The food was okay and the chicken vindaloo was not what we had hoped for. The "spicy" vindaloo was mild at best and the garlic naan was chewy. The waiter cleaned up our table before we were done. They charge extra for the rice since it doesn't come with the curry (which is not common if you've ordered Indian cuisine before anywhere else).

As a gourmand New Yorker, who travels to India too, this place rocks! - great food, great authentic spices, understated service that goes way beyond! Very Reasonable Prices! The 13 yr-old monster wanted Tikka Makni, but only said chicken Tikka, which was served beautifully and so tender & moist... They just gave her a whole new dish cooked with the sauce, no problem, (my mouth is watering just to remember!) I was provided a super Hot side portion of my Vindaloo sauce, I could add, to mix it to my exact heat preference! Its a small room with a warm ambiance, MUST RESERVE in advance, this place is packed! by true smart Parisians in the know...

Ravi is excellent! The food is wonderful. It's one of those places that would make a great introduction to Indian cuisine, and will also please the experienced connoisseur.
The servers are kind and helpful. They take pride in their restaurant and the food they are serving.
We will return again!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jolene O.Irvine, CA7164Aug 1, 2022
I'm not sure if I'm used to a different type of Indian food, but I was extremely disappointed with the food here. I ordered a chicken vindaloo, which is supposed to be spicy, but the curry was not spicy at all and had way too much cream. The naan and rice were quite expensive compared to other Indian restaurants I tried.
The service was also not good. The server mumbled a lot and seemed grumpy. He made a lot of comments or jokes that were not funny. My friends and I left the restaurant feeling very confused with the service and underwhelmed with the food.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Luke H.Cave Creek, AZ0354Jul 25, 2023
Outstanding. The Chicken tikka starter is some of the best Indian cuisine we have ever had. I'm not trying to be over the top. I'll eat anything and be happy. I was in Paris 2 weeks and came here several times. There is a lot of the alright food in Paris for over the top prices but this place was different and full of flavor. I would come here ever time in Paris. The tikka masala was good. Biryani rice was good. The butter chicken was great. Medium spice will leave you daring to try spicy. Spicy will get the sweat just about ready to start so unless you like hot things medium is perfect. The cheese naan is a great addition. You will walk away beyond satisfied. Sorry no pictures. Ate it too fast

Great Yelp reviews and a craving for Indian cuisine led me to 'Ravi' on a cold Parisian night.
Ravi is small, cozy and dimly lit, with the restaurant barely able to seat 20 people, and that would be pushing it.
The waiter was very professional and ran the entire dining room himself with another two gentleman running the kitchen. The decor and atmosphere throughout was very detailed and impressive from the wood trim on the walls to the tableware and candles. The Indian background music was also a nice touch and at the perfect volume level.
Chicken Tika Masala and Lamb Madras were the entrees we ordered, passing on any starters or naan on this night. Both dishes were delicious, hot, fresh and exploding with flavors. We were also served a large plate of basmati rice to accompany our dishes which in itself was tasty.
Unfortunately the extremely dim lighting made pictures hard to take and I wasn't able to get any good ones of the food. Despite my lack of pictures though, please trust me, this place is well worth a try!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Mino C.Cordova, Cordova, TN03Sep 19, 2022

In Paris for 3 days and found one of the best Indian restaurants. We went in on a Monday night around 8:00pm. The place seats about 40 people. The atmosphere was clean and casual. It had dim lighting, Indian music playing softly in the background and candle lit tables. We started off with a Kingfisher and vegetable samosas. The samosas were AMAZING!! WE ordered the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan and rice. The dishes were creamy and flavorful. I also ordered a mango lassi to go, which was of perfect consistency and tasty! The waiter was polite and professional. They served the cracker and chutney while we waited for our food. Overall best Indian place in Paris!
