I built an extension in my home and needed a concrete company to build the foundation, Ram Jack west did an excellent job, their price was good and the best work

Ram Jack came out to assess some leaking in our garage after the first company that came tried to sell us on a huge repair job. . As others have said, Ram Jack is a very honest company. The man who came was very thorough- he inspected inside and out, measured our floors to assess for settlement, and told us we didn't need to be concerned about our foundation and didn't need their services.

We had a couple other companies come as well since the first company had freaked us out and all the others agreed with Ram Jack that we were not in need of services. Ram Jack was definitely the most thorough and who I would call if I needed foundation work in the future!

We had a crack in our foundation and part of our house was sinking to the point of not being able to open three doors without a struggle. Ram Jack came out and assessed the situation, told us what needed to be done and gave us an estimate. We hired them for the project. They did all of the engineering and permit work and when all the paperwork was in place they came out and finished the job in less than one day! Their crew was hard working and professional. All of our doors now open and shut without a struggle. The peace of mind the stabilization brought was so worth the cost of the job and has added years to the life of the house.

We chose Ram Jack over the other bidders because of the strong recommendations from a long time friend who used Ram Jack for two large jobs over the past 15 years and from a carpenter friend who used them on one of his houses and thought RamJack is the best in the business. They raved about their experience - easy to work with, answered all questions and concerns, and their onsite workers were well trained, efficient and always on time.

Our job required several deep piles with sonotube caps to raise and stabilize a sagging edge of our deck in the SW Hills where the prior foundations rotated on the slope.

Our experience was as good as our friends experienced - although I'll add that as an engineer myself, I had several questions on the geotechnical report and the civil engineering design. The Ram Jack team, Carley, Kelsea, Adam and Korey, did a great job of hooking me up with the engineers and making sure the design lived up to expectations. Juan and German, the two work team leads were great and easy to work with.

If the need arises, we'll use them again!

This is the second time I have had them out to look at my house for excess settling, and an earthquake retrofit evaluation. I appreciate their honesty. This is a company I can trust to be honest. Cory did the evaluation for settling and said the house hasn't settled any more since they were out years ago, and is within an acceptable tolerance. He also explained my house is fully up to code as far earthquakes go, and to do anything further while it may help, would be very expensive, and it is probably better to have good earthquake insurance and let them take care of the damage in the event of a major earthquake. Doing anything more at this point with the foundation helical piles would be very expensive and basically protecting my deductible (and also preventing damage in the first place which might be worth it to someone with lots of disposable income)

Did not actually have work completed by Ram Jack, but can comment on all the other process. Prompt scheduling/and were on time. Stephen came out and gave us a very thorough quote. He took a lot of time explaining everything and was clearly very knowledgeable. We received multiple other estimates, and his was by FAR the most thorough and clear. I'm very grateful for his knowledge and help, and will absolutely use ram jack again if I need help. He also helped us handle a delicate situation in a buyer/seller house bid, so I give him major props for being so careful and professional in a potentially difficult situation.

I was nervous about having foundation work done on my 70 year old house but the professionalism and communication by the crew at Ram Jack eased all concerns on the first day. German Rojas Meza led the 3 person crew. He showed and explained the engineering report and walked me around the house while going over the blueprint. He patiently answered all my questions and addressed concerns. The work took two days (as expected) with the crew working very hard, focused on every task: installing a large steel support beam, excavating and installing seven 30' support posts, etc.. Impressive. German and crew were also respectful of any intrusion on my neighbors and sought permission before crossing on their property. They responsibly alerted me and repaired a broken plank on my deck damaged while moving heavy equipment. All work was completed in a timely manner. Before leaving the crew cleaned up the property and knocked on my door to thank me and take a final inspection walk. Excellent job. I highly recommend Ram Jack.

I cannot say enough about the honesty and integrity of Stephen Lambert with Ram Jack West. First he has the experience to back up his evaluation and I understand this process. Terra Firma is a good company and their bid was $20,000 to stabilize a corner of my foundation and were ready to start work.
Stephen came out with a precision instrument as the other company did and determined the amount of settling did not justify the same process that both companies use. In fact he said if it was him he would just wait.
He said he would keep records of the measurements and would be glad to come out in a year or any time I wanted to check since we had a base line to go from.
I was very impressed and happy to save the money until really necessary.

Seems like a great company but they had to reschedule an appointment I made a few weeks in advanced. Unfortunately the reschedule didn't work in my timeline and won't be able to work with them this time around.

They have great communication and seem to have their processes down.

Overall, if you can afford to wait 2-3 weeks for their estimator or aren't limited in time - I've heard only great things about the work they finish.

I am a Real Estate Broker in Portland Oregon. I have had Clients who have used RamJack for foundation work and they were very satisfied with not only the quality of work but the price.
Yesterday, I asked RamJack to look at a home in which I am the Listing Realtor. It is Sale Pending and the Buyer's Realtor asked a competitor to look at the crawl space as the General Inspector had mentioned there may be some slight undermining. That company's bid was $41,000.
I called RamJack and did not mention a competitor at all. The RamJack Technician went into the crawl space and reported to me "there is no problem I see." WOW! I TRUST RAMJACK!!! Thank you.
