like the inscription above the front doors say "open wide the doors to christ" this church will make you take the leap and look into faith the parishioners are friendly and will make you feel welcome.
parking at the church is plentiful but you do have to get there early for the better spots. The church is expanding to offer more to the parishioners and their children.
also inside the Church they have screens that show the lyrics to help you if you don't know the words to the hymnals or prayers so you wont feel left out.
the priest are down to earth and will crack jokes so its not like all other masses i have attended, and for communion its directed and moves effortlessly and quickly for it having a full house.
if Sunday crowds arn't your thing they do have spots outside with a few saints with a bench you can sit at and reflect.

This is THE church, this is MY church. After never joining my own church, this was my first one to join. As soon as you walk in you feel an overly abundance of welcome. Sundays I would either attend 9 or 11 AM mass. I really enjoy both times but of course 11 will always be slightly more busy! Hey, that's great though! One of the only times you really want a place to be SUPER BUSY! Lol!
Everyone says hello to you walking in and they always have events in the hall next door after mass is over.
The deacons they have are amazing. One is my personal favorite because I value his struggle the most. A atheist turned Catholic and now he's practicing what he preaches. Attorneys practice law, doctors practice medicine, and Priests/Deacons practice what they preach! They also have another that's a major cyclist and he gets the men who really love sports in-tune with Gods will for us.
Love how Holy this church is.

When you go see your Father ladies, please, make sure you're dressing appropriately. To wear something that's extremely revealing of your front and or back will NEVER be appropriate.
Gentlemen, try to wear pants and not golf shorts.
If the CEO of your company was holding a meeting, do you think you'd wear some Calloway's to it, or would you wear something more appropriate?

You have 168 hours in your week. If you can do whatever you like for 167, you can definitely give 1 to God.
Come see us. We've been waiting for you!

      God Bless!

I have been attending Prince of Peace for about 2 months, and I typically attend Vietnamese mass. However, since my husband has converted to catholic, he prefers American mass in order to understand better. It is a challenge for me to learn the prayers in English, though I am a fluent speaker in both languages. That being said, I truly appreciate the church providing the prayers on screen for everyone to read and learn.

I truly love how diverse the church is, and they even provide mass is Spanish! Walking into church, you will see everyone in all ethical backgrounds come together as God's children. I love how welcoming the church members are as we walk in. Everyone greets each other and we all shake hands prior to mass starting.

Mass is quite easier to understand and relate to when it's in English, and not to mention shorter than Vietnamese. Lol! I quite enjoy coming here every Sunday as it brings me and my husband closer to God, and we cherish those moments of attending Sunday mass together.

Love this church. Even though it is not the closest church to me I go out of my way to go to mass and pray here. The main church building is so beautiful and big and is always open to the public. Easy place to go and pray and there is adoration throughout the day during the week in the main building.
The priests/deacons give great homilies and they are always hosting awesome events. Overall great catholic community.

Deacon Bill Barns was a blessing to find in our difficult time of need. My father passed away Feb 5, 2020 and after making a couple calls Prince of Peace provided us with a gorgeous chapel for my fathers mass. The entire staff was super nice and friendly to work with. The grounds of the church are beautiful and inviting, my mother has found her new congregation and we will be forever grateful for the service and send off of my father.

Let me state outright that I'm not religious, but wow, what a church.

I went with my brother and his wife on Christmas day. I honestly thought she was going alone, so I opted in. I didn't discover till we were walking out the door that my brother was going too, so I felt duped... Regardless, there was great parking with a nice police officer to direct the flow of traffic in and out.

Upon entering, there were plenty of ushers who were providing the bulletin and a supplemental disc of Catholic pillars. We found some seats, and I was impressed with the diversity of the crowd. There is a live orchestra (which I loved), a song leader, and most of the words you need to know are printed in the bulletin, the supplements in the seats, and the screens around the room. Communion was the epitome of efficiency. I couldn't believe how quickly that many people had bread and wine.

People were friendly, but there was none of that creepy sales feeling you get at a lot of Protestant churches. It was a nice service, not too long, and the Priest was funny and open.

While I don't intend on making it a habit to attend Mass, it was a nice experience, and I'm glad I went. Merry Christmas, Prince of Peace Catholic Community!

I've been coming to Prince of Peace fairly regularly for several years now, and today, not for the first time, the homily upset me. The clergy's complete lack of understanding of the values that this country was founded on, and subsequent attempts to preach about the loss of the values that this country was founded on, is very troubling. One cannot claim that the United States was created as "a strong, Judeo-Christian country" because it very specifically was not. You can't ask people to fight against forces that are making our country "anti-Christian" with "anti-Christian laws" when those forces are simply level-headed lawmakers with a clear knowledge of the separation of church and state established by the founding fathers in the Constitution. In fact, the Catholic Church was one of the first institutions to encourage the separation of church and state in the Middle Ages when kings began appointing bishops. Apparently, Prince of Peace has forgotten this in their eagerness for bishops to appoint kings. Additionally, the deacon who gave today's homily claimed that "we are called to wage holy warfare" and quoted Jeremiah saying that "now is the time to pick up our swords and fight". We are not and it is not. I attend a Catholic high school, and there we are taught that war in the name of God (the Crusades) is one of the worst blemishes on the Catholic Church's history. I am truly outraged that a church that calls itself "Prince of Peace" would advocate warfare. Also no one's gonna buy your overpriced tamales @ Knights of Columbus.

I will give them props for the Vietnamese food on fellowship sunday tho.

Prince of peace is vibrant, diverse, and welcoming parish. The size can be overwhelming at first but this size provides for a wide range of opportunities for outreach, fellowship, education and evangelization. We have several great programs from childcare for many events(including mass), marriage enrichment, & youth programs from pre-k through graduation. Many great opportunities for spirtual development through mass, sacraments, retreats, and adoration. Staff and pastors are concerned about concerns of parishioners, but true to church teaching. If you are looking to come back to the church or checking about what this Catholic thing is all about, I would highly recommend this parish.
