Dr Shepard was "fair" kind of rude and condeseding and front desk staff is SLOW and rude. Took 45 minutes just to check in and there were only 4 other people waiting. Not a great situation when you have a toddler, if you're an adult bring a book or your laptop. Next time we'll skip and just go to pediatric ER. The staff were all a little put off by people who were sick, especially children and did not take into consideration my child might be scared so they commented on her cryIng with snotty little comments. I overheard the desk staff talking about other patients, so unprofessional. Not a great experience and will never go back unless it's a emergency then I will go to the ER instead. My overall experience with Presbyterian emergency and same day op staff has been less than desirable and I work for Presby!

Sometimes people get sick. Sometimes they get sick when they're away from their home and their usual doctor. When that happens, Urgent Care facilities fill the need. Presbyterian was there at 6:00 on a Saturday when others were closed. I brought my mom here with an earache.

Helped by a check-in clerk, we got to sit for a long while in a waiting room with an overly loud TV and several people simply glued to the TV. I suppose I can't really point fingers since I was glued to my phone and their free wi-fi.

I can't give you a specific review of the doctor or the care once we were called, since I waited while my mom went back. It was about another 45 minutes before she was released (discharged?).

On the weekends, parking is a piece of cake. The parking deck is almost completely empty. During the week, you may end up on one of the higher levels.

Office seems to be run ok. Some employees can really use an attitude readjustment, and they have been known to give patients inaccurate times for hrs of operation. They also specialize in Occupational Medicine. They are located inside the Midtown Medical Plaza building. Parking is free, and they are on the bus line.

Closing 15 minutes early regularly? Surprising. When you struggle to get a sick wife out of he car to the door to find out they closed early. Their clock was correct. One person said they regularly close 15 min early. I guess "urgent" in "urgent care" doesn't mean much to them.

This urgent care is awful. I have worked in healthcare for 7 years and have never come across such a rude staff and pure incompetence from the actual providers themselves. I saw Dick Richards, PA and was having to provide HIM with medical information! Scary to think of people who don't know much about medicine and go to him...he misdiagnosed me and I'm sure probably others. The director of the urgent care didn't seem too bothered by it...which is unfortunate because that means the same thing will happen to someone else. Save your time and money and go somewhere with a pleasant and knowledgeable staff!!!

Took my mother this past friday to her regular doctor and she recommended we go downstairs to urgent care to get my mother an IV as she was very dehydrated. Her doctor said she called to see if they could take her right away downstairs at this so called Urgent Care. Person said yes ,they could take her. Doctor at Urgent Care was sneezing loudly and wiping his sleeve when i first saw him grab chart and come in.He had been given paperwork from my mother's doctor about her status.Doctor on an ego trip and started lecturing me when i told him my mother needs iv,that he is the doctor and he is not going to do what another doctor suggested. I was in shock of his demeanor. Later a nurse came in and fooled around with my mom's veins, and claimed she couldn't do the IV and i should take my Mother to the hospital. I made complaint to Manager there but that is not enough. I don't think Medicare should pay for this bill either and will be looking into that. I recommend you DO NOT waste any time or money at this sorry place. I will be writing the BBB about Presbyterian Novant Urgent Care. Also, my mother's doctor works for the same Company.
