Rancho Santa Fe Audiology

Two years since last review. My last hearing aid needed to be replaced because my hearing got worse and it no longer was sufficient. Fortunately, technology improved and bought new pair that were life changing. Not being able to hear versus hearing is huge. New aids have Bluetooth to my phone, rechargeable batteries, TV streaming, smart phone app, and they WORK!! Kudos to RSF Audiology.

I just love this place so much that I finally had to take the time to review it on Yelp. This is such a nice business with wonderful, caring people. They have taken fabulous care of me and my ears, since my journey with hearing aids began. Trinity Blitt is a talented , personable, and dedicated audiologist and Matthew(?) the super-nice front desk guy is a wizard at hearing aid tweaking and repair. They are located in downtown Rancho Santa Fe, and who doesn't enjoy visiting that enclave?!?

Sara took time from her busy schedule to give me an informed consultation on the best technology for my needs. She's very knowledgeable and well-versed in best practices. Highly recommend!

Dr. Woodruff has been my audiologist for nearly 25 years. Over that time I have received the best care imaginable. He understands the impact of a hearing loss and works hard to assure that my hearing aids are the best ones for me.
Recently I have had the opportunity to meet and be treated by his newer associates, Drs. Blitt and Mattson. They both have provided exceptional treatment.
And, I shouldn't forget to mention the assistance provided by Matthew in providing replacement parts and service for a damaged hearing aid and for wading through the paperwork to obtain my insurance-related discounts.
While I may have been able to save some dollars on less expensive hearing aids at a big-box store, they would not have come with the attention and care of RSF Audiology.

I had to come to my appointment with my double stroller and two small kids. They were so understanding and accommodating there was no long wait and they treated me amazingly.
The location was far for me coming from Oceanside but it wasn't hard to find. The parking lot seemed appropriate for the space and the staff was very nice. It's hard to find people that appreciate their jobs and take pride in what they do but that attitude was apparent here. Thank you!

I hate to say anything bad about any business and vitriol is sometimes not the best form of review, however I had a less than successful trip to this office. I would not use this place again and I urge everyone to so the same. Very dissapointing that they could not make their own objective analysis on my condition.

Dr. Mattson is a trustworthy and reliable audiologist. I originally met her when she was at another place of employment. She really was the only one whom I could depend on there as well. Hence, when she moved to her own practice, it was a "no brainer". I moved too.

I am a fairly new client to RSF Audiology. Having had difficulty with the single hearing device at a different facility,I sought out a Doctor that was approachable and was willing to listen to me and use her knowledge to correct the issues i was having.. I have an rare talent for loosing my hearing aids as well as a unique shaped ear canal. Sarah has been simply amazing. Sarah found me a device that was much more to my liking. Sarah is timely, helpful, and very knowledgeable. She is well connected in her field as I recently needed a ENT doctor and the one she recommended was equally as professional and enjoyable as Sarah. It is a pleasure to recommend Sarah and Matt too. He is the office manager and does an excellent job of communicating and coordinating my appointments. Finally I am fitted with a device that is not perceptible and works. ALL THE TIME. Thank you Sarah.. Your service and expertise is critical to my quality of life as I am sure it is for all of your patients.

Even though this is my first day wearing my new Lyric hearing aids, I am thrilled. I had not expected that since Lyric is based on analogue technology and my prior pair were digital. They provide a more natural sound yet they are clearer than my Costco Resound aids. RSF Audiology promised services beyond my expectations. I highly recommend Dr. Mattson. She is thorough, takes time to answer questions, and makes sure a new patient leaves armed with all the information needed to operate and get the most out of the hearing aids.

After a personal struggle transitioning from Analog Hearing-Aids to Digital (4 Years). I decided to give RSF Audiology a try. I was rewarded! I've missed out on a full hearing world (or at least what's left of my hearing) for a long time. Having Trinity and David test my hearing and make a quantitative recommendation, was the best thing I could've done for myself. They recommended the 'Oticon Dynamo' hearing-aid. I haven't gone back since. Trinity and David's professionalism, Matthew's pleasant and positive demeanor combine for a very positive, comfortable atmosphere. I'd highly recommend this office to anyone. Keep up the good work!
