Don't let old reviews keep you from this Motel 6! It's been renovated and, frankly, is the nicest Motel 6 I've ever stayed in! Spotlessly clean, inside the units and outside on the grounds. We stayed in unit 136 which was very big! Had microwave oven and a HUGE (by hotel standards) refrigerator! Check in was easy. The General Manager was the one that checked us in and out, and he was so friendly, accommodating and helpful! We will DEFINITELY stay here the next time we're in Vallejo!

There is even a little coffee shop on the premises. It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so we didn't get a chance to check it out, since we stayed on a Monday night, but will check it out next time we're in Vallejo!

1st floor is entirely too loud. The front desk refuses to let us switch rooms. There was also a roach in here yesterday along with flies. Front desk is extremely rude and claims they won't let us switch to a different room. This bed is also hurting my back. Let alone the shower doesn't get very hot. Ilene is working the front desk and thinks it's funny. Never again.

See the fly on the wall. I Tossed the roach in the trash so no I can't give you a photo to verify. That's just nasty.

I'd be more inclined to sleep in the car than to pay for a night. Here's a few things wrong
1: Told my girlfriend they didn't have any rooms available, they in fact did have plenty available online
2: The room we got was alright but pretty sure there was a cum stain on the bed next to ours
3: The Jacuzzi in the room didn't work.
4: Second time we stayed here the TRIPLE charged my girlfriends card so instead of $95 it was $786.92 so we got charged for a penthouse in the city instead of what this "quality" inn is, an overpriced pit.
Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

ADDITIONAL. the breakfast here is either cereal or waffles and yogurt.

If I could leave less than one star I would! I stayed there and was my hotel room was robbed on December 12th. I also was a guest and had a handicap placard, while staff parked in a handicap spot and was not handicapped, or had a handicap placard. I, a paying guest was told to park all the way down in the back parking lot where cars get broken into and walk all the way to the front end has now endured having emergency surgery and having the rest of my toe amputated as well as a nerve cut from foot due to "unnecessary, aggravated exposure". I can provide pictures. I also found out that the staff Raymond does not have a prosthetic leg and aside from that why should pay staff Park in a handicap parking without a placard and of all things lie about a disability?
Then my room was getting robbed while Richard was detaining me from giving me a room key because I locked myself out. He kept on insisting that I give him my name and room number in front of a tweaker in the lobby and it wouldn't do it so he went to the back office and I kept on clapping on the plexiglass window which he said I was bashing the window look on the cameras I was not bashing the window. I finally got so frustrated my head was tingling I told him I was going to have a seizure his response was"Go ahead". I finally got so aggravated I did throw my car keys and smack a Christmas ball and sat down and just started stopping and weeping it was at that point that the tweaker that was in the lobby went to the pool area I told Richard about it he did nothing when Richard finally gave me a room key the room key did not work it was flashing the red code that's when Richard said someone's in your room I ran to the pool area saw that my window had been open ran look in the window saw that my stuff had been stolen told Richard Richard told me "well climbing the window and open your door." Can you believe that shit? Staff expects me a paying guest to climb in my broken into window hotel room? I told him "no I do not work here, I am disabled I have a busted knee and six toes you climb in the window open my door." It was a nightmare and absolutely nightmare it almost seems like the whole thing was set up. The next day Louis v doll the manager he was a joke. He wouldn't come out of a meeting all morning three phone calls that were supposed to be sent to me from the front or denied access to my room Alexandria was the clerk on duty she then lied right to my face in front of one of the ladies that had called me and said "no calls came in for you."
So when the manager Louis Vidal finally comes out of a meeting he apparently was just eating breakfast and spitting it all over my friend and I while we were discussing the trauma that happened to me the night before. He didn't seem to want to listen to All of the horror that I went through and only compensated me one night for all of the BS that happened. As I was packing my stuff and leaving I saw a groundsman for the hotel cleaning up broken glass exactly from where I had to walk from in the parkin lot. I waited so long on this review because I didn't know what the results of what was going to happen with my foot were. I just have the surgery yesterday and my toe was completely amputated and they did have to in fact yank a nerve. The term is yank when it comes to a nerve because nerves are so strong that they have to pull on it and cut it at the tip the pain is horrific the trauma really is in my head of remembering everything that had to happen I am pursuing legal and I would expect that this review should really bring this to people's attention and make them think about their surroundings and where they choose to stay thank you for your time.

It's a clean, simi-comfortable stay on a budget if need be hotel. Don't come here if your looking for luxury or fancy bedding or more than cereal and waffle for breakfast.

I had book this stay because of a snafu with get my wood floors fix in my house and I wish I had waited till I knew for sure the project was going to running on time. You live, you learn!

      Good parts
Ammenties: pool, gym, ice machine, vending machines, laundry room
      Complimentary breakfast ,Good Pillows

Negative parts: Walls are too thin, Beds are a mix of stiff and soft. Price could be better

Only stay here out of necessity... ciao for now!

