The place is gone. I'm not sure when it closed but I was just in that shopping center last weekend and there's a for rent sign in the window and the place is clearly gone. I don't know if they've opened anywhere else but it doesn't seem like they have.

I was dying for some Chinese food near me and this was open so gave them a call, my mistake, i should have waited until things opened up again.
I'll just give you the rundown on the food.
I ordered scallion pancakes, nope, we don't have those right now.
Ok, can i have the hot and sour soup? No, we are sold out.
Veg spring roll? Nope
Egg roll? No
I should have cut my losses right there but nooo, not me, I guess suffering is my middle name.
What i did get was spicy cold sesame noodles, sweet and sour tofu, steamed dumplings, teriyaki chicken and chicken fried rice. The dumplings only had 4 to an order, not worth the price i paid. My sweet and sour tofu was not good, they sliced the tofu thin and fried the crap out of it so it was just too hard to be tasty.
I suppose you are thinking about the sesame noodles now, well, time to stop wondering, the chef must have lost a grip on the hot pepper or maybe it fell because these noodles were HOT, just hot, no flavor but burning your lips and making you sweat hot.
I'm not sure but perhaps the chef was out sick and someone else was doing the cooking yesterday.
$60.07 later and most of the food went into the garbage can.
I give this place one star because my son ate his teriyaki chicken and his fried rice but honestly, he also eats boiled hot dogs and those canned ravioli things.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Jan 10, 2016
The restaurant is set up like a diner with booths and tables. Simple decor and only two employees who served as hostesses and waitresses. They were very pleasant and hardworking. Three chefs in the open kitchen prepared meals for their busy take out orders and diners. The time for our orders to make it to the tables was quite slow, we probably waited 30 mins, but the food was tasty. We ordered the 25 dollar pick two of each option- two soups, two entrees and two appetizers - and also ordered an extra noodle dish. Did not find it to be overly seasoned or oily like other Chinese establishments. For the price and what it is- sit down, casual Asian food it's not bad. I would recommend it over others in the area.

it's been a while since i've gotten food here, but let me tell you when i do? it's always an event. everything smells divine, the eggplant and garlic sauce is lucious and silky, the cold sesame noodles (get them spicy! always get them spicy) are the real deal, no peanut noodle crap in there!

If you are looking for the best Pad Thai in Northport, look no further than Red Ginger. The serving size is huge and the food is super tasty and delicious. You can't go wrong with any of the appetizers as well. The scallion pancakes come with an amazing sauce and so do the dumplings. I was disappointed to learn that they are no longer serving lunch, as this used to be my go-to take out place while working.

We really like this place. Not your traditional Chinese take out place. Tastes healthier and fresher in my opinion. It's also nice that they can use tofu instead of meat and can take the sauce off of some items for gluten free. The veggie spring rolls are so good! It's a big place and is rarely busy.

Food was mediocre at best. The portions are small for what you are asked to pay for. This is not traditional Chinese Food. If you are expecting it to taste like traditional "real" takeout restaurants, you will be disappointed. We won't be returning.

Food was decent; portions were small for what I paid. I had the Chicken Teriyaki, and I liked the light yet flavorful sauce they put on it. If the price were a few dollars less, I think it would match the portion size.
