Don't buy their fish unless you want ich and a pest snail infestation. All their tanks are disgustingly filthy. In fact, the entire store is trashed with every surface, product for sale and fish tank covered in filth. I will say, however, that they have a decent selection of aquarium products for sale at lower prices than other stores in town (albeit covered in a thick layer of filth).

I got a Corgi puppy from R & J's and within the first hour of me having her I began to notice she was sick. I took her to the vet and now she has to stay there for several days. I asked them to pay for the emergency medical costs since it was their fault, since they sold me a puppy they clearly knew was sick. I have never received worse customer service than at R & J's. The owner was demeaning and condescending and tried to blame the poor health of the corgi on my "lack of ability to care for her." They tried to get me to take her away from the vet and leave her at the store for care instead. Now last time I checked, part time employees and high school students do not have vet training and cannot properly care for a sick animal. She would have most certainly not made it. Instead of just owning up to part in the problem they tried to weasel out of it by offering to buy back the puppy, and then resell it to me "if" she made it after taking care of her at their store. If you want a puppy that is guaranteed to be healthy and properly cared for, DO NOT buy them here. You will not receive good service and the owner clearly has no care for her animals as she just sends them home without proper examinations. I would give them 0 stars if I could. PS there was a comment by the owner that suggested this happened more than once. And also they heavily violated their policy on the sale.

R&J's World of pets is an amazing place with amazing staff and lots of different animals. They always have different amounts animals all around the store. They are very clean when it comes to cleaning the store as you always see their staff making an effort to keep there store clean. They always have different dogs in which is very exciting!!! When they don't they always show you other animals you would be interested in and they also tell you about what animals are to come. They have done an outstanding job during covid season and even after and before it happened. They still kept a smile on there face during the devastating time. While being there I looked around and they allowed there dogs out to play in the back so they aren't in there cage all the time and they played with them as well while also making sure it's sanity and no poop or pee is on the store . Now as a review person you sit back and think about is this a shop I would shop at? Well I would definitely say yes!!! They have amazing prices which are low! So your not spending so much money and they have lots of supplies to offer!. Now the best part is the staff . They are so helpful all the time they will show you where everything is and they will help you get on the right track. They make sure all the animals they sell are healthy and up to date before they leave and they have amazing customer service skills. I definitely recommend going here!!!

Bought beagle for a cheap price along with toys and food. Dog had a pedigree and was still $300 cheaper than it would've been at stores like Pet Parade. Employees were knowledgeable and very friendly. Will be buying all accessories and food from them. Highly recommended.
