My sister and I were looking for new yoga places and I can tell you this is place was very relaxing. If you walk down under the church you will find the studio and it looks absolutely gorgeous. There isn't much classes in the schedule so it was pretty hard to find a time that would fit both my sister and I.
Our instructor, Dee is down to earth and patient with beginners like my sister and I. We did beginners hatha, it was a wonderful experience. Dew brought in her Tibet bowl in and it was very nice and spiritual.
If you're a beginner and you want to go back to the basic, definitely try out their beginner courses!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sandra P.Quincy, MA305Nov 20, 2017
I have been going to this place for a month now and I love it!
They have different classes depending on the day and the time, but I try to go to the ones that are for beginners and have some meditation.
I first went there to find a way to deal with some situations I have been dealing with and I can say that going to this place it's been very helpful. The meditation and yoga classes always make me feel great and the yoga instructors are always kind and with a great energy that is easy to feel in the room. Dee is great and I always go back home feeling at peace.
I definitely recommend this place!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Blue B.Quincy, MA9714May 4, 2017First to Review
This is a wonderful studio in Quincy Center. An added bonus for me is it's near Good Health (natural foods store), so I always combine the two when I come here.
The owner, Dee, is a very warm and welcoming lady. Her classes can be deceptively challenging. You leave fully stretched out and worked out and you didn't even notice because it's so well-paced.
The crowd is not your Lulu show-off crowd, just a bunch of nice local yogis, all age ranges and sizes and no posturing.
If you want a low-key, not hot yoga studio, where you will leave feeling relaxed and better, this is the place for you!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - John P.Braintree, MA233Jun 15, 2017
I have practiced yoga/Pilates with Dee many times over the past 10+ years. She is hands down my favorite instructor and I always leave her class feeling uplifted. "Feels Good :)" Namaste!
