across the front . Not only did it look ridiculous, but they didn't alter the back, creating a lopsided dress. So when I went back to tell them this, I had to pick up other clothes I had dropped off the week before. I asked for a discount bc they ruined the $300 dress I had worn twice. I didn't want to pay for my jackets- it was $37. I ended up doing so bc they blocked the door so that I could not physically exit and threatened to call the police. I would have happily obliged, but needed to leave. I will be disputing the charge with my CC company. Anyone who would rather lose a loyal customer over $37 worth of.....actually I am not sure bc my clothes aren't even clean and will need to be taken somewhere else. Not a very smart business strategy. Beware.
They seemed to do a good job on my clothes, but they destroyed one of my shirts. (Destroyed is the appropriate word.) They offered to repay me for it with store credit. I'll use them again, because they are close to where I live. I'll update again once I've used the store credit to see how this pans out. Accidents can happen...once...
