Recently moved to the area and chose Prestige Dental for my dental care.
Lovely clean and well-appointed office. Friendly and competent staff.

I have been a member of this dental office for YEARS. My whole family, actually. I've been here since I was a middle schooler. Today I had an unpleasant experience. My family supports this dental office because they are POC and woman owned and they treat us well. I am beyond disappointed with the training of the receptionist/front desk girl. The middle eastern girl who works at the front had the worst attitude with me as soon as I arrived. The other black lady who works there had to check her because she was being mean for no reason which I'm happy for. I have never experienced anything like this which shocked me. I hope I never experience it again because I will certainly want to speak to the business owner next time.

Went here once and will absolutely never return. I'm an avid brushed/flosser who has never had so much as a cavity in 48 years, but I was told I wasn't flossing well enough. Thanks doc, but I think I'll stick with what has worked for the past 48 years. Somehow, they pushed a root planing through the insurance company so they could bill for that and collect a co-pay from me. Then declared me a "periodontal" case so that they could have me come in for a cleaning every 3 months instead of 6...again to bill the insurance company. Prescribed me some sort of math wash that they billed to the insurance company, but I had to $20 for the plastic measuring cup...exactly like the one that comes on top of a bottle of mouthwash. $20? Really?
Absolute joke. If you want someone who I is going to treat you and your insurance company like an ATM, this is the place to go.

Dear Philip S.
You were seen in our office 3 years ago in 2017. I have reviewed your x-rays and other records from that time. It appears that the diagnosis, treatment and all the recommendations were accurate and absolutely correct. We always maintain a very high level of dental care and business ethics in our office. We do not over diagnose or over treat. You are welcome to get a copy of your records, free of charge, from our office and get a second opinion.
Please contact our office for any further questions.

Well I hate to do it but I did not have a good experience with this dentist. I was not reminded on the appointment by phone call the day prior, I guess that is no longer standard practice. The dentist did the cleaning herself and did not clean the whole lower right quadrant of my teeth. Man I swear these dentists shouldn't even be in business. For all those who speak highly, they either have extremely low standards or are stupid, maybe both. There are plenty of good dentists out there and I will need to upgrade my insurance to be covered by them. I intend on doing that.

This is one of the best of the best dental office in Elk Grove. Doctor is very nice and very kind.OPEN LATE.My whole family of 4 started coming here this year.
You cannot go wrong with this dental office. Very professional and highly recommend.

I'm changing this review from 3 stars to 4 because of how the doctor diligently followed up with my concerns :) Contacting other dentists and endodontists for additional opinions shows a lot of effort and care regarding her work, and I really respect that.

I wish Yelp had some sort of system to separate out the ratings between customer service (5 stars) and actual health treatment (2 stars). I'm pretty distraught over my final dental results, so I've just roughly averaged the two here.
I got a second opinion AND a third opinion from different dentists. Based on their professional reviews, I need to get a root canal because updated post-filling x-rays show that the work was done extremely close to my nerve. I am very unhappy, seeing as how, at the end of November, I did not go into Prestige Dental with ANY pain at all; and now less than two months later, I've been told my nerve is likely beginning to die. If it were just a matter of redoing the filling, I probably would have just sucked it up and been fine with it all, but in actuality the new diagnosis was much worse than that. Everything from here on out is out of network for me and will be resulting in a huge set-back in my pocket book... T__T

I am sad to report that even after going in for a follow-up on my fillings, I still have a lot of concerns. As of today, I've been seen three times within the past month: (1) for the initial fillings; (2) for a follow-up due to new sensitivity; (3) for a second follow-up for worsened sensitivity.
During the first follow-up for new sensitivity, the doctor corrected my bite because the filling was high, so I was hitting it when I bit down. After this visit, everything seemed OK, but then a couple days later, the sensitivity had come back (with a vengeance). Cold liquids, hot liquids, chewing, you name it. Fortunately, the staff was able to get me in on the same day that I called... *phew!*
During the second follow-up, the doctor indicated that there could be some tiny opening somewhere around the filling, so she added a nifty liquid sealer/de-sensitizing agent around the affected teeth. I must say that since then, the sensitivity has, indeed, gone down; however, it's still quite bothersome and is still an overall net increase in sensitivity from my pre-filling state.
To be fair and completely transparent, I do clench my jaw pretty often. However, objectively speaking, this is not something novel that has arisen over the past month, so it really shouldn't be an exclusively causal factor in why my teeth are now so sensitive -- I (embarrassingly) have had several cavities filled in the past by many different dentists, and this sensitivity post-filling has never happened before. I was genuinely hoping that my follow-up visits would have resolved my concerns, but that's not quite the case... *womp womp* :( Anyway, I have an appointment next week to get the filling redone. FINGERS CROSSED!
P.S. I pride myself on writing reviews that are as objective as possible, so I do want to reiterate that the staff are still awesome as ever and that this review should not at all reflect poorly on the professionalism and kindness that they constantly exhibit.

Definitely 5 stars for the staff & Doc! Everyone is so sweet and friendly, if I could I'd give more stars for them :) I get really anxious about dental work because I have very sensitive teeth, but every time I've been here everyone has been really understanding and reassuring, and it helps alleviate a lot of my stress.
On a slightly less positive note: A couple weeks ago I got some fillings done on both my left and right sides. My left side has been fine, but my right side started hurting a few days after my visit. I called to let them know, and thankfully I was seen the same day. Again, awesome staff and super nice. They showed they cared and wanted to make my comfort their priority. They fixed me up and everything felt fine for a couple days, but since then, it's started hurting again, and this time even more so than before I got the fillings :( I'm gonna try to get back in soon and see if they can fix me up one more time. I do hope to change this review to 5 stars if everything goes well and the pain goes away...!

My name is Binod Yadav. I have tooth issue for few days. My friend Rakesh Sharma recommend me there. He said Dr. Praveen and his staff have good experience but his Clinic little far from here. Because I live in walnutcreek. And Clinic in Oakley. First I was hasitate to go there. But I think ok I go and try. So I call and make a appointment. Christine took my phone and she gave me nice customer service. My appointment was thrusday 20th. 11.30 am. I reach there 11.00. Really Dr. Praveen is very nice and experience man. And staff is very friendly. Dr. Solve my issue. And he charge me very less money. Reasonable price nice service. Really recommend that place.

Beware! This office over-charges and over-treatment plans. Every new patient gets a so called "deep cleaning" but they don't measure the pockets to see if you really need it. The dentist uses a cavitron, not instruments and it's done in less than 30 minutes. They bill to insurances with made up charting so they can get paid. The treatment has to be redone by other dentists because of open margins on fillings and crowns.
Be careful, their nice on the outside but their hiding a lot behind the scenes.

This dentist is by far amazing. I went there for the first time today and I have to say that I was very pleased. The dentist herself was very knowledgeable and super friendly. The facility was very clean, organized and there equipment was up to date with the new technology . This was the first time I had a pain free cleaning. The staff were also very friendly I was surprised to see everyone still so nice even when it was close to closing. The day was coming to an end and the staff still had smiles on their faces. I have been to 3 different dentists in the last 4 months due to me not happy with how things are run. I am just sad that it took me this long to come here. I would definitely recommend them.

It was my first time coming here. Dr. Saima Hasnain and the staff was wonderful. There really friendly and make you feel welcome.
