Prickly Pickle

Stayed in Chestertown end of September and found my new favorite little place. Good subs good food, yummy fried pickles. This is a place that is for sure going into the rotation .... Maybe daily visits.

The food was delicious! I had a chicken wrap and my husband had a roast beef sandwich. We went here for lunch because The Prickly Pickle was our granddaughters soccer team sponsor. We were treated like family right away by the owner. She's got a great menu and quick service with a smile. No indoor seating, which was not an issue on this gorgeous fall day. The outdoor seating is in the sun so maybe it is fine all year, and they do a good takeout business.

It's one of the only places open on Mondays. Shrimp salad is excellent, as is the chicken salad. Trio salad is a bargain.

Great addition to the severely lacking Chestertown food scene. Great start with the burgers. Fresh beef, endless choices of add ins: lettuce, tomato, onion(raw or fried), mayonnaise, hots, sweet, ketchup, mustard, dill or bread and butter pickles. BUT, don't miss out on the "Phenomenol" Pickle Burger. Want lunch and dinner in one? Go for the Cheeseburger whole sub. The cheese steak comes in to Chestertown and smotheres the other 'straunts. AND they carry wings! Before you leave, gotta grab the Fried Dill Pickles....

Such a wonderful place for great food, and the staff is so awesome! Clean, and all around great menu to choose from. I had the Thanksgiving Sub, it was awesome!
