Only place I trust - I dont know what I would do without a dealership like this close to us. My old slogan once you go Proctor - you stay Proctor

This service center is thorough, honest, friendly, and best of all their technicians seem to love their work and take great pride in it. I highly recommend this place even if you do not drive a Honda!

They did an excellent job, and thoroughly explained one or two minor things i needed.
I recommend their service dept, even if your car is not a Honda. - Rach H.FL, FL03Sep 20, 2023

I needed regular service on my Honda CRV. I contacted Proctor Honda via Phone to schedule an oil change and tire rotation. The staff member on the phone was pleasant.
When I arrived, I was greeted by a kind gentleman, Bruce Ford, ready to assist me. I asked if we could fix the battery in my key as the car indicates it is low. He asked if I needed anything else besides the oil change, tire rotation and battery in key, and I stated no. I handed the keys and jumped in the hubby's car while they worked on my CRV baby.
After a short time, I received a call from Bruce Ford stating my car was ready for pickup. When I arrived Bruce was friendly and very informative about my car inspection from the oil change and tire rotation. I appreciated that.
I got in my car to take off and my car indicated the key was low battery. I went back to Bruce and he quickly took it to service to be fixed. He walked to my car with me to ensure the key was not still sending the low battery indicator on my dashboard. It was fixed this time.
Thank you so much Bruce Ford for helping me out today. I will be back.Helpful 15Thanks 0Love this 14Oh no 0 - Nov 26, 2022
I brought my truck in for a routine maintenance as well as a tailgate handle with lock installation. I chose this dealership over the one in Thomasville because they were aware of a service bulletin saying the transmission service that included a flush was not recommended by the company, yet the other dealership was not aware of this and would have done a complete flush and cleaning of the transmission. So this dealership did a drain and filled of transmission fluid, oil change, tire rotation, and the lock installation. They also ran it through their car wash, but that did not do much because there were still remnants of bugs on the front and dirt on the tailgate. When I called to make an appointment for the service, it was easy and fast. They knew what part I needed and ordered it for me and got me in the very next Saturday. When I arrived I was checked in quickly and directed to the waiting area. There was a bar with chairs for doing work as well as a charging station and outlets. There was a Keurig coffee machine as well as water and snacks. I was in and out in just a couple of hours. There was a slight misunderstanding about the charges I would find on my bill, but they did work to give me the correct price other than the miscellaneous $25 charge they put on all of their tickets. I was originally told it was around $10. They brought it down to $23. No one showed me how to use the new lock, which is slightly different than a normal locking system, and I found the keys for it in my console tray. That was a little disappointing as well as the quality of the car wash. They had also checked my in-cabin air filter and something fell down in it that looked like a piece of something and it was causing the AC fan to make a terrible noise. I stopped at another Honda dealership in Leesburg and they fixed it for me within minutes.

Terrible customer service. No one calls you back. When you call for an update they are rude. I left four voicemails and couldn't get a call back. My son is in college and we trusted a dealership to handle his maintenance. They were awful to him. I will never use them again.

