Primrose School of Ashburn at Broadlands

Our 2-year old daughter has attended Primrose School of Ashburn at Broadlands since she was a little over 7 months and it has been a positive experience throughout. Her teachers have been incredibly caring and dedicated to her safety and growth. She looks forward to seeing her teachers and friends each morning and the pictures show how much she enjoys each day's activities and events. The speed with which she is learning is a testament to both her teachers and the Primrose curriculum. The staff are also fantastic - responsive to every question or concern we have raised and always approachable. The facility is very clean and fixtures are in good shape, considering how much they are used by little kids day in and day out. We always feel good about dropping off our daughter, which is (to me) the highest praise for a daycare.

It pains me to update my previous review as we had such a great initial experience at this schools. The teachers and directors were amazing. Unfortunately, within a 5/6 month period 20 employees; directors, teachers and support staff have turned over. The school has gone through 6 directors in the last 3 years. The attrition is due to inadequate leadership, questionable integrity and poor judgement of the ownership. Below was the final straw:


"When we spoke last, late June, I expressed my concerns about teacher and staff turnover. During that meeting you held my hand, looked in my eyes, and gave me your word, confirming our terms of enrollment that you would always ensure the safety and wellbeing of my children. You also affirmed that regardless of how many exiting teachers, you would have enough coverage to meet your commitments.

In the last week, those commitments have not been met as ratios in my children's classrooms have been insufficient. For example, this morning Pre-K 2 had 16 children and one teacher. The state ratio standard is 10:1. The teacher repeatedly called for support with no response for nearly 30 minutes. Given that your facility is not appropriately staffed nor capable of ensuring my children are safe, I have no choice but to remove them from your care. While I am concerned for the other children in your school, I must take action and advocate for my children and ensure their safety and wellbeing.

I am requesting a prorated refund. This request is based on your failure to meet the terms of our agreement and services that were not rendered, on a count of child neglect and state licensing violations."

Primrose of Ashburn Broadlands and Primrose of Ashburn is the best schools in the area. The caring owners, teachers and staff make for an clean, easy, nurturing, safe and stress free environment for your child to play, laugh, learn and grow. Our child has learned so much. When/if issues arise, the owner, director and staff are on it and set reasonable expectations on correcting or addressing it. From the curriculum to the food and fire truck playground, this place is amazing. We were very fortunate to have started our early education there. We wish the owners would build one in Coral Springs, Florida. We miss you!

The staff at this Primrose School of Broadlands is absolutely phenomenal. I can't say enough positive things about my recent decision to enroll my child in this school.

From the moment I contacted this school, they have bent over backwards to make sure that I've been at ease in regards to my child's transition and possible attendance. Unfortunately I'm the type of Mommy that need's her hand held as well. I've had some pretty rough experiences in regards to childcare and my child's health, as well. I expressed my anxiety and concern, and didn't need to say another word! I can honestly say that for the first time in a long time, I know that my child is in the best care possible.

The Admission's Director is AMAZING and so kind! She empathized with me, which is extremely important for a parent. The communication between the parent's and this school couldn't get any better! If I reached out with questions or concerns, the staff responded IMMEDIATELY. Whether it be the Owner, director, or Admissions Director.

The owner of this facility, and another Ashburn Primrose as well; is extremely professional, knowledgeable, honest and sympathetic. She is very responsive, and I can see that she wants the best for my child!

Let's not dare forget the staff and teacher's!! Hands down...the BEST!! You walk into this center and you feel the love. In all honesty. My child's teacher and assistant teacher are the sweetest. They don't just hire anyone at Primrose, these are educated individuals. I can definitely tell as a parent, the staff here goes through training periodically as well.

My child had some special needs, and this entire facility has been nothing but caring, and accommodating to he's needs.

This facility is very beautiful, and clean kept!

I am looking forward to years to come at Primrose Broadlands! So thankful I made the decision to enroll here. Looking back, wouldn't choose anywhere else!

The school is great but the teachers especially Ms Singh are what makes kindergarten a great place for my kid. My daughter has learned a great deal of discipline and has learned to read and write thanks to the teachers in her class. I would highly recommend this school
