Red Shirt Comics

I usually go to Midtown Comics to pick up my usual subscriptions, but I was around the way and decided to check this place out. Just by driving around the area, you can easily miss this spot because it's in between a couple of spas. The businesses around it kind of throw you off. Luckily, I was driving slow and happened to see it.

It's a small place. It wasn't busy -- I guess because it was raining. Upon entering, I saw one person working. There were tables set up and the person working -- who I found out that day is the owner -- was setting up for a Magic Card Tournament.

I ended up buying more than I needed to from there. While he was scanning my stuff, we just had a small chit chat. I just wanted to know how long that store's been around...all that good stuff. That's when I found out he was the owner. Great guy. He put us on to some other conventions and events at his store.

I recommend dropping by if you're around the way. Great store...and the owner is down to earth and pretty knowledgeable.

Quaint comic book shop that packs a lot of current issues. As I was in town already I decided to stop in to see if they had a certain paperback I've been hankering to buy. Alas, the shop didn't appear to carry much at all in trades. Limited on time I couldn't ask the attendant as he was very busy helping someone else.

The shop had various merch to buy such as shirts and figures but it's best to use and visit as your weekly comic book shop.

Came here a few times with my friend and browsed around. Has a large collection of comics for the size of the store as well as a few props and interesting merchandise. The store owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. The store is nicely located on the main street of portjeff so definitely check it out the next time you visit!

Overall I had a good experience at this location and would not mind stopping by for my comic book needs.
