I have become a regular at this spa due to my excellent deep tissue massages that I get regularly - OMAZING!!!!!!!! I tried so many different masseuses. They are all trained to satisfy and cater to the clients with absolutely no attitude at all. And Wen who is mostly one of the most kindness man I have ever met 0 even when I make him crazy with my last minute changes - LOL! LOL!
So this past Saturday - I visited the spa - after 7 days of NO SLEEP....... Can u imagine, my body was HURT! When I say HURT....... no exaggeration! This time I tried Annie.......... Lord Jesus, she gave me a serious deep tissue massage - She put me to sleep............ snoring and all. I WAS SATISFIED!!!!!!!!
My girl friend had the 60 minute body scrub and a 60 minute deep tissue massage with Angel. This was her first time - She was so SATISFIED that she agreed that this will be our regular spot when we have our girls hang out weekends.
I also tried Linda - she is excellent too.

Oh no 0Dec 9, 2012Previous reviewAfter a week of PURE stress and tiredness........... All I needed was a place to go to and be relieved of my tired muscles and body. The night before at 9:30pm I called Pure Qi Regimen Spa and Wen accommodated me for the following morning at 10am.
He accommodated the small changes I made to the package - Wen ensured that I received that I was HAPPY with my experience. I got the same package that I got on my birthday except I upgraded for a deep tissue massage............. OMG that is what I needed........... The body scrub for 30 minutes, the deep tissue massage, the 40 min reflexology.............. I was in HEAVEN for those couple of hours.........
AGAIN ALL OF THIS FOR ONLY $105 + 10 upgrade for a deep tissue......... I had Coco who did the scrub, massage, and foot reflexology. I told Wen I would like to try all his people before I decide on a specific person - LOL!
I also realized that the deep tissue is what I should have asked for the first time instead of the anti-stress massage.

Yesterday was my Birthday and I was running late - and because I was running late and did not get a mani and pedi............... I had attitude and frustration when I walked into Pure Regimen Spa......... with my irritation and attitude.......... the woman at the front desk handled me with care and sweetness................... when I say sweet - very sweet........
Not only was she sweet but she accommodated me with a 30 minute FULL Body Scrub. The 30 minute scrub was only for the back....... The body scrub felt really nice and the strokes while I was getting scrubbed felt great and relaxing........ then I showered and was brought in the massage room....
The massage was a anti stress massage........... and it was a bit soft - when I told her that I wanted more pressure......... she mentioned that it would be a deep tissue....... I was sort of confused with what does more pressure have to do with getting a deep tissue - more pressure means to just add more pressure to the strokes........... maybe she did not understand - but when I said it is too soft press harder - then she understood.......... after that I was brought to a chair.......... for my foot reflexology...
My foot massage was so wonderful.......... 40 minutes of bliss...........
I got a 30 minute body scrub, 60 minute anti stress massage, and a 40 minute reflexology for only $105 - who can beat that!
FIVE STARS for accommodating me and my frustrating attitude......... LOL! The only thing I would say is when getting a massage and some one says more pressure - more pressure does not mean deep tissue - it means add more pressure to the strokes - LOL!

Bottled water and fortune cookie was offered. This time, I opted for the foot massage, for 60 minute for $65 but they've changed their method and no longer soak your feet in special water. While it was a last minute decision to come, wore leggings, which made it difficult to roll up my pants, but they provided a robe to accommodate me. The staff were exceptionally friendly, which is not something I typically encounter. Although there was a language barrier with the Mandarin-speaking staff who attended to both me and my partner, they arranged for someone to translate. While they accept credit card, they appreciate cash. It was nice to hear that they still had our previous visits recorded in their system.
Overall, it was a positive experience, and I would definitely consider going back.

My skin was extremely dry and the lady knew so they used products to help moisture it. For the 60 minute facial, the lady would be working non-stop. She would either be working on my face or giving me a shoulder, head or neck massage.
I had a bright red dot on my face for over a year. I was sad to read that my only option was laser but the lady proved me wrong. So happy to no longer have that red dot. As for the 30 minute facial, the lady didn't work non-stop.
My only complaint is that one of the lady over applied products on my eyes and it stung. I informed her and she wiped it once but it needed to be wiped several times. She worked on other areas before getting back to doing it so my eyes still had the stingy feeling.Mar 31, 2014Previous reviewWe had great experience in the past. My husband and I came to Pure Qi Regimen Spa on a weekend in the afternoon. An appointment was made 1 week before. It was for a birthday celebration.
We've been to many spas in U.S. and in other countries. We are glad to have found Pure Qi Regimen Spa as it was way better than expected and the best for their service and not their decor.
We got these Pure Qi Regimen Spa packages.
- "Revitalizing" Package $115 (That's 38 for each service) - left 3 hrs later
Body Scrub 30 min (retail $40) | Any Deluxe Facial Treatment 60 min (retail $70-$80) | Foot Reflexology Therapy 60 min with mix herb foot bath & leg massage (retail $38)
- "Men's Refresh" Package $100 (That's $33 for each service)
Deep Tissue Massage 40 min (does not offer as retail) | Gentlemen's Facial 40 min does not offer as retail) | Foot Reflexology Therapy 40 min
We requested to be in the same room. The owner was able to do so for part of the time. The 5 STAR is for the service of the facial, body scrub, and deep tissue body massage.