      DON'T STAY HERE!

This whole experience has made me truly realize what disappointment feels like and I'll probably never stay at another Quality Inn in my entire life... that's a little dramatic but warranted.

In short, please don't waste your time, money, or energy on this hotel. I could write a whole book on my experience over the course of staying at this hotel for 20 hours but I'm just going to quickly summarize the horrible experience for you.

Context, I booked this hotel for a full week due to traveling to Vallejo for work. I didn't last a full 24 hours due to the issues that arose, once I arrived. The very next morning, I immediately canceled my reservation and spent my remaining six days at the courtyard. A great place to stay!

My issues... upon arriving to the hotel, I immediately realized it wouldn't be the most luxurious stay but I was there there for work and it was only a week so it wasn't a big deal. Once I checked in and brought my belongings up to my room, that's when I realized a couple of issues that were unacceptable.

      1. My room door literally wouldn't lock.
      2. The bolt latch that adds additional support to the lock wasn't even screwed in all the way and was hanging off the wall.
      3. The toilet was corroded and needed to be replaced.
      4. There were other small things mainly in regards to cleanliness but those 3 were major.
      5. The "Hot Breakfast" Scam, the only hot item they have is Waffles, nothing else.

Initially, I only noticed the toilet seat and went down stairs to ask if it was possible to be replaced. The staff let me know, nothing could be done until the morning due to their maintenance person not being there. Fast forward about 2 hours later, I notice the issue with the door as it was late and I tried to lock the door but it wouldn't lock. I called downstairs to the front desk to notify them of this issues as now it's turned into a safety issue. The reply doesn't change and they state there is nothing they can do tonight. So I state, "so just to confirm you'd like me to sleep knowing my door doesn't lock and the bolt itself isn't even screwed in all the way." They reply and say "Sorry for the inconvenience, we'll have our maintenance person come first thing in the morning."

First thing I do is start researching other hotels close to me as I realize this might not be the most professional establishment just due to the lack of concern by staff. Upon reaching out to multiple close hotels, it's looking like I'll have to stick it out until the morning due to no opening in any nearby hotels.

Fast forward to the next morning, I wake up around 7am and I just wait to see if the maintenance man comes first thing in the morning as they promised. 9:30 am rolls and around and still no sign of maintenance, so I decide to go down to grab breakfast.

Please keep in mind, their hotel is labeled as having a "hot breakfast". As I walk into the breakfast area, all I see is waffles, cereal (2 choices), and yogurts as food options. I was in disbelief as they claim to serve a "hot breakfast" just because they're serving only waffles. Apparently they don't restock the breakfast area either once it's set, once a food option is gone, it's gone. I decide I'll grab breakfast, once I leave.

I get back to my room and still no sign of the maintenance man or anything being fixed or changed out. So I immediately, gathered my belonging, canceled my remaining days on the reservation and switched to the Courtyard Marriott and it was the best decision made.

All in all, Quality inn (Vallejo) isn't the most pleasant stay. So if you're visiting especially with family, I'd stay elsewhere unless you want to feel the same disappointment I did. Unacceptable doesn't even fathom the way I felt about this situation.

The front desk stored our luggage because I was going to a concert all day and my Cosmetics would be ruined from the Heat. Watch out, they put a $200 hold on your credit card .

think twice about booking a room at Quality inn in Vallejo . I had the worst experience. This hotel took $200 for deposit for damages. after calling a couple times, and wondering what happened to my refund, the receptionist said I was charged $125 for stained sheets. this was not true . The hotel never sent me anything saying I was being charged. The receptionist said my named showed up on the computer that I had stayed on the second floor , I told her no , I was on the first floor. so obviously something fishy was going on. When I asked her if I could record her , she hung up on me. 19 days later. I have not received any refund money. please be careful At this place and my advice is always take pictures when you leave a hotel room you stayed in. I am very upset because I was charged for damages I did not do!!

THIS PLACE HAS COCKROACHES!!! The room door looked like it had been busted in at some point and patched back together. I upgraded to a room with a jetted tub and there is no way to turn the jetts on. Even the staff couldn't figure out how to turn it on. And again, THIS PLACE HAS COCKROACHES!!!

I was looking up for a place to crash around Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. I stumbled upon this place in a third party app. The reason I book this hotel is mainly because its location right across the Six Flags Discovery Kingdom.

Upon arrival, the exterior of the hotel is kinda sketchy. Lobby was old and kinda dark. I think the management could use more lights that makes guests more welcome. After the check in process, (BEWARE) that you'll be ask for $200 SECURITY DEPOSIT! In the app there is no saying that you will be charged $200 for a refundable security deposit. Even though we were fine with it, I think a little more communication from the management about the hidden security deposit would be great.

The room was decent and clean. I like now they use hardwood floors instead of carpets. For me this is a defining factor that makes my stay enjoyable. The bed is pretty comfy for our family. I guess the highlight of this experience is you get what you pay. Don't expect more than that.
