Prestigious Pets

My usual pet sitter/walking company, Great Paws (now Sparta) was closed so I decided to try Prestigious Pets based on all of the good reviews. We have 2 dogs and a fish that were being cared for while we were gone a Friday through Tuesday evening.

I knew in the initial meeting that I did not think the company was a good fit. The walker would not share her phone number and said any communications had to be emailed through the company. Since their hours are M-F 9 am - 4pm or Sat. 11 am - 3pm and closed Sunday, this leaves a lot of time where you cannot contact your walker if needed. We would have liked to contact her when we saw the alarm was not set and also when we saw the fish bowl had gone from clear to cloudy.

I also did not like their fee and the services you receive. In the initial meeting, our walker told us it was $20 to come to the house, but that did not include a walk. She told us that was $5 extra. Granted they invoiced and charged us $10 and it took multiple emails to get that credited back on my card. The request was made on 10/6 and I did not receive the credit until 10/14. Their initial quote said the visit included 10-15 minutes of a walk or backyard time so I was confused that our walker was telling us something different.

They also don't automatically give you updates on the visit. In the initial meeting, our walker told us that has to be requested each day via email. I like to know the walk and visit happened and that the dogs are doing well.

Finally, I left a note asking for our keys to be left when the walker left the last day. They charge $15 to get them back at a later date. The walker did not leave the keys and they are going to charge me to get them back.

The one star is for potentially harming my fish, otherwise it would have been 2 stars. We have a camera on the bowl and we watched the water go from clear to cloudy. There was a layer of food on the bottom from way too much being put in it. Even if you don't have fish, you should be able to see the change in the bowl and stop putting in food. Better yet, ask us how much to feed if you are unsure.

The care of our dogs was fine. It is just the company is not one I would recommend due to their policies. I did share this feedback with them and they wanted to discuss it. However, I have no plans to use them again and did not want to take the time to discuss the issues.

My cousin needed a sitter and walker for his dogs while out of town for our family reunion so I helped him find Prestigous Pets. Absolutely the right choice. Callie was great with them - can't recommend them enough

Don't do it!!
They have a good pitch to get you to use their service, initial call and meet and greet. But it all goes down hill from there. Unreliable dog walking service, set times are 3 hour window, if they are running late or not there in the 3 hour window, they do not call you, reach out or notify in any way. Trying to get in touch with them, that's pointless, they don't answer the contact number that is listed on invoices. You have to send them an email and hope for the best. Each and every time it's hours later. This is a huge hassle and really not a helpful service, it's a stressful service. And even sometimes not showing up at all. They apologize and say they are shorthanded, or someone called in sick, etc.. They've got excuses for everything.
Hope you liked to get your credit card processed for walks not completed, they process with future walks included. Total hassle to try and clear this up. I do not recommend this service at all. Save your self some time and live stress free by not using them.

HORRIBLE OWNERSHIP/MGMT. DO NOT USE THEM. They do not deliver what they promised. They sent a total stranger to my home to take care of my pets. This was not discussed with me in advance. I checked our home cameras from the airport & saw a complete stranger in my kitchen. When I called the office, i was told "This is the sales number & I cannot do anything for you." Seriously?

The sitter did not follow my instructions and left a huge mess where the litter box sits. I have asked four times to speak to the owner of the company & I have yet to hear from him.

They will not speak to you on the phone - red flag 1. They only wants emails - red flag 2. You are not allowed to have your sitters cell phone number - red flag 3. They charge your CC the moment you book - red flag 4.

The service was terrible, ownership has flat out ignored me & I will never, ever use them again. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE IDIOTS. WORST PET SITTING COMPANY EVER.

I am a person that cannot relax and plan a trip for work or pleasure without worrying about my dog.
These guys put your mind at ease with their professional care and top service. Very trustworthy, caring, kind and professional. I would recommend thier services to any pet owner.

We were very nervous with this being our first time using a pet sitting service but we're so so happy to have found Prestigious Pets! Their love & care for animals shows and it really helped for us to feel comfortable leaving our furbaby in their care. My family and I were able to vacation at ease knowing our beloved pet was in good hands! I would definitely be using this service again next time I'm in the Dallas area.

I found Prestigious Pets as I was looking for a dog services for my dog. Prestigious Pets offers various services, but I was looking for dog walking as sometimes it gets hard to take breaks while working. I like that they offer multiple visits and how long each visit is. I also like that they offer pet sitting which my dog always wants attention and I found this extremely helpful. I found this website very easy to navigate and very simple to use.

I'm so happy to have found prestigious pets. My hours changed at work and i'm gone all day so this pet service is a life saver. My dogs always seems happy afterwards

I LOVE these guys.
All workers are phenomenal with my 2 dogs, very reliable and punctual. These guys went above and beyond in every aspect and allowed me to relax and enjoy my weekend away because I knew my dogs were being well taken care of. I will certainly be using Prestigious Pets services in the future and will be recommending them to all my friends. Thank you so much for all you do!

The Prestigious Pets walking service wasn't right for my dogs. They sent a different pet walker every time and my dogs never had a chance to get to know any of them. Not the right service for nervous pets.