My only complaint is that the lady only asked if the herbal water was a good temperature but she did not ask if the foot massage was too gentle. The foot massage seemed like a swedish massage. I like a little more pressure though. I guess I can request for it next time. Website photos appear much nicer than the actual place. Gosh, I absolutely LOVE this place! I'm so thankful this is in such close proximity from my work and I get such a thorough, high quality, deep tissue massage on such short notice! I've finally gotten over being sick for literally the past month, and needed to be recharged, realigned, and just pay better attention to my aches and pains. I called Wednesday for a Friday afternoon appointment and scored! $80 for an HOUR massage! Unreal!
The staff here is always super friendly, professional, and kind. They are very hospitable and ask your preference for a male or female massage therapist; I said it didn't matter. My male massage therapist was so funny - every time he cracked a bone back into place, he was like, "you ok?" and I just muttered a "I'm gooooddd" since I was becoming a puddle of goo. I very rarely feel I get my full hour's worth, and that's never the case here.
This is not a fancy place; there's just the massage table in the tiny room, and these guys get right to work. No talking; no filler. Every movement is with effort and you'll get full reflexology to say bye bye to all those toxins!

My shoulders literally felt like I've been carrying bricks up my stairs for the last few weeks, so I knew it was time for another 30 minute back massage at Pure Qi Spa during my lunch hour!
Upon arrival, I was greeted with a warm welcome and given the smallest slippers on their bookshelf. I was even taken 20 minutes earlier, which was great knowing I wasn't running back to work to not be late.
The room is strictly the massage table, a chair in the corner, and a shelf filled with massage items like candles, lotion, essential oils, and such.
I actually got a male massage therapist and he really was incredibly professional and applied the right amount of pressure in all the right places, especially that pesky left shoulder. He was methodical and took his time; he knew exactly where I needed the pain to be taken away. The best $40 I could've spent that day, honestly.

I've been dealing with this pain in my right shoulder for a few days, and decided once and for all to do something about it on my lunch hour - Pure Qi Spa to the rescue!
You are the potter, and I am the clay. A mushy, gushy, aching piece of clay that you're making into a sexy vase.
You change into slippers upon entry and smell the burning incense to zen you out. This place is a no frills place, so don't expect that. You WILL hear everyone and everything going on, but the zen music in the background helps you to focus your thoughts to a far off place other than Brooklyn.
Cici worked my shoulder and neck with a pressure so perfect, she was able to make my hands twitch. You don't need a man to apply firm pressure here! She was super soft voiced, and sweet when asking how I was. I had to wipe my face of drool before saying, "keep going". It was the best way to spend my lunch hour; hands down. Get it?! HANDS DOWN?! okk...
For $40 for 30 minutes of deep tissue for a full back massage, tipped my girl $10, and I was feeling pretty sweet! Two days later, I have full mobility in my shoulder and neck again.
Pure bliss is found here! 
Justin C.Los Angeles, CA025Dec 7, 2023This place really wasn't worth the money. The massage itself wasn't that great, the masseuse (I forget her name but it wasn't Nancy or Amy) kept pressing her elbow directly into my spine -- quite painful!
Also, in the middle of the massage, I could hear one of the front counter guys shouting at the other in really harsh sounding Mandarin. It was kind of offputting to hear someone get loudly berated in the middle of that pseudo calm environment (and then go back outside to see them acting pretend nice to their customers).
They were very patient that I had to cancel several times in the past (I tried to book a massage for my someone I was dating at the time thrice but she had extreme family emergencies twice, and the third time she just broke up with me so canceled it on my behalf), so kudos for thatHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1Business owner information

I would give my massage and facial a 10 out of 10. The only thing that was poor taste is when my massage and facial was done. We went to the front to pay he told me the total. I was fine with it up to the part when told both he will decided the tip for my sister and I.
We found that weird because a tip is a gratitude unless it written where it says there is a certain percentage for tips. Which I still disagreed, it was our intention to not tip them.
My sister and I will be looking for another location for our massages. Over hearing with anyone else paying tips was not decided for them. So now I'm scratching my head and have me thinking was my race played a part. I felt a little awkward and disappointed. Been here many times before with the other gentleman never had this problem. And definitely will not be going back. Disappointing was a Birthday gift from my girls. He knew this so was it in his mind he thought we were not going to pay since my girls were not around. He even made a comment to the extent you can relax until your daughters come. Sir just like every one there (White) I also work and can pay if they don't. Which my girls did. I think any one of minority this is not a place for them. I never felt so uncomfortable and awkward for the color of my skin. Not sure if they under New Management but was not happy. I just laugh and brushed it off.

I've taken two people here since (best friend and boyfriend) and will be taking my mom when she comes to visit.
I live farther out in Queens and I make the journey down to Pure Qi....it's THAT great.
The masseuses are so kind and professional, and the massages are AMAZING. I love relaxing with the 60 min massage and then the 60 min facial- my skin has never looked better after! The place is very clean and serene, it's quiet and even smells relaxing. It's definitely not a "bougie, yuppie NYC" spa experience, but the service you receive and the atmosphere is so worth it to me. It's better, even! Affordable and consistent.
