      Updated review

This review is strictly on service. I walked in and waited 30 minutes before anybody spoke to me after being seated. The waitress looked at the person to my left and to my right and took their orders and everything but just simply walk by me. I wish I could say I didn't feel some kind of way but being the only black person in there at the time and she kept continually walking by me I felt really bad about this situation. I did have a drink in there because I was very heated at the moment. But I will never go back to the establishment again because that experience was unacceptable. I'm sure they disagreed place and other people may enjoy it for whatever reason. But in essence it just made me feel like I took 50 years back.

Not a favorite spot or top choice. This was perhaps my third time here? See not even sure.

Ended up here today, 7/1/2019 because our first choice wasn't open for service today and we thought we'll be able to get faster service than the other options.

Well first off I notice there was a change to their menu.

I chose their veggie patty sandwich. It was made of cauliflower and quinoa. Side of fried okra. Everything wa room temperature so it was just blah..

You would think after having to wait my food would be hot. But no time to make complaints today.

The fried okra was unique. No batter, seemed to pan seared. I liked it...just wasn't hot (temperature).

Meal was $11.00 + tax and an automatic added 20% gratutiy.

Dont you just hate when the add it for groups? Sometimes the service doesn't warrant 20% tip. Today is different...but the principle or disadvantage of auto gratis is a lesser amount than what you may have tipped.

I'm quite sure at some point in time I'll be back.........

I've been to Rí Rá a few times to watch games and have drinks but never for dinner.

It's your classic Irish pub inside. They do have a small patio and that's exactly where we sat.

I ordered the Lamb burger ($14). It has a different name on the menu but it's the only lamb burger. I ordered it with fries. The burger was really good. The toppings pulled it together. The fries were good but they were not the hottest fries.

My partner ordered the Reuben with onion rings. I tried the onion rings and I was not impressed. The batter lacked flavor and that classic onion ring texture.

I'd definitely come back for dinner. It's a good solid pub for sure.

Dropped by for a snack on St Patty's weekend and ha great service and good apps - what more could you ask for from an Irish bar?

Server was friendly and accommodating and the food was solid:
      - wild wings- spicy, sweet, crispy and tender... all around solid wings
      - fries with curry sauce- both were great, I would suggest asking for the sauce on the side so the fries don't get soggy
      - fried pickles- spears instead of chips but good portion, light batter and good dipping sauce
      - lamb poutine - fries with lamb, curry sauce and cheese, was good but the lamb could have used a little more seasoning

Overall solid spot to drop by for an Irish fix when you're in midtown atl

      Probably won't come here again.

It is very loud here. The service was completely lacking too. I sat for about 15 minutes waiting for a server. Finally, I moved to the bar and ordered food.

      · Potato Pancakes - they were like two huge tater tots. If I knew, I would have ordered tots.

      · Potato leak soup- actually good! Came with some Irish bread that was amazing!!!

      · Mashed potatoes- taste boxed, yuck!

      ·Gin-A-tonic - very good.

      · Some kind of meat soup that my friend hardly touched - so not very good.

I have been to Ri Ra's like 4 times and every single time I am here there service goes down another level. The servers usually takes 40/50 minutes to get food on the table and the taste is not all that great either.
Came here for a team lunch at 12:30 with reservations and after a 45 mins wait couple of our team members had to leave around 1:15 because they had a meeting and food wasn't even there. I guess yesterday was my last time visitng Ri Ra and I am never coming back here.

You can find Rí Rá Irish Pub at 1080 Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30309 in Midtown. This is located on the back-side of the building in the corner of Crescent and 12th Street so it's a bit difficult to find if you haven't been there before. I believe you can use the same parking deck that also feeds RA Sushi and Mi Cocina on the opposite corner of the building (facing Peachtree) if you can't find free parking.

I met about a dozen friends at Rí Rá after an event - it was late afternoon and the pub was about half full. This is a really gorgeous pub done in the classic Irish style with high ceilings, beautiful woodwork and motifs to transport you to the Irish countryside. Even the exterior is very reminiscent of the traditional pub with wood panels and windows opening to the interior on two walls. Once inside there's an expansive great hall providing access to the large bar, and then side-galleries where you can experience a more intimate setting. It was love at first sight for me.

We basically downed multiple pints - I stuck with local craft while others hit pretty much everything offered. For snacks we ordered a few items that can be shared including calimari, the pub chips and several different types of chicken wings. I really enjoyed the hot "Volcanic" especially with an extra side for dipping. Yum.

The next time I'll make sure to order entrees but it just wasn't the right time. I love pub food and especially fish and chips so I'll make sure to at least have a bite to compare with the others (mostly lackluster fried tilapia instead of the appropriate cod or haddock) I've found in Atlanta.

Service was excellent with many small tables and groups of people and much scurrying to take care of all the different selections. Overall an awesome experience.

This was an after party drink stop. Feel the Irish within your veins with Guinness and may the party start. Place gets busy quick, so be sure that you get a table. The standing room option isn't bad either if that's what you choose. Boxing was on tv and also had a live musician playing a few throwbacks. Overall it was a good vibe.

Save yourself time and keep walking. If your looking for Great Food Service this place gives none.

      Highlights:

My spicy chicken sandwich was good.

      Disappointments:

waitress brings a pitcher of water so we can refill our own glasses while we wait 1.5 hours for food.

Having to split the checks - you have to remind them upfront so be on your toes because the waitress will be bothered if you wait at the end.

Also don't ask about the menu your bothering the waiter.

Last expect someone at your table to pass along pens and checks because the waitress doesn't have time.

Great Atmosphere, good food! Nowhere else better to be locally for St. Patrick's Day.
