      This new publix is BEAUTIFUL

They really utilized the space that have. I haven't seen a publix set up this way before. They have a walk around deli, an olive bar, a lot of charcuterie options, and a lot of stock!

You might need to ask for directions but all of the employees are super nice and helpful as well.

Im excited to see how this grow the area!

      15 check-ins

Once again I stopped back in this Publix as it tends to carry items that the one closest to us doesn't and I like the setup of the store much better. Overall I have really liked this location and one of the things I do prefer is that it has self-checkouts which at times can get me out of the store much faster.

On this latest check-in I decided to get something for lunch as it was almost my lunch time. After a close look I figured I would get a sandwich because I noticed that they have wraps on the menu. They have a specific counter for sandwiches and wraps and there were only a couple of people in line in front of me as the one in front of them was just finishing their order when I got in line. Most places I would go to when people are ordering just one sandwich I could get in and out in under 10 minutes. I was not so lucky here I was in line getting my sandwich for over 20 minutes. They had three people Manning the sandwich counter and they were the slowest moving food service people I have met in a very long time. The first person only ordered a wrap and the one in front of me ordered a full-sized sub. With three people you would expect they could expedite matters as people seem to know what they wanted. The time for making my wrap was probably just a little longer and I would have preferred. It was nothing complicated about it as I only ordered an Italian. The person who finished my wrap seemed like it was the very first time they ever tried to roll one up. If I had caught them before they cut it I would have had them skip it and I would have rerrolled it at home. The experience getting this was quite disappointing but it tasted just fine in the end.
I shudder to think of what would happen if they had a larger order all at one time. Hopefully this is one area of the store that they will work to improve as the food is quite good and service on the other sides of the counter tends to be pretty good.
Everything else about this location has been satisfactory and I will definitely continue to shop here.

I'm a huge fan of Publix Supermarkets and was excitedly awaiting the opening of our newest store across from my Florida home!

I finally got to check it out today, Publix Super Market at Champions Crossing and was very happy and impressed with how well stocked, organized and beautiful it was!

All the departments from Deli to Bakery have a vast variety with stunning displays! Everything I usually want and purchase and more was available.

They even have a smaller second floor for dining on the variety of prepared hot foods, salads and sandwich's you can buy and eat right in store.

The company is savvy and smart by placing a mix of new workers, experienced workers from other area stores and regional managers to help in the first week of opening.

I'm hoping they are able to sustain the excellence I saw today. They are very eager and willing to assist you and take suggestions as well to make their customers happy!

      I really like Publix.

As a rule, every location is clean and well-organized. The only downside I can see is that their prices are extremely high on most items (even higher than Winn-Dixie, and that's saying a lot). Generally, their pricing is 10 to 30 percent higher than, let's say Walmart or Aldi.

But, then again, I guess you pay a little more for this kind of clean shopping experience and, as a rule, good customer service.

Except at the deli sub line, of course.

It stands to reason that, if you live near a Publix, you've tried their submarine sandwiches, and you know why they're worth waiting in line for. There isn't another restaurant that can compare to the sandwich you get at Publix (I'm looking at you , Subway).

Despite being outstanding subs, sometimes getting them can be a bit of an ordeal.

OK...maybe "ordeal" is a strong word. Let's split the difference and say "annoying to maddening".

While Publix has generally excelled in customer service, their help at the sub counter is definitely hit or miss (and almost ALWAYS understaffed). Even at this location, I've been waited on by people who were inattentive and apparently apathetic.

I've even left the line, even after waiting ten or fifteen minutes.

      But I digress...

My wife and I order subs once a week, generally speaking. We each have long commutes, and I try to pick our longest days to order from Publix. It saves us both from cooking and cleaning, and we know that we're going to get a great-tasting meal.

Two weeks ago I stopped in for our dinner order, and I got the BEST service I'd ever gotten a the counter, and I didn't even leave with one of the subs I intended to purchase.

I was waited on by a young lady named Shalicia. She was very friendly and obviously outgoing, and Publix did really well putting her at the sub counter (in fact, they should clone her and staff that counter with no one other than her and her clones). I ordered my wife's sub, which went off without a hitch, but when I ordered my sub, they didn't have the meat which I wanted. Generally not a problem, I've got a standby, so I asked for that. That day it was a problem, and they didn't have that one either. Shalicia didn't miss a beat, she knew her products well enough that she suggested an alternative which she thought I might like, and offered to match the price with the two that weren't available.

You just can't beat that kind of friendly, attentive service.

Well...maybe you can. I returned last week, and Shalicia was working a different station at the deli, but when she saw me, she recognized me and came over to ask if I liked the sub which she suggested.

      THAT is outstanding customer service.

So, I have to give five stars to this location. Even on a bad day, I would give Publix four stars because they really are good at what they do. But on this occasion, the five stars are more than well-deserved.

Thank you for the great service!

This Publix is the best. Where else would we go? It's literally in walking distance and the employees are extremely nice and helpful.

The new Publix at Champions Crossing is indeed very nice and the staff is excellent. However, BE VERY CAREFUL OF ANYTHING YOU BUY FROM THE DELI, especially the chicken.

The first time we shopped there, we bought a box of fried chicken from the deli. However, it was not until after we checked out that we discovered that the wrong label was put on the box and we were charged $5 more. Luckily we caught the mistake in the parking lot and a manager took care of it.

The second time we shopped there, we picked up another 8 piece box of chicken, only to come home and realize that there were a couple pieces missing. Once again, the management came through and I got a full refund.

Michael Cherry and the management team at this Publix are the best! But if you buy anything from the deli (especially the chicken), double and triple check the merchandise before you head to the checkout. After all, the employees are probably still learning the ropes.

      The new Publix is awesome!
Just open a couple of days ago. The place is huge. If you like shopping then this is the place for you!
The only thing missing is the scale at the front door, other then that they have everything, and more, including a small balcony in the front for you to go to sit and eat, with all the condiments, a microwave, and even a couple of couches for you to sit and relax!
      Just go!

I have never gone to a supermarket who sells freshly made baseball bats . I asked baker why is bread so hard and she replied with an attitude Don't recommend I rather honestly take my money to old Publix on 27.