Phone Customer Service remains non-existent.
My CR-V has another Airbag recall, but you won't get an appointment for that unless you are coming here to spend money...
Having already had my vehicle diagnosed by my mechanic (& common sense), I knew the power steering pump needed replacing. I scheduled a drop off appointment for my car and asked to have a quote on repairing the pump. I'm told "That will be $55 to diagnose", "I already know the pump needs replacing, just want to know how much it will cost", "It's $55, we will have them look at it".
Next day... I receive a call that my car has two oils leaks, needs new brakes, Needs $1,200 transmission repair ($55 to diagnose as well).... and $1,500 power steering pump. I paid over $700 for the oil leaks and brakes. They listed a complimentary car was on my invoice (my car was not washed). Basically I paid $110 to have my airbag recall performed, because had I not come in for other service they would've kept up the charade that they don't have any parts for my vehicle.
They have a lovely show room and charismatic sales staff. My first experience as a new customer compared to my service as a return customer has left a bad taste in my mouth. Not only that, but it burned my tongue!
Don't ask them to diagnose anything, they'll probably do it anyway.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Mar 1, 2015Previous reviewBought a used Honda on craigslist. After receiving the notice for the airbag recall I called to schedule the repairs and was dumped into a voicemail box. I called several times to try to avoid being dumped in the voicemail... but eventually just left a message. They did return my call with a day or two and scheduled me for repairs.
Several days before my appointment I received a call to inform me that the parts had not come in. Being eager to have my car made as safe as possible, I was getting a bit discouraged hoping there was another option.
My Honda is an AWD CR-V... the traction control light, warning light and exclamation light all came on, on my way to work on a Monday - the wheels lost traction and I thought my transmission was giving out. Generally I take my vehicle to Jower's (highly recommended), but with all the lights flashing I got worried and scheduled a repair that week at the dealership.
Upon arrival at the dealership I was greeted by a smiling pleasant blonde woman. She got me checked in, offered me refreshments and arranged for my shuttle ride to work. While waiting on paperwork, I was able to make a coffee and grab some complimentary snacks from their coffee bar. I was taken to work in an Odyssey (I love those vans) by George, who had a distinct accent (Illinois) - he was very nice & witty. George later picked me up, swung by my kid's school to pick them up and brought us back to the dealership. We again were blanketed with hospitality, drinks and snacks were offered and in no time my car was ready (and washed). They even managed to round up all the parts required for my recalls. My check engine light was still on when I got in the car, but I pulled it back around and they reset it in 5 minutes.
The customer service on the phone is a very poor representation of the in person experience I had. I was so very impressed and surprised at how pleasant the experience was. They made everything easy. I wouldn't mind waiting there all day if I didn't have to go to work. They had a spacious cozy waiting area, bistro tables near the coffee bar and partitioned work spaces for privacy. Did I mention free WIFI? - Shoniqwa U.Tallahassee, FL18025218Oct 21, 2022Updated review
Don't do any business here. They are scam artists. Always have excuses for not fixing problems they created, sloppy and incompetent service work, slick Willy type sales people. Run people!
Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0May 29, 2020Previous reviewThis is an awful dealership. Their sales people come off like they are hiding information, get angry when you compare their offers to Blue Book prices, and at one point insisted I pay a ridiculous array of fees and quickly transferred for to a billing or customer service person as if we had reached an agreement. Ironically, this last interchange occurred just when I was going to ask them about all the other bad Yelp reviews that don't sound like their commercials (in other words, their positive reviews sounding like their commercials lead me to suspect more shady practice/reviews by owners or employees). Not surprised that this was just about the point when the salesman had a tantrum. Hahahahaha. What a joke. Definitely not buying a car from these guys. Oh well, at least I'm glad I came in their suspicious and got the whole story rather than getting screwed. After all, we don't call this place TALLA-NASTY for nuthin!

I have owned Honda and Acura vehicles north of 20 years and have always had my vehicles serviced either at Honda or Acura. When installing tires I always had my tires delivered at the dealer and had the dealer do the installation, balancing and alignment. Recently my son whom is living in Tallahassee FL, 500 miles away from home and goes to Florida State University at my request called and asked the dealer that he would like to schedule service to have his new set of 4 Michelin tires installed and was told that if he didn't buy the tires from Proctor Honda they would not do the service due to the privately own dealer policy, they site liability they incurred for installing tires they have not sold. I called to confirm this and was told the same. First time a Honda or an Acura dealer has rejected my business, I filed a complaint with American Honda not because I want to force the dealer to change their policies, I filed the complaint # 13233505 cause I am a loyal customer, as my sister in law, Nephew, Brother-in-law also are and I currently own a 2019 TLX and a 2022 Acura MDX and my son owns a 2016 Honda Accord EX-L a hand me down from me and prior to these cars I have owned 8 American Honda cars and during this time frame I have had excellent quality service not one complaint have I submitted in fact I have written multiple 5 star reviews for Largo Honda in Homestead FL and Miami Acura. Today that high quality north of 20 years excellent experience with American Honda case # 13233505 has come to an end not because of American Honda, but because of a privately owned Honda dealer as they describe themselves in Tallahassee FL the dealers name is Proctor Honda. I have been a verifiable loyal customer of American Honda as I said earlier north of 20 years and I get it, this privately owned Honda Dealer in Tallahassee FL does not want our business therefore I will make sure to never go there again even when my son conveniently lives 1 mile away from the dealer, we will do what this privately owned little dealership in Tallahassee FL has encouraged us to do and that is to take our business elsewhere.

Let me first say I am still a Honda driver for life. With that out of the way, I will never do business at this dealership for service or otherwise.
I had an issue with the battery in my 2017 Civic. They did nothing to help and actually didn't do the rotation and alignment I agreed to have done either. She wrote on my service summary that I declined services suggested. Nothing about the battery test she claimed they did when I talked to her on the phone.
I never post negative reviews because I spent so much of my life in customer service so I can almost always give people the benefit of the doubt. This was over the top the worst interaction I have ever had with any company though.
Since this visit I schedule my service with the dealerships back in Jacksonville when I have to go back for work meetings.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
